        한국 영유아를 위한 일과기반 발달검사 MEISR 타당화

        Objective: The Measure of Engagement, Independence, and Social Relationships (MEISR) is a tool designed to assess the engagement, independence, and social interactions of infants and toddlers during daily activities. This study aimed to develop Korean version of MEISR (K-MEISR) and evaluate its reliability and validity. Methods: Korean version of MEISR was developed through the translation and modification of items of the MEISR following a pilot study (N = 44). Two studies were conducted with parents of infants and toddlers up to 36 months old using online (N = 124) and offline (N = 134) versions. Data were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 and AMOS 25.0. Item difficulty and discrimination, as well as passing rates were calculated; and internal consistency, correlations among the routine and total scales, factor analyses, and correlations with K-DST ratings were analyzed to determine the reliability and validity of K-MEISR. Results: Analyses of item difficulty and passing rates identified characteristics of items for determining the item order for K-MEISR. High correlations between the total of each routine and the total of all items were found in both the online (r = .896~.992) and the offline (r = .874~.988) versions. Reliabilities of all total scale items were high for both the online (r = .998) and the offline (r = .997) versions. Reliabilities of routine items were also high, ranging from .913 to .985 for the online and .914 to .985 for the offline version. Correlations between K-DST and K-MEISR were high for both the online (r = .981) and offline (r = .959), showing high concurrent validity. Conclusions: The items of the total scale, and routines and functional domains showed high internal consistency and high correlations with K-DST, revealing the concurrent validity of K-MEISR. Recommendations for further research and clinical use of the assessment tool are discussed.

        Purpose: The aims of this study was to evaluate the effects of shoulder lateral rotation and trunk extension exercises on standing posture improvement exercises using turning round in the patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods: For twenty-one patients with Parkinson's disease, shoulder lateral rotation and trunk extension exercises were performed for a total of three sets, ten times a set, three days a week for twelve weeks. To measure turning round, ink foot-print method was used. The number of steps and time were measured every week for before and after study (twelve weeks). Results: The results are as follows: Changes in steps and time on each week during twelve weeks showed significant differences, compared with before test(p<0.05). Conclusion: Standing posture improvement exercises can help perform turning round in the patients with Parkinson's disease.

        Genome/transcriptome analysis of the chigger mite Leptotrombidium pallidum, a major vector for scrub typhus, with a special focus on genes more abundantly expressed in larval stage

        Leptotrombidium pallidum is the major vector mite for Orientia tsutsugamushi, the causative agent of scrub typhus, in Asian countries, including Korea. Despite its medical importance, L. pallidum has little genetic information available to date. To analyze the L. pallidum genome, we extracted genomic DNA (gDNA) from a single female of a 7-generation inbred L. pallidum colony and amplified the gDNA by whole genome amplification (WGA). The resulting amplified gDNA was used to construct paired-end and mate-pair libraries that were sequenced using Illumina platforms (HiSeq2000 and MiSeq). More than 45 Gb of sequence reads from both paired-end and matepair libraries of the WGA gDNA were trimmed and then de novo assembled using CLC Assembly Cell v.4.0 for contig assembly and SSPACE for scaffolding. The assembly generated approximately 6,545 scaffolds with an N50 value of 92,945 and total size of ~ 193 Mb. For gene predictions, the PASA and GeneWise models were used, and ab initio gene predictions were performed independently, resulting in the prediction of 15,842 genes. RNA-Seq expression profiles revealed constitutive expression of 11,572 unique protein-coding genes in larva, 12,364 in protonymph, 12,872 in male adult, and 12,617 in female adult stages. Of the 15,842 predicted genes, 10,885 were commonly expressed through all L. pallidum stages. Genes selectively over-transcribed in the larval stage, which is when host parasitization and disease transmission occur, were further annotated, and their putative roles were discussed.

