Comfort properties of ZrC/Al₂O₃ imbedded heat storage woven fabrics

technical information as a commercial base, various physical properties including heat storage property of the ceramic-imbedded woven fabrics were less known because of confidentiality. This study investigated different physical properties of ZrC/Al2O3 imbedded heat storage woven fabrics. ZrC and Al2O3 imbedded heat storage PET filaments were spun on the pilot spinning equipment, respectively. Various physical properties of ceramic imbedded fabrics made of ZrC and Al2O3 imbedded filaments were measured and compared with those of the regular PET woven fabric. The surface temperatures of the ZrC and Al2O3 imbedded fabrics were higher than that of the regular fabric. Water absorption rate of ceramic imbedded fabrics was better than that of the regular fabric and drying property was inferior to that of regular fabric. Breathability by water vapour resistance(Ref) of ZrC imbedded fabric was superior to that of regular fabric. Heat keepability rates of the ceramic imbedded fabrics were higher than that of the regular fabrics, which revealed a good heat storage property of the ZrC/Al2O3 imbedded fabrics.

The trade war between the United States and China has been going on for many years, and sanctions against Chinese telecommunications companies in the United States are increasingly tightening. Despite these restrictions, ZTE (Zhongxing), China's leading communication equipment company, is rather expanding its market share in the global 5th generation mobile communication (5G) market. ZTE's growth and competitiveness are based on its unique corporate culture. ZTE places great importance on R&D, has a corporate culture of humility and moderation based on traditional Chinese culture. Besides, it has the placement and use of human resources in the right place. While ZTE strives to implement people-centered management, it makes good use of internal competition. Despite ZTE's global market share and corporate competitiveness, virtually nothing has been studied in Korea. The results of this study are intended to be helpful in enhancing the competitiveness of Korea's ICT industry and companies that want to expand to the world while fostering 5G. 미국과 중국의 무역전쟁이 수년 간 지속되고 있고, 미국의 중국통신기업에 대한 제재는 점점 강화되고 있다. 이런 재제에도 중국의 대표적 통신장비업체인 ZTE(중싱)은 글로벌 5세대 이동통신(5G) 시장에서 점유율을 오히려 확대하고 있다. 이러한 ZTE의 성장과 경쟁력은 ZTE의 독특한 기업문화에 기반하고 있다. ZTE는 연구개발을 중시하며, 적재적소에 인재배치 및 활용, 중국 전통문화에 기반에 겸손과 절제, 중용의 ‘온정문화(温情文化)’라는 기업문화를 가지고 있다. ZTE는 사람 중심 경영을 구현하기 위해 노력하면서도, 내부경쟁을 적절히 활용하고 있다. ZTE의 기업문화는 상호 존중, 충실함, 혁신, 우수한 서비스, 브랜드 중시, 과학적 관리 등으로 설명된다. Several attempts to improve L-tyrosine production have been implemented, but regulation of translation-level expression and carbon flux rebalancing around PEP nod still remain to be achieved. Here, we redistributed and optimized the metabolic pathways by precise control of the carbon flux between L-tyrosine biosynthetic pathway and the TCA cycle at the PEP node for maximum L-tyrosine production in Escherichia coli. A synthetic constitutive promoter and 5’-untranslated region were designed to control at both transcription and translational levels and carbon flux was rebalanced by controlling the expression level of PEP synthetase using UTR Designer. Using this approach, the L-tyrosine productivity of the engineered E. coli strain was increased resulting in 3.0 g/L of L-tyrosine titer, 0.0354 g L-tyrosine/h/g DCW of productivity, and 0.102 g L-tyrosine/g glucose yield.
Granulocytic Sarcoma in Breast after Bone Marrow Transplantation

Granulocytic sarcoma is a localized extramedullary solid tumor composed of immature myeloid cell and is usually associated with acute myeloid leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome. Although it can involve any site, commonly in lymph nodes, skin, bone and soft tissue, the involvement of breast is unusual. Especially, the involvement of the breast as a pattern of relapse after bone marrow transplantation is extremely rare. We have experienced 2 cases of granulocytic sarcoma after bone marrow transplantation. One case was a 39-year-old woman with right breast mass diagnosed with granulocytic sarcoma. She had received an unrelated bone marrow transplantation due to biphenotype acute leukemia 3 years before our presentation. Another case was a 48-year-old woman with acute myeloid leukemia, who was diagnosed with granulocytic sarcoma on both breasts 8 months after allogenic bone marrow transplantation. We also discuss the clinicopathologic features of granulocytic sarcoma in breast after bone marrow transplantation.

Calcium plays a role as a signaling molecule in various cellular events. It has been reported that calcium suppresses adipocyte differentiation only in the early phase of adipogenesis. Herein, we demonstrate that treatment of A23187, a mobilizer of intracellular calcium, on day 4 post adipocyte differentiation could still reduce lipid accumulation in differentiating 3T3-L1 cells for 48 h. In addition, luciferase reporter gene and RT-Q-PCR assays demonstrate that A23187 can selectively inhibit transcriptional activities and expression of PPARγ and LXRα, suggesting that A23187 may reduce lipid accumulation in the late phase of adipogenesis via downregulation of PPARγ and LXRα expression and transactivation. Moreover, inhibition of HDAC activity by trichostatin A (TSA) partially blocked A23187-mediated downregulation of transcriptional activities of PPARγ and LXRα. Together, our data demonstrate that calcium mobilization inhibits expression and transcriptional activities of PPARγ and LXRα, resulting in reduced lipid accumulation in differentiating adipocytes, and thus, mobilization of intracellular calcium in adipocytes may serve as a new preventive and therapeutic approach for obesity.

Stearoyl-CoA desaturase (SCD), the rate-limiting enzyme in the biosynthesis of monounsaturated fatty acids, is highly expressed in prostate cancer although the SCD protein has been known to be rapidly turned over by proteolytic cleavage. The present data demonstrate that SCD can promote proliferation of androgen receptor (AR)-positive LNCaP prostate cancer cells and enhance dihydrotestosterone (DHT)-induced AR transcriptional activity, resulting in increased expression of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and kallikrein-related peptidase 2 (KLK2). Interestingly, among the previously reported SCD-derived peptides produced by proteolytic cleavage of SCD, a peptide spanning amino acids 130-162 of SCD (SCD-CoRNR) contained the CoRNR box motif (LFLII) and enhanced AR transcriptional activity. In contrast, a mutant SCD-CoRNR in which Leu136 was replaced by Ala had no effect on AR transcriptional activity. Moreover, SCD-CoRNR directly interacted with AR and inhibited RIP140 suppression of AR transactivation. Knockdown of the SCD gene by SCD microRNA suppressed AR transactivation with decreased cell proliferation, suggesting that SCD may regulate the proliferation of LNCaP cells via modulation of AR transcriptional activity. Moreover, ectopic expression of SCD in LNCaP cells facilitated LNCaP tumor formation and growth in nude mice. Together, the data indicate that SCD plays a key role in the regulation of AR transcriptional activity in prostate cancer cells.
