        기관 평활근종의 수술적 절제 -1례 보고-

        Leiomyoma of the trachea is a rare benign tumor. A case of leiomyoma of the thoracic trachea is described in a 46-year-old woman. The patient complained of productive cough, dyspnea and blood-tinged sputum since July 1993. Plain chest radiographs were not helpful, but computed tomography of the chest showed an intraluminal tracheal mass just above the carina. Fiberoptic bronchoscopy revealed a broad based, nodular mass rising from the posterior tracheal wall, just above the carina. The tumor was excised by sleeve resection and end-to-end anastomosis of the trachea was performed. The patient`s postoperative course was uneventful. She was discharged on the 20th postoperative day.

        Thoracic outlet syndrome presents with symptoms resulting from pressure on either the subclavian vessels or the lower trunk of the brachial plexus. It may be caused by a number of abnormalities, including degenerative or bony disorders, trauma to the cervical spine, fibromuscular bands, vascular abnormalities, and spasm of the anterior scalene muscle. We experienced a case of thoracic outlet syndrome [ caused by cervical rib .We report a case with review of literatures.

        수도품종(水稻品種)의 초형(草型)과 건물생산특성(乾物生産特性)의 변천(變遷)

        시대적(時代的) 변천(變遷)에 따른 수도품종(水稻品種)의 초형(草型)과 건물생산(乾物生産) 특성(特性)을 살펴보기 위해 12개(個) 품종(品種)을 공시(供試)하여 4개(個) 품종군(品種群)으로 구분(區分)한 다음 시험조사(試驗調査)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1. 간장(稈長)은 최근(最近)의 품종군(品種群)으로 올수록 짧아졌는데 일인교잡종(日印交雜種)에서 현저(顯著)히 감소(減少)하였다. 2. 수장(穗長)은 I군(群)에서 III군(群)으로 변천(變遷)하는 과정(過程)에서 감소(減少)하였고 IV군(群)에서는 단간(短稈)임에도 불구하고 다시 증대(增大)하는 경향(傾向)을 보였다. 3. 상위삼엽(上位三葉)의 엽신장(葉身長) 및 엽중(葉重)은 시대적(時代的) 변천(變遷)에 따라 감소(減少)하는 경향(傾向)을 보였고 특(特)히 IV군(群)의 엽신장(葉身長)은 I군(群), II군(群), III군(群)에 비(比)해 현저(顯著)한 차이(差異)를 보였다. 엽각(葉角)에 있어서도 최근품종(最近品種)으로 변천(變遷)함에 따라 직립경향(直立傾向)이 뚜렷하였고 특(特)히 IV군(群)은 상위삼엽(上位三葉) 평균(平均)이 $10^{\circ}$내외(內外)로 직립(直立)하였다. 4. 이삭의 추출도(抽出度)는 품종(品種)의 변천(變遷)에 따라 현저(顯著)한 감소경향(減少傾向)을 보였다. 5. Japonica 품종군(品種群)에 있어서 $m^2$당(當) 수수(穗數)는 최근품종군(最近品種群)에서 점증경향(漸增傾向)이었고, 1 수영화수(穗穎花數)에 있어서도 비슷하였다. 일인교잡종(日印交雜種)은 Japonica 품종(品種)보다 영화수(穎花數)가 대체(大體)로 많았으며 천립중(千粒重)은 일인교잡종(日印交雜種)이 약간(若干) 가벼운 경향(傾向)을 보였다. 6. 엽초 및 간(稈)과 엽신(葉身)의 건물량(乾物量)은 출수기(出穗期)에 최대치(最大値)를 보였고 이삭의 건물중(乾物重)은 출수후(出穗後) 10~20일(日) 사이에 현저(顯著)한 증가(增加)를 나타냈다. 7. 기관별(器官別) 생장속도(生長速度)를 보면 분얼성기(分蘖成期)에는 엽신(葉身), 유수신장기(幼穗伸長期)에는 간(稈), 유숙기(乳熟期)에는 이삭이 최대치(最大値)의 생장속도(生長速度)를 나타냈다. 8. 건물분배율(乾物分配率)을 보면 분얼기(分蘖期)에는 간(稈)>엽신(葉身)의 순(順)이었고 출수기(出穗期)에는 간(稈)>엽신(葉身)>수(穗)의 순(順)이었으며 등숙기(登熟期)에는 수(穗)>간(稈)>엽신(葉身)의 순(順)이었다. 9. 공시품종(供試品種)들의 정조수량(精租收量)은 건물중(乾物重) 및 수확지수(收穫指數)와 고도(高度)의 정(正)의 상관(相關)을 나타냈다. This experiment was conducted to study plant characteristics and dry matter production of several rice varieties. The results are summarized as follows. 1. Culm length was gradually shortened as varieties were improved and showed significant decrease in Japonica X Indica hybrids. 2. Panicle length seems to be shortened as varieties changed from group I to group III. However, varieties in group IV had longer panicle length in spite of shortening tendency in other groups. 3. Leaf blade length was decreased as varieties improved, but leaf blade width was increased. 4. Panicle exertion showed significant decrease as varieties improved. 5. Number of panicles per square meter among Japonica varieties was gradually increased and similar to the number of spikelets per panicle. Number of spikelets on Indica X Japonica hybrids were higher than Japonica varieties, whereas 1,000 kernel weight was slightly decreased. 6. Dry weight of leaf sheath and culm, and leaf blade was highest at the time of heading and the weight of panicle showed significant increase between 10 and 20 days after heading. 7. The maximum crop growth ratios of leaf blade, stem and panicles were attadined at the stage of heading, booting and milking, respectively. 8. The distribution ratio of dry matter was higher in leaf blade than in stem at the tillering stage. At the heading stage, the distribution ratio of dry matter was higher in order of culm, leaf blade and panicle. At the maturing stage, the ratio was higher in order of panicle, stem and laf blade. 9. Correlation coefficients among grain yield, harvest index, and biological yield were all significant and they were positive.

