Temperature distribution, transformation and residual stresses generated during the quenching process of carbon steel. It follows many difficulties in the analytical considerations on those quenching process because of the coupling effects on temperature and metallic structures. In this paper one of the basic study on the quenching stresses was carried out for the case of the round steel bar specimen(SM45C) with 40㎜ both in its diameter and length. The temperature distributions considering strain hysteresis were numerically calculated by finite element technique. In calculating the transient temperature field, the heat flux between water and rod surface was determined from the heat transfer coefficient. The gradient of temperature is almost same to geometric of specimen. At early stage of the quenching process, the abrupt temperature gradient has been shown in the surface of the specimen.

The machinery arrangement of vessel engine room is a design phase that decides the location of various equipment in a compartment to make the most of the function of every components and to meet the limit of ship space at the same time. In case of the ship, only one of the several alternative layouts is selected. This process depends on the experience, knowledge and judgement of an expert and as a result of it's hard to get an objective evaluation. We reference a standard that can objectively evaluate alternative layout for machinery arrangement.

congestion sea area. The marine traffic congestion has increased due to the expansion of vessel traffic volume in Yeosu·Gwangyang ports waterway during from 2012 to 2014. Heavy traffic could bring serious marine casualties which cause the lose of human lives, properties and marine pollution in Yeosu·Gwangyang ports area. In this paper, the maritime casualties at the Yeosu·Gwangyang ports from 2012 to 2014. These casualties are classified into several patterns or the point of view of ship’s size, type of casualties summary, months, day of week, time-slot and its characteristics of pattern are described in casualties detail.

It has already been know that quenching effect is influenced greatly by stirring and changing coolants temperature on quenching. But according to has past investigations its effect has not been taken into consideration quantitatively in the cooling process. The purpose of this study is that the influence of flow rate and temperature on the quenching effect control of cooling water as quenching medium is quantitatively examined by using the open channel. The quenching effect control was influenced by the water temperature and the flow rate. Although the quenching effect appeared loosely in the water temperature and the flow rate. Although the quenching effect appeared loosely in the water temperature of 50℃, it was shown that the quenching effect increased in the low flow rate of 31cm/sec.

The major problems associated with the manufacturing processes of the microaccelerometer based on the tunneling current concept is the residual stress. This paper deals with finite element analysis of residual stress causing pop up phenomenon which are induced in micromachining processes for a microaccelerometers sensor using silicon on insulator(SOI) wafer. After heating the tunnel gap up to $100^{\circ}C$and get it through cooling process and the additional beam up to $80^{\circ}C$get it through the cooling process. We learn the residual stress of each shape and compare the results with each other, after heating the tunnel gap up to $400^{\circ}Cduring$ the Pt deposition process. The equivalent stresses produced during the heating process of focused ion beam(FIB) cut was also to be about $0.02~0.25Pa/^{\circ}C$and cooling process the gradient of residual stresses of about $8.4\{times}10^2Pa/{\mu}m$ still at cantilever beam and connected part of paddle. We want to seek after the real cause of this pop up phenomenon and diminish this by change manufacturing processes of microaccelerometer sensors.
선박용 TEMA 열교환기의 전열관 확관시 탄소성 응력 해석

선박에 사용되는 TEMA 열교환기 전열관의 확관 공정에서 발생되는 탄소성 응력과 변형량의 거동을 유한요소법으로 해석하였다. 열교환기의 관판 구명의 홈 깊이와 롤러 익스팬더의 작용압력을 변화시켜 해석한 결과, 전열관의 관판 구멍의 홈 깊이가 커지면 탄소성 압축응력은 감소하였고, 롤러 익스팬더 압력이 높을수록 관판 구멍의 홈 모서리 부분의 탄소성 응력이 증가되었다. Marine TEMA heat exchanger is the equipment to transfer the heat energy through both fluids that are enclosed separately by applying conduction and convection phenomena for a large vessels, Especially for heat exchanger working under the high temperature and high pressure, the expansion ratio should be taken into account other than under the low temperature and low pressure. This study was tried to find out the ideal expansion ratio through analyzing the elasto-plastic stress behavior of deformation while tubes are expanded with the finite element methods.
