In this paper, the representation system and contents of moral doctrine of changes in The first chapter of the last volume of Xici were divided into three parts and considered. The first chapter of the last volume of Xici fully contains the core concepts of I-Ching such as Eight Trigrams⋅Eight Diagrams⋅lines⋅heaven and earth⋅Sun and Moon⋅hardness and softness⋅ good or ill luck⋅humanity and justice⋅images. The first part discusses Divination⋅Lines⋅Words, the weightlifting representation system of I-Ching. Divination is Eight Trigrams(Qian⋅Kun⋅ Zhen⋅Xun⋅Kan⋅Li⋅Gen⋅Dui) and Eight Diagrams(Fuxi’s eight diagram⋅ Kingwen’s eight diagram⋅Zhengyi’s eight diagram), and Lines is 64 diagrams, and Words is Xici is Guàcí, Yáocí and Shíyì. The second part discusses the way of heaven and earth and good or ill luck, regret and stinginess. The way of heaven and earth is revealed as the virtue of divine light through the change of the yin and yang of the sun and the moon and the change of the four seasons, and human beings can live a moral life through the influence of saints. Human behavior is divided into five categories according to the mental attitude of the actor; good or ill luck, regret and stinginess, no fault. Good or ill luck is the result of behavior, and Regret and stinginess is a state in which the negligence of behavior has been turned into a fault. No fault is repentance and supplementation of negligence before it becomes a fault. In the third part, the Way of heaven and earth and Four Virtues are discussed. The virtue of moral doctrine of changes, which is implied in heaven and earth, is expressed through the ease of Heaven and the simplicity of Earth, and is finally completed as the four virtues of human nature. A sage protects morality with Ren(love), gathers people with wealth, governs the truth with righteousness, corrects the word, and makes the people keep the precepts. Human beings must realize and practice the four virtues through the words of the saints and the Four True Minds. Through the study of The first chapter of the last volume of Xici, the representational system and contents of moral doctrine of changes will be revealed, and the humanistic significance of I-Ching and the wisdom of human life will be obtained. 본 논문은 「계사하」 제1장의 내용을 세 부분으로 나누어 역철학적 의미를 고찰하였다. 「계사하」 제1장은 팔괘⋅효⋅계사⋅천지⋅일월⋅강유⋅길흉⋅건곤⋅인의 등 주역 의 핵심 개념들을 온전히 담고 있다. 첫째 부분에서는 주역의 역도 표상체계인 괘⋅효⋅사에 대하여 논하고 있다. 괘는 팔괘(건⋅곤⋅진⋅손⋅감⋅리⋅간⋅태)와 팔괘도(복희팔괘도⋅문왕팔괘도⋅정역팔 괘도)이며, 효는 육효중괘(六爻重卦)인 육십사괘이고, 사는 계사(繫辭)로 괘사⋅효사⋅ 십익(十翼)이다. 둘째 부분에서는 천지의 도와 길⋅흉⋅회⋅린에 대하여 논하고 있다. 천지의 도는 일월의 음양과 사시의 변화를 통해 신명의 덕으로 드러나며, 인간은 성인의 감화를 통해 도덕적인 삶을 살아갈 수 있다. 인간의 행동은 행위자의 마음가짐에 따라 길⋅흉⋅회⋅린⋅무구(无咎)의 다섯 가지로 나누어진다. 길흉은 행동이 득실의 결과로 나타난 것이며, 회린(悔吝)은 행위의 과실이 허물로 변질된 상태이며, 무구(无咎)는 과실이 허물 로 되기 전에 뉘우치고 보완하는 것이다. 특히 길흉은 곧음이 이기는 것으로, 자아성찰 을 통해 하나의 길한 결과로 귀결되게 된다. 셋째 부분에서는 건곤의 도와 사덕(四德)에 대하여 논하고 있다. 건곤에 함축된 역도 (易道)는 건의 쉬움과 곤의 간단함으로 발현되며, 마침내 인간 본성의 사덕으로 완성된 다. 성인은 인(仁)으로 덕위(德位)를 지키고, 재(財)로서 사람들을 모아서, 의(義)로서 진리를 다스리고⋅말씀을 바르게 하고⋅백성이 계율을 지키도록 하는 것이다. 인간은 성인의 말씀을 통해 사덕을 깨닫고 실천해야 한다. 「계사하」 제1장에 대한 연구를 통해 역도의 표상체계와 내용이 밝혀지면서, 동양철 학의 원류인 주역에 보다 가까이 다가갈 수 있다. 이를 통해 주역에 담겨진 인간 삶의 지혜를 얻을 수 있을 것이다.

에도(江戶)의 이국(異國)여행소설 - 풍자와 희화를 통한 이국에 대한 우월의식 -

本論文では、異国旅行小説に登場する異国がどのように描写され認識されているかを分析した。また、異国旅行小説の作品は道徳的、論理的観点から異国より優れているという自国への優越意識を見せている。異国の制度と風習になぞらえて日本社会を批判したり、風刺したりしている点に注目して考察を行った。 異国の旅行小説は異国の奇怪な存在と風習から教訓を引き出し、日本の優越性を強調し、説教色が濃い作品になっている。それによってファンタジーに満ちた想像の異国は色あせてしまう。教訓が中心となった異国旅行小説は、世の中の法度から分離し、自由な想像が走り遊ぶ世界までは至らなかった。現実世界の論理を超えた想像と驚異の世界は、養生と道徳という観点に吸収される。そして現実から脱皮しようとする欲望、遠い異国に対する憧れ、世界認識に対する警戒の拡大など、絶対的な他者性認識までは届かなかった。結局、想像力が幅を利かせる異国は、当時の江戸時代の現実論理によって抑制され、規制を受けることになった。 In this paper, I analyze how foreign countries in the foreign travel novel are described and recognized. The paper also shows a sense of national superiority that foreign travel novels display to foreign countries from a moral and logical perspective. We aimed to consider the features by noting that the novels criticize or satirize Japanese society by comparing it with the foreign systems and customs. The foreign travel novel draws a lesson from the bizarre presence and customs of the foreign country. Revealing Japan’s superiority, the preaching color becomes a work of deep color. As a result, the fantasy-filled imaginary alienation is fading. The foreign travel novel, on which the lessons are centered, is separated from the laws of the world. The free imagination falls short of the playing world. The world of imagination and wonder that transcends the logic of the real world is absorbed in the view of healing and morality. The desire to escape from reality, yearning for a distant foreign country, and the expansion of the boundary on world recognition fell short of the absolute perception of typology. Eventually, the imaginative nation will be suppressed and regulated by the logic of the Edo period at the time.
