유채의 협열개에 관한 기초자료를 얻고자 strain gauge를 이용하여 예취 후의 건조 중에 있는 유채 양질의 협열개 난역도를 측정하였던 바 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 협실의 발육에서 협은 개화 후 3-4일째에는 육안으로 볼 수 있었으며, 협장은 20일째 중에, 종자의 장경은 35일째에 최대에 달했고, 40일째 쯤에는 종자가 거의 구형으로 되었으며, 45일째 쯤에는 협의 굵기가 최대에 달했다 2. 예취 후의 협실수분함량의 추이는 예취 당시가 70%였고 house내에서 5일정도 건조한 결과는 30%에 달했고 14일째까지는 10%정도였다 3. 협열개 난역도는 협실수분함량이나 상대습도에 대응한 일변화가 보였으며 협실수분함량 및 상대습도가 낮을 수록 협열개가 어려웠다. Pod dehiscence in six rape varieties drying after harvest in the field was investigated with use of strain gauge. The development of rape pods was observed after 3-4 days of flowering. The length of pod and seed reached of their maximal size at the 20th and 35th days after flowering, respectively. The seed shape was nearly spherical 40 days after flowering, and pod width was maximal at the 45th days of flowering. Moisture content of seeds was 70% at cutting time, reduced to 30% at 5 days of drying in the plastic film house and 10% at 14 days. Pod dehiscence showed a diurnal change with moisture content of pods and relative humidity, and the dehiscence became difficult under low moisture content of pods and relative humidity of which seems to be related to the rapid drying condition of pod.

In the culture of transparent vinyl mulching, black vinyl mulching and non mulching, growth, yield, and storage quality are studied to get a basic material for onion culture and high storage quality bumper crop in the reign of the South. And the results are following. Growth rate, number of leaves, plant height, leaf sheath length and leaf sheath diameter are best in the case of the transparent vinyl mulching, and bulb diameter, height, weight per plant, and yield per 10a are increased in the case of transparent vinyl mulching. But putrefaction in period of storage management lowered at the non mulching with 2.2-4.7% than transparent vinyl mulching 9.3-18.6% and black vinyl mulching with 12.5-21.0%. Estimating on the chemical analysis of onion, K_2O with 2.55-2.63% and CaO with 0.28-0.30% are increased in the case of high storage quality in non mulching.

期象環境이 골풀收量및 收量構成形質에 미치는 影響을 알기위해 1969年 부터 1978年 까지의 最高,平均,最低등의 氣溫과 同 期間에 栽培한 品種들의 收量을 비롯한 重要 收量構成形質間의 關係를 調査한 結果 골풀 栽培 期間동안의 氣象要因中 3,4月의 平均氣溫과 最低 氣溫이 生育에 크게 影響을 미치고 있으며 그중 催高 氣溫은 絶對的인 要因이 되었다. 3,4月의 最高氣溫과 收量및 收量形質間,平均氣溫과 收量및 收量形質間에는 高度의 正의 相關으로 有意性이 높았고 最低氣溫과 收量및 收量形質間에는 負의 相關을 나타내었다. 結局 南部地方의 골풀 栽培는 3,4月의 最高 氣溫과 平均氣溫은 높고 最低氣溫이 높지 않을수록 收量이 增收 되었다. To investigate the effects of weather environment of the quantity of Mat Ruch and the character composing thd quantity, the relations of maximum,mean and minimum temperatures, the quantities of species cultivated during thd same period and the characters composing the quantities are examined and the results are summarized as follow. 1. Of weather factors during the cultivation period of Mat Rush, the mean and minimum temperature of March and April affect greatly the growth and among them, the maximum temperature is an absolute. 2. There is high positive correlation among thd maximum temperature and quantities of March and April and the characters of quantities and it shows a high significance. 3. The mean temperature and quantities of March and April and thecharacters of the quantities show the positive correlation and the minimum temperature and quantities and quantitative characters show the negative correlation. 4. The cultivation of Mat Rush in the southern regions is increased when the maximum temperature and mean temperature of MArch and Apil are high and the minimum temperature is not high.
