그림책을 활용한 문학 활동이 영아의 언어 능력 및 의사소통 능력에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 그림책을 활용한 문학 활동 프로그램이 영아의 언어발달에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 영아의 발달과 흥미에 적합한 11권의 그림책을 선정하여 문학 활동 목표를 기준으로 이해 및 감상하기, 비평하기, 창작하기의 프로그램을 개발하고, 대전시에 위치한 영아전담 어린이집 2세반 실험집단 영아를 대상으로 8주간 주 3회씩 총 24회에 걸쳐 그림책을 활용한 문학 활동을 실시하였다. 그 결과 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단의 영아의 언어능력과 의사소통능력 점수가 비교집단에 비해 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 이에 그림책을 활용한 문학 활동프로그램이 영아의 언어능력 및 의사소통 능력을 증진시키는데 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of the literary activity program using picture book on infant's language development To examine this, literary activities included using 11 books suitable to the infants' stage of development and interests, as well as focusing on three different literary activities, namely appreciating, criticizing and recreating the books. The subjects were 2 year olds at an infants only child care institute in Daejeon City. Tests ran from August 6th to September 28th 2012, three times a week for eight weeks. Thus, a total of twenty-four tests were undertaken. The results for the experiments were as follows. It was found that the literary activities used had a positive effect on the infants' language skills and communication skills, In conclusion, the infant's language and communication skills were improved by using picture books in literary activities implemented in this research.
