논문 : 『시경(詩經)』『큰 쥐(碩鼠)』와 김시습의 「큰 쥐」 비교 연구

본고는 김시습(金時習, 1435∼1493)의 「큰 쥐(碩鼠)」와 『시경(詩經)』 「큰 쥐」의 비 교 연구이다. 김시습의 「큰 쥐」는 『시경』「큰 쥐」에 바탕을 둔다. 따라서 김시습이 『시경』의 어떤 전통을 자각적으로 계승했는지, 그와 동시에 어떤 창의적인 전변(轉變)을 이루 었는지, 김시습의 「큰 쥐」는 『시경』「큰 쥐」에 비해 어떤 변별적인 특징을 갖는지 등등을 구체적으로 밝히기 위해서는 두 작품 간의 비교 고찰이 필요하다. 비교 연구의 궁극적인 목표는 현실 비판시를 새롭게 인식하기 위한 연구 방법을 모색하는 것이다. 과거에 민족문학론이 힘을 얻었을 때 현실 비판시에 대한 연구는 활기를 띠었지만 이제는 그렇지 않다. 본고는 이런 상황에서 현실 비판시를 『시경』이라는 고전적 전통과의 관계 속에서 재인식하기 위한 시도이다. This is a comparative study on Kim si-seup(金時習, 1435∼1493)`s ``Big Mouse``(碩鼠) and the poetry of the same title included in the Book of Poetry(詩經). Kim`s ``Big Mouse`` is based upon ``Big Mouse`` of the Book of Poetry. Therefore, it is necessary to compare these two works in order to explain how Kim appropriated the literary tradition of the Book of Poetry, and what the peculiarity of Kim`s ``Big Mouse`` is. The ultimate aim of this study is to investigate new methodology which can help new understanding of critical poetry written in classical Chinese during Choseon period. When the realistic literary theory based on counter-nationalism got wide consent, many scholars studied the critical poetry written in classical Chinese during Choseon period. But such studies are seldom found nowadays. This study is an attempt to reconsider critical poetry written in classical Chinese during Choseon period in relation to classical tradition.

강용흘의 『동양, 서양으로 가다』에 나오는 코스모폴리탄 멜랑꼴리아

This paper aims to explore Young Hill Kang’s East Goes West with thematic inquiries of so-called cosmopolitan melancholy. East Goes West, written in 1937, has been acclaimed as a harbinger of Korean American fiction though in numerable aspects it has raised serious questions of its themes and characters due to dominating geographical, ideological judgments. This paper, avoiding falling into the pit of politically bipolar understanding, maintains that the characters, Chungpa Han and Dowan Kim, are allegorical figures unfolding their cosmopolitan melancholia as political unconsciousness persevering in the most capitalistic urban space in the U. S. Alienation, reification, exile, diaspora, and melancholia form a constellation of allegory reflecting characters’ unstable identity, resistance to assimilation to capitalistic culture, and interstitial obscurity confronting imperialism and intricate machine of capitalism in the U. S. as well as global space. As theoretical scaffoldings, to explore melancholia as both creative force and ideological fantasy, this paper uses Sigmund Freud’s idea of the difference between mourning and melancholia, Walter Benjmain’s understanding of Baudelaire’s themes?flaneur, poetic hero?and melancholia as galvanizing source of creativity. Embracing these themes and theoretical ideas, the paper consists of three parts: First, it throughly analyzes Chungpa’s melancholia using Freud’s theory of melancholia focusing on ideological fantasies of cosmopolitanism; In turn, using Benjamin’s understanding of flaneur in Baudelaire’s poetry, it delves into the limit of Chungpa’s recognition of capitalistic system as a symptom of his melancholia; Last, focusing on Dowan Kim’s eternal exile and his suicide, the paper suggests power of melancholia as creativity.

