        Nickel(Ⅱ) nitrate hexahydrate를 전구체로 사용한 산화니켈(NiO) 나노입자의 합성

        Nickel oxide (NiO) nanoparticles were successfully synthesized by a simple liquid phase process for producing ceramics powder using a precursor impregnated with a nickel(Ⅱ) nitrate hexahydrate aqueous solution in an industrial pulp. The microfibrile structure of the precursor impregnated with nickel nitrate hexahydrate aqueous solution was confirmed by scanning electron microscope (SEM), and the crystal structure and particle size of nickel oxide (NiO) particles produced as the heat treatment temperature of the precursor were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and SEM. As a result, it was confirmed through XRD and SEM analysis that the temperature at which the organic material of the precursor is completely thermally decomposed was 495-500°C, and the size and crystallinity of the nickel oxide particles produced increased as the heat treatment temperature increased. The size of the nickel oxide particles obtained by heat treatment at 500-800°C for 1 hour was 50-200 nm. It was confirmed by XRD and SEM analysis that a NiO crystal phase was formed at a heat treatment temperature of 380°C, only a single NiO phase existed until 800°C. 질산니켈육수화물염(nickel(Ⅱ) nitrate hexahydrate) 수용액을 공업용 펄프에 함침시킨 전구체를 이용하여 세라믹스 분말을 제조하는 간단한 액상 합성법으로 산화니켈(NiO) 나노입자를 성공적으로 합성하였다. 질산니켈육수화물염 수용액이 함침된 전구체의 미세구조를 주사전자현미경(SEM)으로 확인하였고, 전구체의 열처리온도 증가에 따라 생성되는 산화니켈(NiO) 입자의 결정구조 및 입자크기를 X선회절분석(XRD) 및 SEM으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 전구체의 유기물질이 완전하게 열분해 되는 온도는 495-500°C이며, 열처리 온도의 증가에 따라 생성되는 산화니켈 입자의 크기 및 결정성이 증가하는 것을 XRD, SEM 분석을 통하여 확인하였다. 500-800℃에서 각각 1시간 동안 열처리하여 얻어진 산화니켈 입자의 크기는 50-200nm였다. 열처리 온도 380℃에서 NiO 결정상이 형성되고, 800℃까지는 NiO 단일상만 존재하며, 열처리 온도가 높아짐에 따라 생성되는 입자의 크기가 커지고 있음을 XRD 및 SEM 분석으로 확인하였다.

        Cobalt(II) chloride hexahydrate와 결정성 셀룰로오스를 출발물질로 사용한 산화코발트(Co3O4‧CoO) 초미세입자의 합성

        Cobalt oxide (Co3O4․CoO) ultra fine particles were synthesized by liquid phase precursor method. cobalt(II) chloride hexahydrate (CoCl2․6H2O) was as a starting material. A plant-derived crystalline cellulose was used as impregnating materials. A impregnated precursor was calcined at a temperature of 350 to 900°C to obtain cobalt oxide particles having a particle size of 1 to 10μm. The crystallization process and morphology according to the calcination temperature were examined, and the properties of the synthesized powder were evaluated using SEM and XRD. It was confirmed that a crystal phase of Co3O4 began to form around 350°C and crystal growth occurred up to 900°C. At a temperature above 500°C, the Co3O4 crystal was changed to another crystal phase CoO. CoCl2․6H2O 수용액을 결정성셀룰로오스에 함침시켜 건조한 후, 하소, 소성을 통하여 산화코발트(Co3O4․CoO) 초미세입자를 합성하였다. 합성된 코발트 산화물 입자의 결정구조 및 표면구조를 주사전자현미경(SEM)과 X-선회절분석(XRD)으로 조사하였다. CoCl2․6H2O 수용액을 함침시키는 매개체로 사용한 결정성셀룰로오스(crystalline cellulose)는 470°C 정도에서 열분해 되었고, Co3O4 결정상은 350°C에서 생성되기 시작하였다. Co3O4 결정상은 500°C까지 유지되었으며, 500°C 이상의 온도에서는 CoO 결정상으로 변화하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 열처리 온도가 증가함에 따라 산화코발트 입자의 크기가 커지는 현상이 나타났으며, 900°C 이상의 온도에서는 입자간 용융이 일어나는 것이 관찰되었다. 하소온도 700°C 이하의 온도에서 입자크기 2-10μm의 Co3O4와 CoO의 초미세입자가 생성되는 것을 확인하였다.

        폴리머 매트릭스를 전구체로 사용한 SrAl<sub>2</sub>O<sub>4</sub>:Eu<sup>2+</sup>,Dy<sup>3+</sup> 축광성 형광체의 합성 및 형광 특성

        [ $SrAl_2O_4:Eu^{2+},\;Dy^{3+}$ ] phosphor was synthesized using the impregnation method, and its photoluminescence and long-afterglow properties were investigated, A mixture of $Sr(NO_3)_2,\;Al(NO_3)_2\;9H_2O,\;EuCl_3\;6H_2O,\;DyCl_3\;6H_2O,\;NdCl_3\;6H_2O$ salts were dissolved in distilled water and impregnating into the polymer precursor. After drying, the impregnated mixture was heat treated at $900-1400^{\circ}C$ for 2h in a $N_2-H_2$ reduction atmosphere. The microstructure and crystal structure of the $SrAl_2O_4:Eu^{2+},\;Dy^{3+}$ powders were examined by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction, respectively. The photoluminescence spectra showed an excitation band along over wide wavelength of 250-450nm, and a broaden emission with a maxima peak at 360nm. In addition, the spectra also showed a good long after glow that decayed over a 1000sec period after 10 min excitation illumination.

The mixture of Sr(NO_(3))_(2), Al(NO_(3))_(2)·9H_(2)O, EuCl_(3)·6H_(2)O, DyCl_(3)·6H_(2)O, NdCl_(3)·6H_(2)O salts dissolved in distilled water and then impregnating into the polymer precursor. After drying the impregnated mixture, was heat treated at 900-1400℃ for 2h in N_(2)-H_(2) reduction atmosphere. Photoluminescence spectra showed a excitation along the wide wavelength of 250-450nm, and broaden emission with maxima peak at 360nm.         This study attempts to examine the problems of human dilemma in the aspect of existentialism in Joseph Conrads movels, especially in terms of such existential aspects as isolation, freedom, responsibility, and revolt. According to exsitentialism, man is alone in a universe in which nature is indifferent, love between man and woman is not a source of comfort, and God is dead or at least missing. Man is a "being-for-itself." who makes his own life authentic in the face of this absurd world. In the world of meaninglessness and absurdity, man is completely free to choose his own valuse and ways of life. But freedom of choice leads to anxiety because man does not know what the future will bring and the potential evil innate in human nature is always waiting to be revealed at any time. Man nonetheless has a positive outlook on life which can be called Authenticity. Conrad shares with such existentialists as Sartre and Camus the ideas that man is reponsible for his own life, that he can choose to live authentically, and that he can find his ultimate salvation in acknowledging and fulfilling his reponsibilities to his fellow men. Most of Conrad's main characters are depicted as isolated or alienated. In the extreme state of isolation or defeat, however, Conrad's protagonist seeks authentic selfhood despite his own anxiety and the absurdity of the world. Thus, even though he was not an existential thinker or writer, Conrad developed in his novels the themes of exstentialism, which has been called the representative philosophical thought of the 20th century. In that sense, Conrad is one of the creators of the twentiethcentury novel as well as one precursors of modern existentialism.