      • Water-soluble conjugated polymers and their applications of polymer LED and polymer solar cells

        In recent years, polymers and small molecules based on diketopyrrolopyrole(DPP) have been extensively studied in organic solar cells due to its planar structural features. By comparing with the polymers, small molecules have several advantages such as ease of synthesis and purificaion. In this study, we synthesized a series of new donor-acceptordonor type small molecules based on DPP with different alkyl chains as electron deficient unit and perylene as electron rich unit. The effect of different alkyl chains on optical, electrochemical and photovoltaic properites will be dicussed. Besides, we also investigate change of optoelectrochemical properties by annealing process.

      • Hole injection material based on oligo-triphenylamine for PLEDs

        A trimer with thermally crosslinkable vinyl groups, (4-butyl-phenyl)-bis-[4-((4-vinyl-phenyl)-(4-butyl-phenyl)-phenyl-amine)-phenyl]-ami ne (3-TPA), was synthesized successfully. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) thermogram of 3-TPA showed two endothermic processes at 122 and 218°C at the first heating scan. The endothermic peak at 122°C corresponds to the melting behavior of 3-TPA and the other at 218°C seems to be from thermal crosslinking. Thermally cured 3-TPA film at 180°C for 1 h showed very good solvent resistance and was electrochemically stable. The highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) energy levels of cured 3-TPA film was -5.09 and -2.10 eV, respectively. The turn on electric field of PLEDs with cured 3-TPA was 1.37-1.80 MV/cm, which was smaller than that of the device without 3-TPA (2.51 MV/cm). The luminance efficiency and brightness of polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) based on 3-TPA were much higher than that of the PLED without 3-TPA. This is due to that cured 3-TPA has hole injection and transporting property. Among the PLEDs, the device with a 20 nm-thick cured 3-TPA showed the best performance with a maximum efficiency of 1.29 cd/A and a maximum brightness of 2,500 cd/m<sup>2</sup>.

        세라밴드 운동 프로그램이 여성노인의 골밀도와 건강증진행위에 미치는 효과

        2010년 국민건강 영양조사 결과에 따르면, 골다공증 유병률(만 50세 이상 성인)은 여자 34.9%, 남자 7.8%로 50세 이상 여자 3명 중 1명은 골다공증을 앓고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 50-59세에서 15.4%, 60-69세 32.8%, 70세 이상에서 65.2%로 연령이 증가함에 따라 골다공증 유병률이 증가하였고, 골밀도도 남녀 모두 50대부터 급격히 감소되는 양상을 보이고 있다(Ministry of Health & Welfare [MOHW], Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention [KCDC], 2011). 건강보험심사평가원이 최근 5년간(2007-2011년)의 심사 자료를 이용하여 골다공증을 분석한 결과 2007년에 비해 진료인원이 5년 간 44.3%가 증가하였고, 특히, 50대 이상의 장 · 노년층에서 93.7%의 점유율을 차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 총 진료비는 35.0%가 증 가하여 연평균 7.9%가 증가하는 것으로 나타나 골다공증으로 인한 건강문제뿐 아니라 의료비 부담과 경제적 손실이 급증할 것으로 예 상된다(Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service [HIRA], 2013). 골밀도의 위험요인으로 남성보다 여성, 백인이나 동양인, 연령의 증가, 에스트로겐의 결핍, 낮은 체질량 지수 및 저체중, 골다공증의 가족력, 흡연, 골절, 운동량 부족, 늦은 초경, 이른 폐경 등을 보고하 여(National Institute Health [NIH] consensus conference, 2001), 여성 이 골다공증의 위험에 더 빈번하게 노출되어 있음을 볼 수 있으며, 특히, 청장년기에 낮게 형성된 최대 골량과 노화 및 폐경으로 인한 빠른 골소실이 골다공증 위험인자로 폐경이후 노년층에서 골소실 을 가능한 막고자 하는 노력이 필요하며 일생 동안의 관리가 필요 하다(Korean Society for Bone and Mineral Research [KSBM], 2008).
