In oriental medicine, the skin of the face and the body is the mirror of the viscera and bowels. Skin aging is measured according to the elasticity and glossiness of the skin, which is perceived as a matter of fluid-humor within the realms of oriental medicine. Fluid-humor refers to normal body fluid that makes the skin moist and supple and the hair bright and glossy. If the body is lacking fluid-humor, the hair and skin will be dry and coarse. ``The improvement of fluid-humor (nutrition)`` is facilitated based on the oriental physiological change theory for middle-aged women. A new study is therefore necessary to develop oriental herbal cosmetics for young women in their 20s. As yet, there has been no study on the effect of herbal cosmetics formulated for middle-aged women and used by young women in their 20s. This study aims to investigate the effect of ``the improvement of fluid-humor`` for the skin of young women in their 20s within the theory of oriental medicine. This kind of study is essential for oriental skin care and the development of diverse oriental herbal cosmetics. To determine the effect of oriental herbal cosmetics on young women in their 20s based on the theory of oriental medicine, which says that a shortage of fluid-humor causes skin aging, this study has examined the skin conditions of young women in their 20s and how satisfied they are with oriental herbal cosmetics through an objective equipment-based measurement and subjective questionnaire survey.

The formative procedure of five-viscera has been explained for the restriction[相克: 已勝] and the reverse restriction[相侮, 勝已] in five phase theory on the medical literatures from ancient times. In the formative procedure of five-viscera, it would seem that two theories are mutually contradictory. But this problem is solved in the view: As the upward, downward movement and the circulation progress, five-viscera and five-bowels develop. In brief on the formative procedure of human viscera and bowels, first, the circulation of five-viscera and five-bowels forms three phase of upper-middle-lower(fire-earth-water), and these phases generate Triple energizers[Samcho, 三焦], consequently it is to be five-viscera and six-bowels, to be formed `Meridian and collateral [Gyeongnak, 經絡]` in that order. The triple energizers is situated in middle stage of formation of `Vicera` and `Meridian and collateral` on developing stage. It would be thought that Triple energizer meridian[Susoyangsamchogyeong, 手少陽三焦經] is formed in procedure of Meridian and collateral after formation of upper-middle-lower of the triple energizers.

