Dementia is the neurodegenerative process that affects cognition, behavior and function and one of the most prominent diseases of dementia is Alzheimer's disease(AD). AD is a dementing illness characterized clinically by the progressive and irreversible deafferentation of the limbic system, association neocortex and basal forebrain. A number of conditions are known to be predisposing risk factors for AD. In several of these, initiation of glial-mediated inflammatory pathways as a mechanism of AD is getting a lot of attention. On the other hand, a biochemical marker for monitoring the onset and progression of the disease would be a valuable tool for disease management. Also such a marker might be used as an end point in clinical intervention protocols. This biochemical marker will have the potential for identifying subjects afflicted with the disease and possibly for monitoring the onset and longitudinal progression of the disease. Here we have reviewed the latest papers of different approaches to AD. Of course, there is a section of PET which is very useful clinically nowadays.
웅담(熊膽).우황(牛黃), 저담(猪膽).우황(牛黃)을 배합별(配合別)로 제조(製造)한 약침(藥鍼)이 위운동(胃運動)에 미치는 영향

The aqua-acupuncture blended with liquid medicine and acupuncture is known to be effective in treating various medical disorders. This study used gallbladders of bear (WoongDam, WD, Ursus arctos Linne) and pig(JeoDam, JD, Sus scrofa domestica Brisson) plus the stones from the ox gallbladder(WooHwang, WH, Bos taurus var, domesticus Gmelin) to produce the liquid medicine. For the acupuncture, acupoint of ST -36 which is located one finger breadth from the anterior crest of the tibia was selected. There were a couple of purposes in this experiment. First, the relationship between aqua-acupuncture and gastric activity was scrutinized. Secondly, the possibility of pig gallbladder as an alternative organ to bear gallbladder for making liquid medicine was evaluated. Thirdly, different injection concentration ratio of liquid medicine was tried to figure out the optimal dosage for the aqua-acupuncture. The data of the present results indicated that the mixtures of WD + WH and JD + WH have a similar hypotonic effect on the stomach. These findings illustrated that aqua-acupuncture or hydroacupuncture showed inhibitory effect on the stomach in addition to its well-known prophylactic value. Also the possible alternative medical organ of pig gallbladder was checked out since two mixtures illustrated very similar trends in suppressing the gastric activity. The injection concentration ratio was not very different between two mixtures in terms of gastric motility except a couple of ratio. In conclusion, the aqua-acupuncture is a promising way to control the gastric activity for better medical purposes and the gallbladder of pig was assessed as a prospective one for making a liquid medicine.

In this paper, Medical institutions have different types of database structures for each, We design and implementation mapping system for health information data exchange to solve problems that is not easy to interwork with integrated. Integration of medical information system in order to analyze the structure and the mapping between XML and DBMS module is designed Extract Multiple tables handling, module design. Mapper for handling multi-table implementation designed to implement a data output function was assessed using Evaluation of the results of a multi-table processing module, the results were compared to a single processing module can generate an XML document that can express the depth of the DBMS and the relationships between the tables, the response rate is about 20% better results could be obtained.
인영(人迎)(ST9) 침자(鍼刺)가 백려(白鼠)의 혈압(血壓) 및 심박수(心博數)에 미치는 영향(影響)

To evaluate the effect of acupuncture on the hypertension, the study was done by acupuncture on bilateral Inyong(ST9) with rats which are normal and acutely increased hypertensive. The results are as follows: 1. Under the normal condition, the acupuncture on bilateral Inyong caused a quick drop of mean arterial pressure(MAP), but heart rate(HR) was not changed significantly. 2. To increase the blood pressure, acutely epinephrine was administered and it caused a increase in both MAP and HR. With acupuncture, the MAP was decreased while HR did not show a significant change. In conclusion, the acupuncture was somewhat effective in lowering the mean arterial pressure in the rat.
멀티플랫폼 환경에서 의료정보표준 기반 게이트웨이 설계 및 성능 평가

최근 병원정보 시스템은 의료서비스의 질과 효율성을 제고하기 위해 스마트폰 및 태블릿 PC를 활용한 스마트 진료서비스가 대형병원을 중심으로 도입되고 있으며 개인의 진료정보를 PC, 스마트폰 등을 통해 관리하는 개인건강기록(PHR) 서비스에 대한 관심 및 기술개발이 활발히 진행 중에 있다. 이러한 차세대 병원정보 시스템을 구축하기 위해서는 상이한 병원정보 시스템 간의 데이터 연동과 다양한 사용자 기기 간의 UX 일관성이 보장되어야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 멀티플랫폼 환경 하에서 의료정보를 통합하여 연동할 수 있는 게이트웨이 시스템을 설계하기 위해 개인의 진료정보 표준과 성능 향상을 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구를 통해 게이트웨이 시스템의 핵심 기능인 데이터 간의 매핑 방법에 있어서 CCR 표준을 적용하고 다중 테이블 기반 매핑 방법을 사용하여 시스템 설계를 하였다. 이에 대한 성능 평가를 위해 실험을 한 결과 응답속도가 약 20% 향상된 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. Recently, to enhance the quality and efficiency of health care services, smart health care services utilizing a smart phone and tablet pc are mainly being introduced into the large hospital and the interest for personal health record service which manages personal medical information utilizing PC and smart phone and technology development is actively underway. In order to build a next generation hospital information systems, the interoperability of data between the different hospital information systems and UX consistency between the various user devices must be assured. Therefore, in this paper, medical information standard and the study for improving the performance is conducted to design the gateway system which converting and integrating the medical information under multi-platform environment. In this paper, CCR standard is adapted to the mapping method between the data which is the key feature of the gateway system and design the system utilizing multi-table-based mapping method. To evaluate the performance of the system, experiment was done and the result has been improved approximately 20 percent for response rate.
