The purpose of this study is to analyse comparatively the transmissive tendency of the high-tech concept in the contemporary interior space. To achieve the purpose of this study, the methods and contents are as follows: 1.Explaining the concept of the High-Tech architecture. 2.Explaining the high-tech concept in the contpemporary interior space. 3.Analysing and estimating the high-tech concept in the expressive technical concept and the concept in the contemporary interior space. Concerning the expressive concept, the first ranking is transparency and metallicity, the last is emphasis of vertical circulation and nudity. Concerning the technical concept, the first ranking is flexibility, the last is comfortable interior environment by new technology. The interior space of the outside is superior in the expressive and technical characteristics

A Critical Look at Interaction in a Korean Middle School Classroom: Its Role in Development of Students’ Communicative Abilities

This article provides descriptive qualitative research on classroom interactions in a Korean middle school. The goal of the research was 1) to discover how teachers and students interact in class, 2) to examine how classroom interactions help students to develop or deter their communicative abilities of English, and 3) to find out how teachers and students can interact for improving their communicative abilities of English. Four classes were video taped, and then transcribed, coded with an observation system, FOCUS, and categorized to discover the patterns of interaction in this particular classroom. The findings indicated that there was little interaction which could be identified as meaningful communicative language practice. Although the teacher’s positive attitude and focus-on-form instruction seemed to facilitate students to produce and practice the target language, such factors as the inappropriate distribution of the amount and kind of class talk, and the teacher’s over-reliance on display type questions, might block students from truly communicating in English. It is suggested, therefore, that teacher educators and classroom English teachers make efforts to improve teachers’ teaching techniques, self-observation skills, and language proficiency.

What kind of view and thought should be possessed by the interior designer in the transferring era towards 21st century from 20th century? What kind of value view musts be possessed? And what kind of residence space culture created? Now I would like to express the origin of those problems and high technology which shows the expansion possibility applied to the updated high technology. The starting point of high-tech architecture was Charrow's glass house which was built in 1928-1932 and he used glass block structure by inducing new joint technology. After 2nd world war, Prouve showed assembly house model and made it possible mass production that characterized industrialization of it. By doing this, design should be represent the era and designer should be lead the era's design culture.

1950년대를 전후한 프랑스 주거예술의 특성

This study is aimed to analyze the characters of the residential art before and after 1950 in France. For this we will study the equipment art and the interior space planing. The equipment art is researched as the free form and the useful form. For the free form Jean Prouvé's Bureau Présidence and Le Corbusier's Unité d'Habitation in Marseille are studied. For the useful form the activity of l'Union des Artistes Modernes(UAM) is remarkable. UAM developed the exposition 'Useful form and objets in our period' and the planing 'bazar' in Paris Arts Décoratifs museum in 1949. 'The useful form' is combined in 'Salon des arts ménagers' since 1951. This appear the naturalist attitude of the UAM and the good taste of the modern. For the interior space Charlotte Perriand's 'Art d'habiter' and Jean Prouvé's 'Art de bâtir' are researched. Charlotte Perriand realized the experience in Japan and the architecture in Haute Savoie. This appear Perriand's human and naturalist attitude, and propose 'l'art de livre'. Jean Prouvé developed the various architectural system ; 'coque system', ' tropical house system', 'métropole' etc. Through this study we find out the characters of the residential art before and after 1950 in France.

치매노인을 위한 서울시 치매노인센터의 스마트 치유 환경 제안 연구

본 연구에서 스마트테크놀로지가 적용된 서울시 치매노인센터의 스마트환경모델을 계획하고자 한다. 서울시 25개 자치구의 노인치매센터 중 2010년 이후 리모델링된 5개 사례를 통하여 공간구성을 분석하였다. 치유환경의 지원형태에 따라 치매지원센터, 인지건강센터, 회복실로 분류되었다. 그리고 지원 형태에 따라 시나리오를 작성하기 위해 1-2개의 공간이 선정되었고 스마트시스템들이 스마트환경을 지원하기 위하여 적용되었다. 치매지원센터는 의료팀을 포함하는 공간으로 치매노인들의 치료를 돕기 위한 터치테이블, 스마트월 등의 스마트시스템이 적용된다. 인지건강센터는 교육을 통해 치매치유를 돕는 공간이고, 연구자는 프로그램룸에서 스마트터치테이블을 통해 스마트화 된 교육환경을 제공하고 스마트트래드밀과 RFID를 통해서 자동적으로 교육프로그램을 제공한다. 휴식공간은 치매노인들이 휴식을 취하고 배회하는 공간으로 연구자는 비정상적 환경감지나 시큐리티시스템 등 안전을 위주로 한 스마트시스템을 적용하였다. 본 연구는 다양해지는 스마트 시스템을 치매노인을 위한 시설에 적용함으로써 선진화된 치유환경을 제공할 것이다. In this study, smart technologies were applied to the demential elder centers of Seoul to propose a smart plan for such centers. For the five cases remodelled after 2010 among the demential elder centers of Seoul located in 25 self-governed districts, the spatial composition was analyzed and the composition spaces were classified into dementia support center, cognition health center, and resting center per the support type of the treatment environment. And per support type, 1-2 spaces were arbitrarily selected to prepare a scenario, and appropriate smart systems were applied to propose a smart treatment environment. Dementia support center is a space including medical team, which is a space-inserted smart technology for the example of diagnosis room in order to help the treatment of the demential elder. Also, smart touch table and smart wall for use with a simple touch. Cognition health center is a space that helps dementia treatment through education, and the researcher provides a smart education environment through smart touch table in the program room and provides education program automatically through RFID and Smart Treadmil. The resting spaces are spaces where demential elders can take a break or walk around, and the researcher applied the smart system focused on safety such as abnormal situation detection or security systems in the example of hallway. The results of this study shall contribute to providing an advanced treatment environment for demential elders using the demential elder centers of Seoul, and also providing a model design for demential elder center with safety, information, and convenience.

한국전통가구의 디지털콘텐츠 개발 및 산업적 활용방안 연구

This subject is about the study on digital contents development of traditional Korean furniture and industrial application method conserve our traditional peculiarity that is disappearing gradually in the rapid computerization. In order to carry out this subject, we established some methodology to industrialize the culture, the style, the decoration, the manufacturing process and the configuration details of traditional furniture in the form of digital contents with reference to books regarding the furniture in Chosun Dynasty and furniture collection in possession of museum, gallery, etc. This study made a database about traditional Korean furniture systematically to be used as basic materials that are available for diverse culture business as a whole with Korean identity in the future. The contents of this study are as follows: 1) Style of traditional furniture 2) Decoration of traditional furniture 3) Manufacturing process of traditional furniture 4) Configuration details of traditional furniture The contents work of traditional Korean furniture was to secure the identity of Korean furniture from the point of culture and to provide an alternative of modernization by re-illuminating the superiority of traditional furniture in discontinuation from the point of industry.