가다머의 해석학적 순환이론을 통한 무용창작 프레임과 상호작용

이 연구는 한스 게오르그 가다머의 해석학적 순환이론을 차용하여 디지털매체를 활용한 창작과정을 텍스트화 하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이러한 텍스트 작업은 내가 무용수와 안무가로서 경험한 과거의 창작과정을 이해하고 탐구함으로써 가능할 수 있었다. 나의 창작과정을 탐구하고 분석하는 행위에 있어서 가다머의 해석학적 순환이론은 이론적인 바탕과 철학적인 근거로 활용되었으며, 디지털매체인 영상편집프로그램과 음악작곡프로그램은 작품을 분석하고 움직임을 탐구하는 도구로 활용되었다. 또한, 가다머의 해석학적 순환이론과 디지털매체를 실제 안무에 적용하여 그 창작과정을 분석하고 기술하였다. “나의 움직임 재현하기”에서 나의 과거의 춤과 안무에 대하여 기술하였으며, 이러한 과정을 통해 나의 움직임과 창작과정을 가다머의 해석학적 순환이론과 함께 상호보완적 연속성이 존재하는 반성적 구도를 유지하면서 기술할 수 있었다. 가다머의 해석학적 순환이론은 과거와 현재에 존재하는 나의 춤과 창작물에 대한 접근방법을 전체와 부분으로 나누어 관찰할 수 있는 이해의 도구로 활용되었다. 영국 안무가와의 협업작품 < Unplugged Bodies >의 창작과정을 분석함으로써 디지털매체를 활용한 무용창작과정에 대한 연구의 가치를 기술할 수 있었다. 이후, 디지털매체를 활용한 창작과정을 철학적으로 이해하고 접근하기 위해 가다머의 해석학적 순환이론을 차용한 무용창작과정에 대하여 분석하였다. 그리고 가다머와의 조우를 통해 자기반성적 태도를 가지는 안무자의 능동적 반성 체계를 이끌어 낼 수 있음을 기술하였다. 이러한 모든 과정을 거치며 가다머의 해석학적 순환이론과의 상호작용으로 안무되어진 나의 작품 < Empty Project >의 창작과정을 다양한 관점에서 분석하고 기술할 수 있었다. 나아가 가다머의 해석학적 순환이론과 디지털매체가 어떠한 형태와 방법으로 상호작용을 하였는지에 대하여 기술하였다. 또한, 가다머의 해석학적 순환이론을 바탕으로 무용창작과정에서 발견된 상호작용인 나와 무용수, 나와 디지털매체, 나와 참여자 그리고 나와 해석학적 순환이론의 관계를 분석하였다. 이를 통해 내가 주체가 되는 창작과정을 연행적으로 기술하였고, 이러한 연구의 결과로 나만의 창작프레임을 발견할 수 있었다. 해석학적 창작 프레임은 관찰, 분석, 편집, 반성, 적용이며 이와 같은 요소들이 비순차적으로 창작과정에 나타나는 것에 대하여 기술하였다. 나의 이야기를 기반으로 한 창작과정을 이해하고 자기반성적 견해로 접근함으로써 가다머의 해석학적 순환이론과 디지털매체를 활용한 창작과정의 결과는 새로움을 창조하는 예술가와 안무자에게 모종의 타당성을 인식시켜 새로운 매개체를 통한 창작과정의 접근을 제시할 수 있었다. The purpose of this research is to textualise creative processes with a digital medium by adopting Hans Georg Gadamer’s so-called ‘hermeneutic circle’. This texualisation made it possible to understand and explore the previous creative processes that I experienced as a dancer as well as a choreographer. In terms of evaluating and analysing the processes, Gadamer’s hermeneutic circle functions as the theoretical foundation and philosophical basis, and also video editing and music composing programmes were utilised as a tool to examine art works and to investigate movements. Besides, this paper analyses and describes how Gadamer’s hermeneutic circle and the digital medium were applied into the actual choreography. From “Reproducing My Movements”, descriptions of my dance and choreography in the past are shown. Through such step, I was able to evaluate my own movements and creative processes with the theory of Gadamer’s hermeneutic circle by maintaining the self-reflective structure that exists in the complementary continuity. Gadamer’s hermeneutic circle was used as an understanding tool to examine the relationship between the parts and the wholes towards my dance and creative works in the present and past. Analysing the creative process of < Unplugged Bodies >, which is a cooperative work with British choreographer enabled me to recognise the value of the study on the creation process of the dance with the digital medium. In order to understand and approach to it philosophically, this paper investigates the whole process borrowed from the theory of Gadamer’s hermeneutic circle. Moreover, through the encounter with Gadamer, it was feasible to pay attention to an active self-reflective system in which choreographers can bring critical attitudes. Going through all the procedures gave me an opportunity to scrutinise and transcribe the work < Empty Project > I choreographed with a concentration on the interaction with Gadamer’s hermeneutic circle from the various point of view. Furthermore, this study states which forms and what methods allow Gadamer’s hermeneutic circle and the digital medium to be interactive to each other. In addition to this, it analyses the relationships between the self-dancers, the self-digital medium, the self-participants, and the self-hermeneutics coming from the interaction founded in the creation processes of the dance based on the theory of Gadamer’s hermeneutic circle. Herewith, the creative processes becoming the self, are described performatively, and by the benefit of this research result, my own frames for the dance creation are discovered. It has shown that the hermeneutic creative frames consist of observation, examination, compilation, reflection, and application: these factors appear non-sequentially. By understanding the creation processes grounded in my own story and accessing them in the self-reflective views, the outcome from the creative processes using the theory of Gadamer’s hermeneutic circle and the digital medium can offer new approaches to creative processes through a vehicle for making artists and choreographers searching for newness aware of a certain validity.

