        Several field surveys were conducted to investigate changes of water quality with time in a tidal river. Results indicated that nitrification process were dependent on the change of salinity and suspended solids concenttration. Therefore laboratory batch experiments were conducted, using suspended solids and sediment taken from a tidal river, to study the effect of salinity on nitrification and to estimate kinetic parameters of it in the tidal river. suspended solids and sediment were sampled at a point in the middle stream. Sediments were collect from the aerobic layer of mud. The change of nitrogen concentration with time was clearly explained with Monod groth model and kinetic parameters were obtained by curve fitting method. Changes in NH4-N, NO2-N, and NO3-N concentrations in the river ROKKAU with time were simulated well using Lagrangian reference frame and parameter values obtained in the laboratory tests. T도 mechanism of nitrification by suspended solids and sediment in a tidal river is shown to depend on tidal effects.

      • 잠수구조물에 의한 비선형파랑변형에 관한 연구

        The present paper discusses the nonlinear wave deformation due to a submerged coastal structure. Theory is based on the frequency-domain method using the third order perturbation and boundary integral method. Theoretical development to the second order perturbation and boundary integral method. Theoretical development to the second order Stokes wave for a bottom-seated submerged breakwater to the sea floor is newly expanded to the third order for a submerged coastal structure shown in Figure 1. Validity is demonstrated by comparing numerical results with the experimental ones of a rectangular air chamber structure, which has the same dimensions as that of this study. Nonlinear waves become larger and larger with wave propagation above the crown of the structure, and are transmitted to the onshore side of the structure. These characteristics are shown greatly as the increment of Ursell number on the structure. The total water profile depends largely on the phase lag among the first, second and third order component waves.

        Kusuryac is a mathematics book which was written by Suck Jeong Choi(1645-1715). In this paper, we will introduce the construction of the Kusuryac and analyze the content of the book. We will also find the Koran mathematics feature which is contained in the book, and distinguish some differemces between the aristocratic mathematics and the mathematics of mathematicians. As a conclusion, we can find the fact that mathematical properties of the numerical concepts in the Kusuryac can not be developed because the conception of number is too much inclined to metaphysics.

      • 경계 적분식법을 이용한 유전체를 씌운 원통 안테나의 해석

        Boundary integral equation ti applied to cylindrical antenna coated with dielectric. Basic formula is based on weighted residual technique. This formula is applied to the scattering of infinite cylinder, scattering cross section(SCS), and the radiation of finite cylinder of which boundary condition is considered to the surface and ends. The center of cylindrical antenna is feeding with magnetic frill current. The radiation fields and admittance of thin wire dipole antenna are determined under the assumption that the current distribution on the antenna is sinusoidal cruve. If the radius of cylinder is appreciable, this sinusoidal current is not strictly valid, that means to have very narrow band radiation characteristics. Any small perturbation in the operation frequency results in large changes in its operational behavior. For a given antenna, this can be accomplished by holding the length the same and increasing the diameter of the cylinder. More broad band characteristics can be obtained by increasing the diameter of a given antenna. If the antenna is coated with dielectric of electrically and magnetically lossless or lossless material, the radiation characteristics(of the current distribution, far field pattern, input impedance, band width, radiation efficiency, and effective length) are affected by dielectric material. Boundary element method(B. E. M) are used for numerical method. Surface source point more effectively divided in B. E. M than in domain type method. Numerical results are good agreement with other researches in perfectly conduction cylinder are shown in cylinder coated with dielectric.

        35세 이하 여성에서의 침윤성 자궁경부암

        The incidence in women less than 35 years of age is increasing despite an overall decrease in newly diagnosed invasive cervical cancer among all age groups. However the influence of young age on prognosis remains controversial. So 163 patients of invasive cervical cancer in women aged 35 or less treated from Jan. 1, 1984 to Dec. 31. 1993 at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Kosin Medical College, Pusan, Korea, were studied retrospectively. We obtained the following results; The 5 - year survival rates by clinical stage were 88.7Y% in stage I b, 71.5% in stage IIa, 31.2% in stage IIb and O% in stage III or above. The lymph node metastasis rates by stage in RAH group, were 21.3% in stage I b and 31.8% in stage IIa. The lymph node metastasis rates by lesion size in RAH group, were 19.2% in 2cm below, 20.7% in 2-4cm and 40.0% in 4cm above. The 5 - year survival rates in RAH group were 74,9% in lymph node positive group and 89.0% in lymph node negative group. The recurrence rates by clinical stage were 0% in stage Ia, 20.6% in stage I b, 22.2% in stage IIa, 50.0% in stage Ilb and 90.9% in stage III or above.

