One of the important problems which interest many scholars in political science is the indigenization of democracy to the political system in developing countries. Actually, most of the developing countries, except a few, violate freedom and human rights in the name of democracy. From this point of view, a study of Korean voting behavior and political orientation may be helpful in understanding Korean democracy in that democracy and election have a close affinity with each other. The thesis attempted here is to inquire into the general theory of election and, at the same time, to make an attempt to analyze the relationship between election and democracy based upon the Korean political situation, which we hope will contribute to the understanding of the meaning of democracy in Korea. The scope of this study covers, firstly the correlation of the influence between voting patterns and political situations in Korea from the emancipation of Korea from Japanese rule in 1945 to 1967, and secondly Korean voting behavior and political orientation. To supplement the discussion, theoretical and statistical analyses are widely used throughout the thesis.

In the last ten years, the nature of the international political system has been transformed. The rigid bipolar system of the 1940's and 1950's has clearly given way to the fluidity of a new era of multilateral diplomacy. In this new era, the African states have greatly increased their international activities-particularly at the United Nations, in a number of its associated organizations, and in various regional organizations in the world. Because of the transformation taken place in the international political system and of the increased roles played by the African states within and without the framework of the World Organization, Korean government is increasingly concerned with the nature and variety of diplomatic activities of these African states. The present study grew out of that concern. It aims at broadening and deepening our understanding of the contemporary Africa and its political attitudes toward Korea. The study attempts to find patterns of international activities and underlying sets of political attitudes which are supportive of their generally consistent voting behavior on the Korean question at the United Nations. Furthermore, what this study has done amounts to a series of predictions as to the probable future policies, strategies and objectives of the African states in the international political system, the predictions which are largely intended to provide a set of policy alternatives for Korean government with regard to the questions of Africa and the United Nations.

This purpose of this study was to design the effect of recovering of a hand amputees by Myoelectronic hand. It was designed with 2 degree of freedom in the laboratory. Myoelectronic hand had only one degree of freedom and one movement until now. Also this myoelectronic hand had multi-joint and it could move widely. Wire was used in transmission. Myoelectronic hand data was obtained by analyzing hand anatomically and measuring and that data was applied when it was designed. PID controller of Myoelectronic hand was used to it. Displacement control was applied the first link. Experiment was accomplished in Tip grasp, Power grasp and Hook grasp modes. Displacement control was good in low frequency. Velocity control was applied to each mode. The objective of the study was to develop more better multifunction myoelectronic control strategies. A myoelectronic hand with a hand amputees could do some jobs such as grasping materials, lifting weighting, holding cup and etc. As a result of this study, all subjects with hand amputees significantly improved in ADL. Further studies were needed to evaluate the effect of a myoelectronic hand with more precise laboratory equipment.
옥상조경용 경량 토양의 혼합비와 토심이 3가지 자생초화류의 생육에 미치는 영향

Focusing on native plants that have a high possibility of being introduced as extensive rooftop material, this study was conducted to realize extensive and easy-to-manage rooftop gardens and to raise the utilization of native plants by verifying their growing response to soil media and depth. Its result is as follows: 1) In the case of Chrysanthemum zawadskii, the top growth was better in sandy loam than in P$_1$V$_1$P$_2$, and P$_1$V$_1$P$_3$, but the mortality rate was high, making it unsuitable soil. Regarding soil depth the mortality rate was lower in 10cm than in 5cm, and it grew well in 10cm. When using it for rooftop gardens, it would be desirable to keep the minimum viable soil depth over loom. 2) In the case of Sedium middendorffianum the mortality rate was 0% regardless of soil media and depth making it very suitable material for rooftop garden. Although the flowering rate was somewhat lower in P$_1$V$_1$P$_2$, and P$_1$V$_1$P$_3$ than in sandy loam, the mortality rate was low and the root growth was good. Therefore, provided that fertilizing is managed well, it is a plant that can be highly utilized. 3) In the case of Allium senescens, the mortality rate was 0% regardless of soil or soil depth, making it a very suitable plant for extensive rooftop gardens. Although top growth was poorer in P$_1$V$_1$P$_2$, and P$_1$V$_1$P$_3$than in sandy loam the root growth was good. Therefore, provided that fertilizing is managed well, it is a plant that can be highly utilized. In conclusion the study revealed that suitable species for extensive rooftop gardens are Sedium middendorffianum and Allium senescens. However, Chrysanthemum zawadskii can be utilized greatly when fertilizing is managed regularly in artificial mixed soil over l0cm.

We propose a novel multi-stack (MS) technique for a compact and wideband electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structure in high-speed multilayer printed circuit boards. The proposed MS technique efficiently converts planar EBG arrays into a vertical structure, thus substantially miniaturizing the EBG area and reducing the distance between the noise source and the victim. A dispersion method is presented to examine the effects of the MS technique on the stopband characteristics. Enhanced features of the proposed MS-EBG structure were experimentally verified using test vehicles. It was experimentally demonstrated that the proposed MS-EBG structure efficiently suppresses the power/ground noise over a wideband frequency range with a shorter port-to-port spacing than the unit-cell length, thus overcoming a limitation of previous EBG structures.

In this paper, we present wideband common-mode (CM) noise suppression using a vertical stepped impedance electromagnetic bandgap (VSI-EBG) structure for high-speed differential signals in multilayer printed circuit boards. This technique is an original design that enables us to apply the VSI-EBG structure to differential signals without sacrificing the differential characteristics. In addition, the analytical dispersion equations for the bandgap prediction of the CM propagation in the VSIEBG structure are extracted, and the closed-form expressions for the bandgap cutoff frequencies are derived. Based on the dispersion equations, the effects of the impedance ratio, the EBG patch length, and via inductances on the bandgap of the VSI-EBG structure for differential signals are thoroughly examined. The proposed dispersion equations are verified through agreement with the full-wave simulation results. It is experimentally demonstrated that the proposed VSI-EBG structure for differential signaling suppresses the CM noise in the wideband frequency range without degrading the differential characteristics.
어머니의 취업유무에 따른 격리불안과 양육죄책감이 양육행동에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of mother's separation anxiety and parenting guilt feelings upon parenting behaviors among working and non-working mothers. The subjects of this study comprised 209 mothers of 12 to 48 month old children who were attending kindergartens located in Chungbuk. The data thus collected were analyzed by means of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Cronbach's α, t-test, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchical regression analysis using the SPSS 12.0 program. The results of this study were as follows: First, it was found that separation anxiety and parenting guilt feelings had significant effects on their parenting behavior among both nonworking and working mothers. Second, the interaction effects of separation anxiety and parenting guilt feelings were significant on working mothers' over-protective parenting behavior. It is noteworthy that the effects of mother's parenting guilt feelings on negative parenting behaviors was stronger among nonworking mothers than working mothers, which implies that the effect of mother's psychological factors on their parenting behavior may be different according to their employment status.