신체유물론적 시각에서 본 심대윤의 ‘노동 옹호 윤리학’

본 논문은 신체유물론적 시각에서 심대윤(沈大允, 1806-1872)의 복리사상(福利思想)을 탐색한다. ‘신체유물론’은 말 그대로 인간의 ‘몸’, 인간의 동물성과 신체 활동에 주안점을 둔 것이다. 흔히 심대윤의 복리사상은 이익 추구를 인간의 자연스러운 본성으로 긍정한 것으로 알려져 있다. 그런데 이익을 산출하는 것은 노동 행위이고 노동은 곧 육체 행위이다. 따라서 ‘이익 추구’보다 선차적 중요성을 갖는 것은 ‘몸’과 ‘노동’이다. 본고는 인간의 ‘몸’과 ‘노동’에 대한 심대윤의 사유에 주목하여, 일단 심대윤 자신의 노동 체험을 다각도로 분석한 다음, 심대윤의 ‘육체 긍정 사상’ 및 ‘노동 옹호 사상’을 살펴보고, 심대윤 사상의 서민적 지향을 두루 조망한다. 이런 사상적 면모는 제작자의 유물론적 감수성 및 생활 감각을 투영한 것으로 판단되는바, 인간의 육체성 및 신체활동에 대한 풍부한 사유를 내장하고 있다는 점에서 주목된다. This paper explores the welfare ideas of Shim Dae-yun (沈大允, 1806-1872) from the perspective of soma-materialism. Soma-materialism focuses on the human body, animality and physical activity. It is frequently mentioned that Shim regarded the pursuit of profit as a human nature. But it is labor that produces profits and labor is a physical act. Therefore it is body and labor that have preponderance importance over profit-seeking. Focusing on Shim’s ideas about human body and labor, this paper first analyzes Shim’s own labor experience from various perspectives, then examines Shim’s thought of body and labor, and investigates traces of mentality of ordinary people and working-class projected in Shim’s thought. Through these discussions, it is judged that Shim’s thought has various ideas about human body and show materialistic consciousness well.

An analytical electron microscope system has been widely used in biology, medicine, veterinary medicine, agriculture, and materials, etc. nowadays in Korea Market since mid of 1980's. How to install and to choose the equipments? The answers are which prerequisites are needed to us. The purpose is going to introduce the prerequisites of the pre-installation and installation of Philips analytical electron microscope(CM 12/STEM and SEM 515, Philips, The Netherlands) in the National Institute of Safety Research, Seoul and to discuss the check-subjects. The check-subjects in the pre-installation and installation are more than 24. The influence of magnetic fields, mechanical vibrations, earth is crucial factor for decision of installation site. The areas of our electron microscope center are $105.6m^2$ and have the Automatic Image Analyzer System(IBAS, Kontron Co., Germany) connecting to the SEM mode. Water temperature was controlled by the NESLAB recirculatory chillers(NESLAB Co., U.S.A.).

Objective : The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of near acupuncture point needling and remote acupuncture point needling on treating ankle sprain of acute stage. Methods : From March 1st, 2007 to May 30th, 2007, the 50 patients who had visited Iksan oriental medical hospital, Wonkwang university with acute ankle sprain were divided into 2 groups ; one group took near acupunture point needling, and the other group took remote acupunture point needling. Both group had been treated with the same additional rest, ice, compression and elevation(RICE) therapy. To evaluating the efficiency of each treatment, Visual Analog Scale(VAS) and Ankle-Hindfoot Scale(AHS) were applied before 1st treatment and after 3rd treatment. Results : As a result of evaluation by using AHS, the score change comparison between the two groups had no significance after the treatment. As a result of evaluation by using VAS, treatment score of remote acupucture point needling was marked lower than score of near acupucture point needling. Conclusion : Remote acupucture point needling is more effective than near acupucture point needling in controlling the pain of acute ankle sprain.

Actinomycosis involving the female genital tract has increased since the advent of the intra-uterine contraceptive devices (IUD) : the incidence of actinomyces in IUD users with pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) was reported to be between 17% and 30%. However a definte relationship between actinomyces and PID has not been demonstrated as yet. We present a case of pelvic actinomycotic infection that was initially diagnosed by means of fine needle aspiration. A 57-year-old female presented with urinary frequency and difficulty for 100 days. Computerized tomographic findings showed a mixed heterogenous soft tissue mass in the left superior aspect of urinary bladder. Fine needle aspiration was done under the impression of urinary bladder cancer. Microscopically, smears disclosed many sulfur granules in necrotic background with many neutrophils, histiocytes, multinucleated giant cells and granulation tissue. These findings were confirmed by surgical removal of the mass.

