A total of 17 polymorphic microsatellite markers on chromosome 1 were used for allelic association tests withbetween the high and the low trait groups. The frequency of allele 123 of MCW0160 showed a significant difference between the high and the low groups in the trait of egg weight (EW). Three markers, namely ADL0234, UMA1.125 and ADL0101, were found to show significant diferences in alelic distribution for the trait of the first lay day (FLD). UMA1.117, ADL0020, UMA 1.019, LMA1 and ADL0238 were found to show significant differences in allelic distribution for the trait of body weight (BW). ADL0101 and ADL0238 were found to show significant differences in allelic distribution for the trait of number of (UMA1.125), 225 (UMA1.117), 285 (ADL0020), 387 (UMA1.019), 418 (LMA1), 500 (ADL0101) and 520 (ADL0238) cM on chromosome 1 in Korean native chicken. The results provided a useful guideline for identification of positional candidate gene and marker-assisted selection for economic traits in Korean native chicken.
닭 정액의 보존온도 및 희석배율이 수정률에 미치는 영향

채취한 정액에 대하여 희석액의 배율을 달리하고 보존온도를 다르게 하여 3시간 보존 후 정자의 운동성 및 수정률을 조사한 결과, 정자 운동성은 5 ℃ 냉장보존 온도에서 희석배율에 따른 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 25 ℃ 상온보존에서는 정액과 희석액이 1:1 희석배율보다 1:3 및 1:6 희석배율이 정자 운동성이 현저히 높았고(P<0.05), 35 ℃ 고온보존에서도 1:1 희석배율보다 1:3 및 1:6 희석배율이 정자 운동성이 현저히 높은 것으로 나타났다(P<0.05). 5 ℃에서 3시간 냉장보존 후 인공수정을 하였을 때 1:1~1:6의 희석배율에 따른 수정률의 차이를 보이지 않았고, 25 ℃ 상온보존에서도 희석배율에 따른 수정률의 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 35 ℃의 고온보존에서는 1:1 희석배율보다 1:3 및 1:6 희석배율에서 수정률이 현저히 향상되었다(P<0.05). 이상의 결과로 보아 여름철 고온시는 1:1의 희석배율보다는 1:3 이상의 희석배율을 사용함이 좋을 것으로 사료된다. This study was conducted to investigate the effects of dilution rate and stored temperature of semen at 5, 25 and 35℃ on fertility in liquid rooster semen. At 5℃ cold temperature, no significant difference were found in sperm mobilities on dilution rate(1:1, 1:3, 1:6) among treatments. Sperm mobility for the conservation of 3 hours at 25~35℃ were significantly higher for 1:3 and 1:6 dilution rate(semen:diluent) groups than for 1:1 dilution rate group(P<0.05).<br/> In Fertility results after artificial insemination with the conservation of 3 hours at 5~25 ℃ temperature, no significant difference were found in fertility on dilution rate among treatments. Fertilities after artificial insemination with the conservation of 3 hours at 35℃ were significantly higher for 1:3 and 1:6 dilution rate(semen:diluent) groups than for 1:1 dilution rate group(P<0.05).
종란세척후 보관온도 및 기간이 오리알의 부화율에 미치는 영향

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of storage temperature and time of duck egg on its reproductive ability. After washing and disinfection, the hatchability of eggs stored at 5 ℃ for 1 to 20 days were 72.22~37.23 %. The values were not significantly different among storage time groups. The hatchability of eggs stored at 20 ℃ for 1 to 15 days were 67.89~19.59 %. When the eggs stored at 20 ℃, the hatchability of eggs stored for 1, 5 and 10 days were significantly higher(P<0.05) than those stored for 15 days. The hatchability of eggs stored at 30 ℃ for 1 to 10 days were 77.72~32.45 %. In terms of washing and disinfection of duck eggs, these data could provide useful information about storage temperature and time related to hatchability.
