Adsorptivities, solid surface acidity, specific surface area, bulk density, electron microscopic observation etc. have been measured on the traces and investigated which are accompanied by the change of principal factors in manufacturing active carbon for liquid phase, activated with ZnCl₂. As a result, concerning the important operation factors of activation time, activation temperature, amount of ZnCl₂, amount of HCl, raw material size, active carbon size etc., the optimum conditions causing a good activation state were found out, and moreover, mechanisms of ZnCl₂ and HCl adding effect, activation, and overactivation are clarified. The correlation of each factor of solid surface acidity, specific surface area, pore distribution etc. to adsorptivity, and the significance of measuring bulk density also are brought to light.

기저대역 채널선택 필터는 외부의 잡음이나 공정상의 변화에 따라 각각의 통신 채널을 선택하기 위해 인가되는 제어 전압이 변동될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 제어 전압을 일정하게 유지시키기 위해, 전류의 흐름을 감지하여 채널선택 필터의 차단주파수가 자동으로 조정되어 필터 동작이 원활하게 유지되면서 최소 면적을 갖는 전류 비교 방식 전압 안정화 회로를 설계하였다. Control voltage for baseband channel selection filter to select one of communication channels can be easily fluctuated according to external noise or variation of fabrication. In this paper, we design a voltage regulator with small chip area to keep control voltage constantly using current comparative method. Cut-off frequency of channel selection filter is automatically controlled by detecting current flow using the proposed voltage regulator.
Bandwidth-Efficient Precoding Scheme for Downlink Smar t Utility Networks

The emerging smart utility networks (SUN) provide two-way communications between smart metersand smart appliances for purpose of low power usage, low cost, and high reliability. This paper dealswith a bandwidth-efficient communication method based on the hidden pilot-aided scheme using aprecoder in downlink SUN suitable for high-rate multimedia applications. With the aid of the design ofa precoder and a superimposed hidden pilot, it is possible to estimate the channel without loss of bandwidth. In the channel estimation procedure, the inevitable data interference, which degrades the performanceof channel estimation, can be reduced by the precoder design with an iterative scheme. Computersimulations show that the proposed scheme outperforms the conventional method in terms of achievabledata rate, especially when a large number of subcarriers are employed.