This paper aims to explore relations among life and art in Theresa Hak Kyung Cha’s Dictee via an overarching form of constellation. After discussing how Dictee has been reviewed in Asian American studies, I propose a third way to overcome the traditional directions of scholarship, cultural studies and avant-garde poetics. This third way uses Benjamin’s idea of constellation. Adopting ‘constellation’ to find ideas over the fragmentary forms and Cha’s diasporic life, this paper first analyzes picture images in Dictee to trace the voices from ossified victims, mostly Korean women, in history. In turn, this paper delves into deep origins hidden under unfathomable “name” as pure language to communicate with history and reified beings. Names of Greek goddess such as Demeter and Persephone and the myth of this mother-and-daughter relationship function as a device to find Irigaray’s forgotten female ancestry and Khora as the origin in Dictee. Khora as a name of female sexuality also becomes what Julia Kristeva calls semiotic chora from formalistic perspective. This Khora as the origin of female sexuality and ancestry as well as unnameable name of relations among spaces in which chaos of victims occur corresponds with another name of the origin in the East, namely Dao(道). Before the end of this paper, I explore a possible connectivity between Khora in the West and Dao in the East within the constellation of Dictee.

택당(澤堂) 이식(李植)의 명청 교체기 자타인식(自他認識)

본고는 택당(澤堂) 이식(李植, 1584~1647)의 ‘자타인식’(自他認識)을 탐구한다. 택당은 ‘한문 사대가’로 꼽히는 문장가로, 명청 교체기에 주요 외교문서 작성을 맡았다. 그거대한 전환기에 조선 지배 엘리트는 어떤 대응을 했으며, 그 대응은 어떤 사상적 특징을 갖는가? 택당의 사례를 통해 이 문제에 대해 고찰하는 것이 본고의 목표다. 본고는 다음 세 가지에 특히 유의한다. 첫째, ‘청’(淸)과 조선에 대한 인식이 어떻게 상호 연계되면서 ‘자기인식=타자인식’으로서의 ‘자타인식’을 형성하는지에 주목한다. 둘째, 기존에 알려진 간본 『택당집』(澤堂集) 외에도 필사본 『택당유고전집』(澤堂遺稿全集)과 『택당유고간여』(澤堂遺稿刊餘)를 적극 활용하여, 택당의 새로운 면모를 조명한다. 셋째, ‘주화’(主和)와 ‘척화’(斥和)의 이분법에 구애되지 않고 그 사이의 다양한 층차를 고려하면서 택당의 ‘자타인식’을 다층적으로 파악한다. 그런 뒤에 그 계승 양상을 가늠함으로써, 조선후기 지성사에 대한 전망을 넓힌다. 이상의 세 가지에 유의하면서 본고는 택당의 유연한 대청인식, 냉철한 현실인식, 반성적 자기인식 등을 다각도로 분석한다. I investigate T"aektang(澤堂) I Sik(李植, 1584~1647)’s inter-subjective consciousness of Chosŏn and Qing Dynasty. T"aektang, who is regarded as one of ‘Four Great Writers of middle period Chosŏn’(漢文四大家), undertook writing of various diplomatic documents in Ming-Qing transitional period. By analyzing the case of T"aektang, I aim at the reflective review of the ruling elites’ ideological response to the great transformation of Ming-Qing transitional period. Especially, I pay attention to the interrelationship between the self-consciousness of Chosŏn and the recognition of Qing Dynasty. To shed light on various aspects of T"aektang’s inter-subjective consciousness, I use two kinds of manuscript collections of T"aektang’s writings as main text. As for T"aektang’s writings, printed edition T"aektangjip (澤堂集) is well-known and generally referred as main text. But there are manuscript collections of T"aektang’s writings such as T"aektangyugojŏnjip (澤堂遺稿全集) and T"aektangyugoganyŏ(澤堂遺稿刊餘) as well. These two manuscript collections are helpful for new understanding of T"aektang. To recognize T"aektang’s thoght anew, it is also needed to reconsider the dichotomy of ‘the advocacy of negotiation’(主和論) and ‘the rejection of negotiation’(斥和論). Keeping these points in mind, I focus on the complexity of T"aektang’s inter-subjective consciousness.