        5<sup>th</sup>%ile 여성 인체모형 뒷좌석 서브마린 방지에 대한 연구

        Since 2015, Euro-NCAP and C-NCAP have enhanced regulation on submarine of rear female passenger. This submarine regulation is a big obstacle to achieve the highest level crash performance. So the objective of this study is to develop new technical way to protect rear female passenger against submarine. In this study, we figured out how design factors of seatbelt affect submarine of rear female passenger by sled test. And we verified that rear passenger submarine can be improved by increasing intersection angle of seatbelt anchor and rotation amount of seatbelt buckle. Based on these results, this paper proposes a new invention of seatbelt buckle and anchor that can improve rear passenger submarine. One is seatbelt buckle that can be detached from stopper to prevent rotation and the other is seatbelt anchor that can be changed the structure so as to incline forward during crash. Finally we proved that submarine of rear female passenger can be improved by the effectiveness of new inventions.

      • 소아에서 복강경 탈장 수술의 초기경험

        Minimally invasive techniques for pediatric inguinal hernia repair have been evolving in recent years. We applied the laparoscopic method to repair pediatric inguinal hernia using the techniques of sac transection and intra-corporeal ligation. Between November 2008 and August 2010, 67 pediatric patients (47 boys and 20 girls) with inguinal hernias were included in this study. Postoperative activities, pain, and complication were checked prospectively at regular follow-up. One patient presented with clinically bilateral hernia, and three patients had metachronous hernias. Thirty-two cases out of 63 patients with unilateral hernias had a patent processus vaginalis on the contralateral side. Mean operation time was $35{\pm}11.4$ minutes for unilateral hernias and $43{\pm}11$ minutes for bilateral hernias. There were no intra-operative complications. One patient had a small hematoma on the groin postoperatively, which subsided spontaneously in a week. Recurrence and metachronous hernia were not found at follow up. In summary, laparoscopic inguinal repair in children is safe, easy to perform and has an additional advantage of contralateral exploration. Further studies should include long term follow-up.

        무선 센서 네트워크에서의 자기센서기반 이동경로 추적과 데이터 처리 모듈

        센서네트워크 환경에서 이동객체의 위치추적방법은 추적방법론에 따라 데이터의 수신과 위치추적의 정확성에 문제가 있었으며, 이러한 위치데이터는 오로지 위치 추적만을 위한 데이터이었기에 주변의 환경 데이터를 활용하여 상황에 맞는 정보판단 또는 모니터링에 한계가 있었다. 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위한 방법으로 상황인식(context aware)을 종종 활용하는데, 본 문은 자기센서를 기반으로 측정된 자성체(magnetic line tracer)의 자성데이터 위치 추적 및 제어에 관한 데이터처리에 상창인식을 활용한 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 센서네트워크 노드의 자기센서의 자성데이터 측정과 주변 환경정보 데이터를 이용하였고, 이러한 데이터를 상황인식 데이터베이스의 엔트리로 구성함으로써 추후 행동정보 추론 및 제어할 수 있다. 아울러 제안된 방법의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 센서네트워크 환경을 만족하는 테스트베드를 구축하였으며, 이를 이용한 라인트레이서의 위치 추적과 경로탐색의 결과를 도출하였으며, 도출된 데이터를 근거로 하여 주변 환경정보 데이터베이스 엔트리 및 상황인식에 따른 라인트레이서의 방향제어에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. In sensor network processing environments, current location tracking methods have problems in accuracy on receiving the transmitted data and pinpointing the exact locations depending on the applied methods, and also have limitations on decision making and monitoring the situations because of the lack of considering context-awareness. In order to overcome such limitations, we proposed a method which utilized context-awareness in a data processing module which tracks a location of the magnetic object(Magnetic Line Tracer) and controlled introspection data based on magnetic sensor. Also, in order to prove its effectiveness we have built a wireless sensor network test-bed and conducted various location tracking experiments of line tracer using the data and resulted in processing of context-aware data. Using the new data, we have analyzed the effectiveness of the proposed method for locating the information database entries and for controlling the route of line tracer depending on context-awareness.

        Methods to evaluate the twin formation energy: comparative studies of the atomic simulations and in-situ TEM tensile tests

        Deformation twinning, one of the major deformation modes in a crystalline material, has typically been analyzed using generalized planar fault energy (GPFE) curves. Despite the significance of these curves in understanding the twin nucleation and its effect on the mechanical properties of crystals, their experimental validity is lacking. In this comparative study based on the first-principles calculation, molecular dynamics simulation, and quantitative in-situ tensile testing of Al nanowires inside a transmission electron microscopy system, we present both a theoretical and an experimental approach that enable the measurement of a part of the twin formation energy of the perfect Al crystal. The proposed experimental method is also regarded as an indirect but quantitative means for validating the GPFE theory.