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus(SLE) is an autoimmune disease invading the skin, joint, kidney, intestinal membrane, neurosystem and other organs. SLE is an autoimmune disease characterized by immune dysregulation resulting in the production of antinuclear antibodies(ANA), generation of circulating immune complexes, and activation of the complement system. In Korean medicine, lupus can be classified as acute arthritis, reddish butterfly erythema, asthenic disease, edema and so on. The cause and procedure of the diseases are flourishing noxious heat, excessive fire due to deficiency of yin, blood stasis due to stagnation of qi, internal movement of the liver-wind, congenital deficiency, exhausted vital-qi, which are treated by clearing away heat and cooling the blood, nourshing yin and extinguishing fire, treating flatulence and activating blood circulation, nourishing the blood to expel wind, invigorating the liver and kidney, invigorating qi and replenishing the blood. To experimentally examine the influence of Insam-Buja-Tang (Ginseng & Aconiti Extract, IBT) on the outbreak and development of lupus, lupus induce MRL/MpJ-Faslpr lupus-prone mice model was used. As IBT was orally administrated to a lupus model mouse, various tests such as the weight, urine protein, renal function, Lymph cell test of the spleen, Cytokine expression, histopathological analysis of kideny were performed to see the influence on the kidney and whether it work effectively on the immune function. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of IBT on MRL/MpJ-Faslpr lupus-prone mice model. The effect of IBT on MRL/MpJ-Faslpr lupus-prone mice that can have autoimmune disease similar to SLE in human was evaluated after IBT per oral in the present study.

대전 지역 유통 식용 한약재의 잔류농약 실태 연구

This study was conducted to investigate the residue amount of pesticide on the 41 medicinal herbs in Daejeon area. This study was carried out to monitor the current status of pesticide residues in commercial medicinal herbs for sale of food use in 2012. It was performed using GC/ECD, GC/NPD, HPLC to analyze pesticides residues. Residues of 283 pesticides were analyzed by a simultaneous multiresidue method in 41 medicinal herbs being on sale in Daejeon. The medicinal herbs detected pesticides in 10 of 41 cases, showed a detection rate of 24.39%. The medicinal herbs which exceed the maximum residue limit were five cases as Cnidii Rhizoma, Osterici Radix, Artemisiae Capillaris Herba, Zizyphi Fructus and Alismatis Rhizoma. And pesticide residue of Cnidii Rhizoma and Alismatis Rhizoma exceeds the limit standard presented in only medicine use of KFDA. The residual pesticides which had the high detection rate were Chlopyrifos, Tebuconazole and Endosulfan in the detection of medicinal herbs. For further research, standards of Pesticide Residues in medicinal herbs should be added and more research of pesticide residues in medicinal herbs required. And standards of pesticide residues in medicinal herbs should be applied equally as medicines and food.

망진에서 바라보는 화장문화의 심리학적 접근

This study is to identify culturally the psychological effect of men and women`s make-up, to examine men and women`s tendency toward make-up and to figure out relationships between their psychological properies and its functions in modern society for the psychological analysis of Inspection(望診). This study has verified that makeup has a positive effect on their interpersonal relationships, psychological reation and self-confidence as well as it meets their fundamental aesthetic needs. The makeup of the psychological action on men and women is different as eroticism, feminism and etc. The social and cultural backgrounds of make-up are the needs of a variety of fashion, trend of public opinion, a cultural difference and etc. And further studies about psychological reason why they wear makeup need to be made. Makeup has an effect on their looks and it has a psychological effect of being able to decorate and move their mind. Finally, it is anticipated that the study for psychological approach to makeup could contribute on the study for positive makeup treatment and basic foundation of Inspection(望診) and physiognomy(觀用) in Oriental medicine.
