      • 복식문화의 적응체계에 관한 연구(Ⅰ) : 기술적 요소를 중심으로 Technological elements

        Man and his environment interact each interact other in numerous ways and Man's ability to adapt oneself to environment has been developed through several mechanism which can be gotten out of specific culture. Among these, clothing and adornment are very important factor. The purpose of this study is to analyze the clothing and adornment which is adapt to a various ecological environments in all the parts of the world from the beginning of their developing processes. Analyzing clothing and adornment, I emphasized on the technical aspects of structure, pattern, material and dyeing of clothing and adornment. The results of this research is summerized as follows; 1. The materials of clothing and adornment have been developed by the natural environment of ecological niche. The use of leather, fur and woolen textile were developed in cold area and the use of cotton and linnen was developed in subtropical and tropical area. 2. The patterns of clothing and adornment have been expressed by the material which can be gotten from plant, animal and geographical materials that are produced in that region. 3. The dyes of clothing and adornment were substracted from mineral, plant and animal sources which existed in that area. 4. The structures of clothing and adornment have been shaped to accommodate organic human body under a stress of different weather: clothing of a closed structure in the cold region and clothing of an open structure in the mild and tropical region.

        여고생의 服色 선호와 성격특성과의 상관연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between color & clothing color preferences and three personality traits. Personality traits were measured with chung's Personality Scale. The questionare measuring Color & Clothing color preferences consisted of items designed to assess color preference, color repugnance clothing color preferences. These questionaire were administered to 302 senior high school girls in Seoul. Statistical analysis consisted of corelation and chi-square-test. The result were; 1) Activity, stability, sociability was no significant related to color preference. 2) Activity, sociability was positively related to color repugnance in Value but stability was no significant. 3) Sociability and stability was positively related to color preference, but activity and stability was no significant. 4) There was a positive relationship between color preference and clothing color preference. (r=0.8867) 5) The most preferred colors were white, light blue, and light green. The most repugnated colors were light red, dark red purple, and dark yellow. 6) The most preferred clothing colors were yellow, pink, and green in Spring, white and blue in Summer all kinds of colors, colors in Autumn, and Black and Grey in Winter.

      • 첫인상형성시 의복색이 사회성평가에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        Previous research has shown that clothing is an important determinant of an individual's first impression on a stranger. Color is a readily perceived feature of clothing and thus may be one dimension of attire that contributes to the impression conveyed by the wearer using the findings of investigations concerning color meaning and affect, it was hypothesized that clothing color would influence the stranger's personality trait's, expecially sociability. The subjects of this study are some 202 female students of Home Economics, Fine Arts, and Industrial Arts Departments of. Sangmyung University. Statistical Analysis consists of mean, standard deviation, and paired t-test. The results of this research were summerized as follows; 1) In interrelation between clothing color and it's sociability on making a first impression more sociable are warm color than cold one, chromatic than achromatic one, different color matching than similar one, and same color matching than different one respectively. 2) The traditional color symbol stands for the same emblem when applied to clothes.

      • 대학특성화를 위한 디자인대학 전임교원의 연구 경향분석 -2004년-2006년을 중심으로

        In this study, There is a purpose to guess an introduction and problem about university specification policy on the whole, and present basic data in object setting-up about competitive power` intensify and specification of design university hereafter, through grasping research activities contents of design university professors currently. For this, I analyzed datas a book, among design university former official teacher`s study results datas in 2004-2006 year, and art and science contest` presentation, trust actual results of research task, a paper, work and exhibition, service achievement (etc,). Analyzed this collected analysis datas in sections a year, study subject by frequency and percent. There are lots of work presentations about 5 times compared with papers, Therefore, It is shown that design university professors are making a studies putting a work than papers. Also, on occasion of papers, an international scientific paper`s publication quantity is wholly lacking almost, but on occasion of work display, it is resulted 2:1 ratio of domestic and international exhibition. Therefore, on occasion of full-time instructors, in this design university, it is resulted that they are doing work display activities more vigorously than research papers. Services subject research papers are total 36 papers. On occasion of reports presented to the government` affiliated organization, There are 5 cases in Chung-Nam district`s connection organization which school location. So it took lots of ratio. The trust results of full-time teachers` research task are total 18 cases. Mainly, an environment connection and C.I design connection was principal.

