Blepharospasm and apraxia of lid opening(ALO) are non-paralytic causes of involuntary eyelid closure. Clinically it is difficult to differentiate blepharospasm and ALO, and these two conditions are sometimes associated. We report a case of pretarsal blepharospasm presenting as apraxia of lid opening. 55-year-old woman was noted to have voluntary eye opening difficulty. We synchronously record the electromyographic(EMG) from the levator palpebrae superioris and the orbicularis oculi muscles in this patient. This results suggested that she has a variant of blepharospasm due to abnormal contraction in the pretarsal orbicularis oculi.

The water purification was very important in Korea which has not sufficient water resource and while adsorption method among the various methods to eliminate the water pollutants has been widely used by activated carbon. This study was conducted the basic experiment for hall distribution, pH, conductivity, electronic microscope, cation exchange and inorganic materials the adsorption capacity of Korean traditional charcoal which has similar characteristics to activated carbon of organic pollutants. As a result of observing Korean traditional charcoal with electronic microscope, it was found that it has porous structure, oak charcoal has circular structure, pine charcoal has square structure and bamboo charcoal has hexagonal structure, which has high void fraction per unit area because of its thin cell wall structure. As a result of experimenting hall distribution, hall distribution of bamboo high temperature charcoal is high as 0.269cc/g and has the greatest inorganic contents and cation exchange capacity(CEC) which are the important factor of chemical adsorption.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the effectiveness of Sihochunggan-tang gagambang and Gagamchengyoung-tang in the seven patients with seborrheic dermatitis. Methods : This case study was conducted for seven seborrheic dermatitis patients, who have visited Korean Medicine Clinic from 2013.10.01 to 2017.09.30. All seven patients were treated with Sihochunggan-tang gagambang and Gagamchengyoung-tang and acupucture. During taking medicine, we let them avoid bad food like fatty food and alcohol. We evaluated the symptom change through photographs and used Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) as the assessment method. Results : VAS such as skin severity of symptoms, sleep disorder, pruritus was decreased as a result of Sihochunggan-tang gagambang and Gagamchengyoung-tang and acupucture treatment in seven seborrheic dermatitis patients. Conclusions : After the treatment, the grade of VAS was decreased and most symptoms of seven patients were improved. As a result of examining VAS scores and photographs, Sihochunggan-tang gagambang and Gagamchengyoung-tang can be effective on the seborrheic dermatitis in seven cases in our study.
H.332 표준안에 근거한 소결합 멀티미디어 회의 시스템의 설계 및 구현

Multimedia conference systems are classified into the tightly coupled conference and the loosely-coupled conference, the former is a peer-to-peer-conference or multi-point-conference based un the ITU-T H.323 standard, and the latter is the H.332 standard extended from the ITU-T H.323 standard. Loosely-coupled conference based on the H.332 standard is composed of small participants with the capacity of the send-receive mode and large participants with the capacity of the receive-only mode. In the H.332 conference, a subject and a media type of the multimedia conference is pre-announced for conquest of the difficulty of capability negotiation, and used SDP of IETF for that. Therefore, the H.332-conference can conquer a defect of the H.323 multimedia conference scalability. This paper analyzes H.332 standard for the loosely-coupled conference and describes an implementation of the H.332 multimedia conference systems. 멀티미디어 회의는 크게 밀결합 회의와 소결합 회의로 구분되며, 전자의 경우는 ITU-T의 H.323 표준에 근거한 일대일 또는 다자간 멀티미디어 회의가 있고, 후자의 경우로는 H.323 표준을 확장한 ITU-T의 H.332 표준이 있다. H.332 표준을 근거로 한 소결합 멀티미디어 회의는 송수신 능력을 갖는 소수의 패널과 수신능력 만을 갖는 다수의 청중들로 이루어진다. H.332에서는 참가자가 다수일 때 능력교환의 어려움을 극복하기 위해 회의의 주제나 미디어 형식등을 회의가 열리기 전에 미리 알리며 이를 위해 IETF의 SDP를 이용한다. 이와 같은 방법으로 H.323 멀티미디어 회의의 단점인 확장성을 극복할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 소결합 멀티미디어 회의를 위하여 표준화되고 있는 H.332를 분석하고, 분석된 결과를 토대로 구현된 시스템을 소개한다.

The phytoplankton community of Kumgang river was investigated at the three stations from May to September, 1994. A total of 321 species was identified, which was classified into 131 genera, 20 orders, 8 classes. Green and euglenoid algae showed a maximum number of species at the Napo station in September, but there were no significant changes in different locations in the species number of blue green algae. The number of diatom species decreased from May to September at each station. Standing crop was low with 15.9×10^4individuals/ℓ in August, but high with 37.8×10^4 individuals/ℓ in September. Merismopedia spp., Oscillatoria spp., Microcystis aeruginosa and Cyclotella meneghiniana predominated in Kumgang River.

This study was conducted to develop and compare Samgyetang broth from extract of pre-treated chicken feet. Chicken feet were subjected to non-heating (control), heating at 70℃ for 12 h in a hot air dryer, and heating at 180℃ for 1 h in an oven. The heat-treated chicken feet were extracted at 121℃ for 1 h and 2 h, respectively. The extract was placed in a pouch with whole chicken carcass (470±10 g). The sealed Samgyetang retort was made according to the industrial method. The pH of the extract from preheated chicken feet was lower than that extracted from fresh chicken feet. The Thiobarbituric Acid Reactive Substances (TBARS) value of the preheated chicken feet extract was significantly lower (P<0.05) than that of fresh chicken feet extract, but there were no significant differences among the broths. As the extraction time increased, the pH and TBARS value decreased in the extract (P<0.05) but increased in the broth (P<0.05). According to the sensory evaluation test, the extract from 1 h hot air heating and drying was significantly better in appearance, aroma, and overall preference than the other treatments (P<0.05). The GC-MS results showed that benzaldehyde and benzothiazole, which are widely known to give meat and nuts flavor, were detected in those treatments (P<0.05). The Samgyetang broths prepared from 1 h hot air heating and drying extract were significantly higher in the overall acceptability according to the sensory test (P<0.05). In summary, the quality of retort Samgyetang broth can be improved by adding chicken feet extract which is subjected to heating and drying for 1 h.

Edible insects are gaining popularity as a potential future food source because of their high protein content and efficient use of space. Black soldier fly larvae (BSFL) are noteworthy because they can be used as feed for various animals including reptiles, dogs, fish, chickens, and pigs. However, if the edible insect industry is to advance, we should use automation to reduce labor and increase production. Consequently, there is a growing demand for sensing technologies that can automate the evaluation of insect quality. This study used short-wave infrared (SWIR) hyperspectral imaging to predict the proximate composition of dried BSFL, including moisture, crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, and crude ash content. The larvae were dried at various temperatures and times, and images were captured using an SWIR camera. A partial least-squares regression (PLSR) model was developed to predict the proximate content. The SWIR-based hyperspectral camera accurately predicted the proximate composition of BSFL from the best preprocessing model; moisture, crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, and crude ash content were predicted with high accuracy, with R2 values of 0.89 or more, and root mean square error of prediction values were within 2%. Among preprocessing methods, mean normalization and max normalization methods were effective in proximate prediction models. Therefore, SWIR-based hyperspectral cameras can be used to create automated quality management systems for BSFL.
