Background:This study is conducted to determine the clinical efficacy of measurement of IL-6 concentration in cervical discharge as a biochemical predictor of preterm labor and PROM. Materials and Methods:Twenty-two pregnant women with preterm labor and 28 women with preterm rupture of membrane(PROM) between 20-36 gestational weeks were selected as study group, and 26 normal pregnant women were selected as control group. In both groups, following routine antenatal laboratory tests, concentration of interleukin-6(IL-6) in cervical discharge and amniotic fluid(in case of preterm labor and PROM) were estimated, and maternal C-reactive protein(CRP) level and WBC count were checked also. To compare the microbiological environment of both groups, Gram stain and culture of cervical smear were undertaken. 1) Results:There were no significant differences in maternal age, gravity, parity, gestational age at sampling, and prior preterm delivery, but there were significant differences in initial cervical dilation, effacement, cervicovaginal pH, and preterm delivery in each groups. The average IL-6 level of cervical discharge in women with preterm labor and PROM were significantly higher than control group (p<0.01). The distribution of women with preterm labor and PROM were significantly different from control group, when 186.7 pg/mL was selected as cutoff value(p<0.01). There was strong positive correlation between IL-6 concentration in cervical discharge and amniotic fluid IL-6 concentration (r=0.865, p<0.05). There was no significant difference in CRP in each groups. Maternal WBC count of PROM group at admission was higher than that of preterm labor and control group, but was not statistically significant (p=0.062). Gram (-) rods was detected frequently in women with preterm labor and PROM than control group (p<0.05). The distribution of microorganisms in cervical discharge in women with preterm labor and PROM were different from control group. Conlusion:The results of this study suggested that cervical IL-6 concentration could be used as an indicator detecting the high risk pregnant women who might develop preterm labor and PROM, and could be accepted as a noninvasive diagnostic marker of intrauterine infection.

The battery capacity of Green Car is larger than vehicles. Because of this, connector of Green Car should be designed to be high-electric power transmission. In addition, the electromagnetic waves to protection for communication and signal circuits should be shielding. In this study, shielding performance of connector through the analysis of electromagnetic shielding was analyzed and connector of Green Car capable of high-electric power transmission using thermo-electrical analysis was designed. The structure optimization for improved stability and workability of the connector for was also performed.
오공약침(蜈蚣藥針)을 사용한 통풍(痛風)환자 치험 3예(例)

Objective: The aim of this study is to report the effect of Scolopendrae Corpus Herbal-Acupuncture on three cases of gout. Methods: Scolopendrae Corpus Herbal-Acupuncture was administered one time per 2 days. Alter Herbal-Acupuncture administrated conventional body-acupuncture was performed. We evaluated the patients through Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Results: After the treatments, three cases of gout patients showed the improvement in VAS and various symptoms. Conclusions: According to the results, Scolopendrae Corpus Herbal-Acupuncture may have rapid effects on gout. But further studies are required to prove the effect of Scolopendrae Corpus Herbal-Acupuncture.
Zero-Crossing 복조기를 위한 0.5㎛ CMOS FM 라디오 수신기

본 논문에서는 Zero-Crossing 복조기에 적합한 88㎒에서 108㎒ 대역 FM 라디오 수신기를 0.5㎛ CMOS 공정을 이용하여 설계 및 제작하였다. 본 수신기는 Low-IF 구조를 기초로 설계되었으며, Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA), Down-Conversion Mixer, Phase locked loop (PLL), Low-pass filter (LPF), 비교기를 포함하는 RF/Analog 집적회로로 개발되었다. 측정결과 LNA와 Mixer를 포함하는 RF Block은 23.2㏈의 변환 이득과 입력 P1㏈는 -14㏈m였고 전체 잡음지수는 15 ㏈로 나타났다. IF단 LPF와 비교기를 포함하는 Analog Block은 89㏈ 이상의 전압 이득을 가지고, IC내부의 레지스터를 제어하여 600㎑에서 1.3㎒까지 100㎑ 단위로 Passband 대역를 조절할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 설계된 수신기는 4.5V에서 동작하며, 전체 전류 소모는 15.3 ㎃로 68.85㎽의 전력을 소모한다. 실험결과 성공적으로 FM 라디오 신호를 수신할 수 있었다. In this paper, a FM radio receiver integrated circuit has been developed based on 0.5㎛ CMOS process for Zero-Crossing FM demodulator over the 88㎒ to 108㎒ band. The receiver is designed with the low-IF architecture, and includes Low Noise Amplifier(LNA), Down-Conversion Mixer, Phase Locked Loop(PLL), IF LPF, and a comparator. The measured results of the LNA and Mixer show that the conversion gain of 23.2 ㏈, the input P1㏈ of -14 ㏈m, and the noise figure of 15 ㏈. The measured analog block of the LPF and comparator show the voltage gain of over 89 ㏈, and the IF LPF can configure the passband from 600㎑ to 1.3㎒ with 100㎑ step through the internal control register banks. The designed FM radio receiver operates at 4.5V with the total current consumption of 15.3㎃, so the total power consumption is about 68.85㎽. The commercial FM radio has been successfully received.

Objective : The aim of this study is to confirm if the intra-articular herbal-acupuncture exactly inserted into the joints by using fluoroscopy. Methods : An Oriental Medicine doctor inserted needle for herbal-acupuncture into intra-articular joint of elbow, wrist, knee and ankle with fluoroscopy or without fluoroscopy. Results : Needle was exactly inserted into elbow, wrist, knee and ankle by using fluorosopy, but it was not exactly inserted into the same point of joints without fluorosopy. Conclusions : Without fluoroscopy, the needle for intra-articular herbal-acupuncture was not exactly inserted into the joints. Further study is needed about intra-articular herbal-acupuncture.
그래핀 옥사이드(Graphen Oxide, GO)와 환원 그래핀의 (Reduced graphe oxide, R-GO)의 물리화학적 특성 연구

The manufacturing technology of composite material is applicable with filler characteristics maintaining low cost, flexibility, and easy process to develope the various functional composite materials. To realize functional composites, various researches on the high performance of composite materials using graphene as a filler is being actively conducted. In this study, physical and chemical properties were investigated using graphene to improve high functional properties. Graphene oxide (GO) was prepared using graphane nanoplatelet (GNP), and reduced graphene oxide (R-GO) was formed by reducing GO. The physical properties of GO and R-GO were analyzed, and the reliability of the manufactured method was reviewed by comparing that of GNP results. As a result of analysis by Raman spectroscopy, in the case of R-GO, it was confirmed that the intensity of D-peak and G-peak decreased compared to GO, and an increase of 0.08 was observed through the ratio of ID/IG. For the FTIR results, GO and RGO has a repeating C-C and C=C connection structure unlike GNP. GO and R-GO show clear peaks for C-O bond, C=C bond, C=O bond, and O-H bonding. As a result of X-ray diffraction analysis, GNP showed a wide diffraction peak at 25.86° of (002) plane characteristics, whereas GO and R-GO showed peaks corresponding to (001) and (100) planes. It was also found that the interlayer distance of GO increased by about 2.6 times compared to GNP.
