        성서 본문의 언어학적 연대 결정 연구사

        The present study is a survey of scholarship on the linguistic dating of biblical texts. Avi Hurvitz has sought to establish a dating method for biblical texts on the basis of linguistic data. He has argued, first, that linguistic change in Biblical Hebrew (= BH) during the exile was so decisive that Early Biblical Hebrew (= EBH) of the pre-exilic period is clearly distinguished from Late BH (= LBH) of the post-exilic period; and, second, that, since EBH and LBH are distinct both in form and chronology, one can date biblical texts by using linguistic data only. Hurvitz’s method soon became a standard in the scholarly guild, and Hurvitz himself and other younger scholars produced studies that attempt to date biblical books/texts on linguistic grounds. These studies have treated, for example, the J source, the P source, Ezekiel, individual psalms, the prose portion of Job, Qoheleth, Esther, and so forth. Since 2003, a challenging voice crystallized through a succession of publications: an essay collection entitled Biblical Hebrew: Studies in Chronology and Typology (2003), volumes 46 and 47 of Hebrew Studies (2005-2006), and Ian Young, Robert Rezetko, and Martin Ehrensvärd’s Linguistic Dating of Biblical Texts (2008). The challenging voice, represented by Young, Rezetko, and Ehrensvärd, has argued the following: first, EBH and LBH are not completely distinct in form and chronology, though it is true that they are not identical. Second, EBH and LBH should rather be considered stylistic options from which the post-exilic biblical writers were free to choose. Third, accordingly, it is impossible to date biblical texts on the basis of linguistic data only. The present study, first, introduces Hurvitz’s method of linguistic dating and surveys the studies of Hurvitz himself and his followers; second, it examines the challenging voices against Hurvitz’s method; and, third, it discusses two of the most recent attempts published in 2012, Diachrony in Biblical Hebrew, edited by Cynthia Miller-Naudé and Ziony Zevit, and Dong-Hyuk Kim’s Early Biblical Hebrew, Late Biblical Hebrew, and Linguistic Variability, and probes their significance in the debate. 본 논문은 성서 본문의 언어학적 연대 결정 연구사이다. 본 소고가 개관하는 연구는 언어학적 연대 결정 방법론을 확립한 후르비츠의 연구, 후르비츠의 방법론을 받아들인 학자들의 연구, 후르비츠의 방법론에 대해 도전하는 최근의 연구, 그리고 사회언어학적 방법론을 사용하여 두 입장 사이의 화해를 모색하는 김동혁의 연구 등이다.

      • 2LJ-7 Systems knowledge base for a promising methane bioconversion platform

        Methanotrophs play an important role in biotechnological applications, with their ability to utilize single carbon (C1) feedstock such as methane and methanol to produce a range of high-value compounds. A novel obligate methanotroph, Methylomonas sp. DH-1, became a platform strain for biotechnological applications because it is capable of producing chemicals, fuels, and secondary metabolites from methane and methanol. The genome of Methylomonas sp. DH-1 consists of one 4.86 Mb chromosome and one 278 kb plasmid, pDH1. In order to make Methylomonas sp. DH-1 more attractive for metabolic engineering, 1. we have updated the genomic annotation, 2. we have reconstructed the metabolic network Methylomonas sp. DH-1, and 3. we tried to reconstruct the transcription unit for the strain. Based on this knowledgebase, we also compared the transcriptome data when grown on methane and methanol to investigate activated C1 assimilation pathways.