        남성화장품 브랜드명의 의미론적 특성

        The purpose of this research is to study the semantic characteristics of men's cosmetics brand names by analyzing 51 brand names in the domestic market, so as to find ways to develop strategic brand names. In order to investigate this area, the study looked at the Interbrand Company's Name Spectrum, and the results are as follows. The men's cosmetics brand names turned out to be freestanding brand names, descriptive brand names, and associative brand names, in that order. The freestanding brand names were found to be the initial combinations of the words that have the desired benefits in the concepts of the pertinent brands; in other words, coined brand names that were made by synthesizing words such as nice men, naturalism, eco-friendly plant-derived materials and ideal skin. Associative brand names are generally used to express the effect of enhancing brand awareness by considering the phonetic image of the word or prompting a masculine and favorable image. Descriptive brand names use language symbols such as men, homme, man, monsieur and gentle to represent specific business and product categories for men, and also use stem, plant, flower, skin, beauty, moisturizing, tosowoong and so on to provide the properties and beneficial information related to the products. In conclusion, the men's cosmetics brand names embody an important factor that symbolizes the concepts, functions or features of the brand, and there is a need for men's cosmetic brands to develop more unique and distinctive brand names to promote their brand names as constitutional factors that can build brand power and strengthen brand image.

        한국의류학의 연구경향분석 : 1991~1999

        This study is planned to present the future direction of the study of Korean clothes through the realistic recognition of the changes of studying issues of each area of the related clothes. For this purpose, the writer of this thesis have collected, classified and analyzed those various kinds of papers and theses published in the professional magazines of clothes such as Journal of Korean Home Economics, Journal of the Korean Society of clothing and Textiles, Journal of the Korean Society of Costume, The Research Journal of the Costume Culture so that I might examine and study the main trend of the related study. The result of the study is as fallows. 1. Since the first publication of Journal of Korean Home Economics in 1959 and Journal of the Korea Society of Clothing and Textiles, and Journal of the Korean Society of Costume, the study of clothes has been gradually increased. Furthermore, since 1990 the issuing times of various kinds of Journals have been continuously increased with the foundation of The Research Journal of the Costume Culture and Journal of Fashion Business. 2. Theses and papers published in the four greatest Journals of Korean Clothing and Textiles have been studies for the detailed classification and analysis of the data. According to the study, It is found that the theses in Journal of the Korea Society of Clothing and Textiles have actively studied textiles as they had studied before 1990s and those in Journal of the Korean Society of Costume have studied history of costumes and those in The Research Journal of the Costume Culture have studied costumes cultures and those Journal of Korean Home Economics have studied the composition and science of clothes. 3. The order of studying subjects was 1) Design and Aesthetics, 2) Fashion Merchandising 3) Textiles, 4) Clothing Construction, 5) History of Costumes, 6) Costume Culture, 7) Socio -Psychology of clothing, 8) Others. Considering the above mentioned result of the study, most of the main fields of the clothing and textiles study have been studied continuously in balance since 1990 unlike the past although the past studies had been performed largely in some main fields only. And it was found that fields of clothing styles and clothing goods have been studied most actively since 1990s. 4. The studying field of Design and Aesthetics has showed to have the trend to be studied very actively since 1990s, which has utilized various relevant data with scholastic approach to psychology and aesthetics. Regarding Fashion Merchandising, the study of consumers decision process has been performed most actively. And theses on the international trades have been published considerably more than ever before, which resulted in gradual increase in the study of the fields related with global marketing, internet marketing, textile products exports, and overseas brands, etc. Regarding Textiles, the field of clothing sanitation and management has been studied more actively than that of clothing materials. In case of clothing construction, the study of physical styles and pattern making has been more active than the other related fields. Fields of socio-psychology of clothing and history costume have been a little reduced. Field of costume culture has been firmly rooted as an independent subject to be studied in the clothing rotated study. And study of the clothes has shown various trends of studies of ethnic & folk clothes, religious and ceremonial garments, linguistic & favorite approach to clothes and academic analysis of the data.