        브로드밴드와 정보 관련 서비스의 경제적 효과 연구

        This study investigates the effects of broadband and information services on total factor productivity and employment during 1988-2012 in Korea. Empirical results provide the following meaningful information. At first, because broadband and information service activities effects on productivity are statistically significant at 10% but not at 5% significance level, it is possible that the effect is influenced to some extent by uncertainty. Hence, it is important to increase industrial utilization of broadband and information services, as well as to expand broadband itself quantitatively and qualitatively. Secondly, it is likely that the effect of broadband and information service activities on employment is not positive at least because the related coefficients are statistically insignificant but negative. It implies that the expansion in broadband and information services so far has been concentrated on cost reduction and corresponding productivity improvement. 본 연구에서는 한국의 1998-2012년 기간 동안 빅데이터 관련 인프라인 브로드밴드와 정보 관련 서비스의 활용이 산업의 총요소생산성과 고용에 실제로 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 분석하고 있다. 실증분석의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 브로드밴드의 급속한 확대와 더불어 정보 관련 서비스의 활용은 생산성 향상에 유의적으로 기여하지만 그 통계적 유의성이 높지 않아 그 효과의 불확실성이 다소 존재한다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 브로드밴드의 양적·질적 수준 확대도 중요하지만 생산성 향상을 위한 브로드밴드의 산업적 활용과 정보 관련 서비스 활용 또한 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 둘째, 브로드밴드 확대 및 정보 관련 서비스 활용의 고용 증가율에 대한 효과가 유의적이지 않아 고용 증가율에 부정적 효과를 미친다고 단정할 수는 없으나 긍정적인 효과를 미치지 않는다는 것은 분명하다. 이는 아직까지는 브로드밴드 확대 및 정보 관련 서비스 활용이 비용절감 및 이를 통한 생산성 향상에만 국한될 가능성을 시사한다.

        Regional administration is the field of local administration that is not comparatively activated. But if regional administration is to be promoted efficiently and effectively in an age of localization, central government, local government and local citizens should make a joint effort to achieve the goal. In particular, regional administration is the system premised on collaboration, there should be the mjutual understanding and cooperation between local autonomous bodies and further residents cooperation. When only one-sided benefit and assertion are propounded, regional administration comes to lose its proper meaning, For instance, what should be set down as the basic framework inh carrying out the functions of regional administration such as the prevention of environmental pollution, unban planning, water supply and sewage disposal system, road, traffic systems, and the like, should be the subjugation of regional egoism, the cooperative relatonship of mutual dependency, and the relationship of competition in good will, negotiation and exchange. In conclusion, regional administration should proceed to meet the double-sided needs that it attempts to cope with autonomously without turning to national government for the demand of regional administration for the indidual local authority alone to deal with at the some time that it implements the fundamental ideology of local autonomy in pursuit of efficiency and democracy. Accordingly, in case one local authority needs some cooperation from another local authority, it is advisable to enable it to choose the method of cooperation suitable to the characteristic of the local authority in its own way. The relationship between central government and local government should break away from the direct supervision centering around control, and both roles should be reestablished on a basis of mutual cooperation. And, for this purpose, it is thought that both the establishment of a new administrative system for the treatment of the affairs of regional administration between the wide-area units of local governments and between central government and local government, and the setup of a speicial body for the treatment of the functional affairs of regional administration would be come one of its remedial measures. Conseguently, this could make a contribution to regional development and further national development as well as the goal of administration regional administration attempts to achieve.

      • 퍼지제어를 이용한 루프검지식 교통 신호등의 최적주기연구

        This is a study of the electro sensitive traffic system which uses sensors to both extend the cycle if there are many vehicles waiting at a stop light, and reduces it, if there are only a few. It was determined that each vehicle which passes through the loop detector neither is the same length, nor weighs the same, nor is going the same speed. Therefore, the conventional traffic control method is an inadequate measure of traffic volume and can cause delays and increaes waiting time. This paper proposes the optimal traffic cycle using fuzzy control as a system which will reduce vehicle waiting time and will improve the average speed a vehicle travels.