      • EM방법을 활용한 지반함몰 위험지역 예측에 대한 기초연구

        최근, 장기간의 집중호우 및 장마로 인하여, 상대적으로 구조가 불안정한 보도 하부에 공동이 발생하여, 상당수의 지반함몰이 발생되었다. 또한 내진·지질학 전문가들에 따르면 최근 잦아진 지진이 지반연화에 영향을 미쳐 지반함몰 현상이 더욱 늘어날 수 있다고 경고하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 지반하부에 존재하는 공동을 EM방법을 활용하여 미연에 탐지함으로써, 인적·물적 피해를 최소화하고, 시민의 안전을 도모하고자 한다. 지반하부 공동 탐사에 이용되는 기존의 방법들은 탐사시간이 지나치게 길거나, 포장에 파손을 야기하고, 좁은 지역에서는 탐사가 불가능한 단점이 있다. 하지만 EM방법의 경우 탐사시간이 비교적 짧고, 비접지식이기 때문에 포장에 파손도 야기하지 않으며, 좁은 지역에서의 탐사도 가능하기 때문에, 본 연구에서는 보도, 공원도로, 이면도로 등 좁은 지역에 대해서 EM방법을 활용하여 지반함몰 위험지역 예측에 대한 기초연구를 진행하고자 한다. 기존에 사용되는 EM방법은 터널탐사 및 매립지 오염도 탐사에만 이용되고 있었기 때문에, 체코 GF Instrument사의 EM장비인 CMD Mini Explorer를 이용하여 기반하부 공동 탐사를 위한 실험을 진행하였다. 공동탐사 이외의 외부조건을 통일하기 위해서 나대지에서 실험을 진행하였으며, 기존 지반상태, 공동 모사상태, 공동 및 금속 모사상태에서 각각 탐사를 진행하였다. 탐사 결과, 금속의 존재유무와 관계없이 공동 위치에서 전기비저항 이상대가 나타났으며, 되메움 작업 시 다짐상태에 따라 일어난 지반의 교란이 층 형태의 전기비저항 분포로 나타났다. 따라서, EM방법은 공동 탐사에 있어 충분한 성능을 가지고 있으며, 금속에도 큰 영향을 받지 않는다는 것이 확인되었고, 연약지반에 대한 탐사에도 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다.

      • Eco-Friendly Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells Based on Water-Electrolytes and Chlorophyll

        Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) are high efficiency, low cost, and easy fabrication renewable energy devices. Many DSSCs are using organic solvent electrolytes, which are toxic and explosion hazard, and expensive ruthenium dye such as N3 and N719. Here, we made eco-friendly DSSC by replacing organic electrolyte to water-based electrolyte. Also, organic synthetic dyes can be replaced by chlorophyll extracted from spinach. The effect of aging time after the device fabrication and the electrolyte composition on the photovoltaic performance of the eco-friendly DSSCs were investigated. Plasma treatment of TiO₂ was adopted to improve the dye adsorption as well as the wettability of the water-based electrolytes on TiO2. Making DSSCs, using aqueous electrolyte and chlorophyll, can make more eco-friendly energy devices.

        손실함수의 형태를 고려한 생산자 규격한계의 결정

        Taguchi regarded the concept of quality as ‘total loss to society due to fluctuations in quality characteristics from the time of supplied to the customer.’ The loss function is a representative tool that can quantitatively convert the loss that occurs due to the deviation of the quality characteristic value from the target value. This has been utilized in various studies with the advantage that it can change the social loss caused by fluctuation of quality characteristics to economic cost. The loss function has also been used extensively in the study of producer specification limits. However, in previous studies, only the second order loss function of Taguchi is used. Therefore, various types of losses that can occur in the process can’t be considered. In this study, we divide the types of losses that can occur in the process considering the first and second loss functions and the Spiring’s reflected normal loss function, and perform total inspection before delivering the customer to determine the optimal producer specification limit that minimizes the total cost. Also, we will divide the quality policy for the products beyond the specification limits into two. In addition, we will show the illustration of expected loss cost change of each model according to the change of major condition such as customer specifications and maximum loss cost.

        생산자규격을 고려한 소비자만족품질지표의 개발

        Process Capability ( Cpk) is a representative measure of how well the producer manages dispersion and bias for the specifications needed by the consumer. This is expressed as a ratio of 6 times the natural tolerance to the specification. As the producer manages the dispersion small, the capacity index becomes higher. And it is classified into 5 grades according to the degree of management. It is a measure of the quality of processes used in most industrial fields. However,  Cpk is calculated by only reflecting the mean and dispersion of the process, there is a disadvantage that it can not give information about the economic loss caused by the inconsistency of the process with the target value. Overcoming these drawbacks, process capability indexes reflecting various types of loss functions such as  Cpm,  C+pm  and  Cpl have been developed. However, all of these previous studies have applied the limit to the consumer specification, which is based on the traditional and passive quality perception that the quality characteristic should exist within the limits of the consumer specification. In this study, we will develop ‘Customer Satisfaction Quality Indicator (CSQI)’ which is a quantitative indicator that can be fully evaluated when the manufacturer’s specification limit, which is an aggressive quality strategy, is applied. This is expected to be useful decision information for both producers and consumers.
