      • 1차원 충돌 동역학 해석을 이용한 한국형 고속전철의 충돌사고 안전도 평가

        In this study, the crashworthiness of KHST has been evaluated by analysing a nonlinear spring/bar-damper-mass model of 1-dimensional collision dynamics. The numerical results show that KHST can easily absorb kinetic energy at lower impact force and acceleration in heavy collisions, when compared with KTX. Also, in a Light collision like a traint-to-train accident at lower speed under 8 kph, the carbody and components of KHST can be protected without any damage except the energy absorbing tube to be replaced easily. However, KTX may be much damaged in the light collision because there is no energy absorbing tube. In conclusion, the crashworthy performance of KHST has been much improved than that of KTX, although there are something to be improved for a better crashworthy performance

      • 경량전철 대차 선회프레임의 정적강도와 피로특성의 분석

        The rotating bogie frame is used in the bogie for a Light Rail Train under development in Korea. In development of the bogie, the structural strength and fatigue characteristics of the rotating bogie frame have been evaluated under the predefined load cases according to the Korean standards for a urban EMU. No part of the rotating bogie frame was subjected to stress beyond the fatigue endurance limits of the material used when grinding the welding of the lower plate link. It is concluded that the rotating bogie frame is safe in view of its static and fatigure strength.

        TGV-K 전체 차량의 충돌안전도 해석 연구

        Described in this paper is the result of a study on collision analysis of TGV-K using 1-dimensional model for crashworthy design. Crashworthy design of the front end is very important because majority of the impact energy (more than 70%) is absorbed by the crush of the front end when the train is collided with an obstacle like a tank lorry. Guideline for the crashworthy design can be described from the collision analysis of the whole train using a 1-dimensional model. Since the headstock of TGV-K is not designed in a crashworthy point of view, a conceptual design of the headstock to improve crashworthiness is suggested and evaluated using 1-dimensional collision analysis. The suggested design, which adopts an energy absorber and a crashworthy headstock, shows a good behaviour on the accident scenario of SNCF (collision at 110 km/h against a movable rigid mass of 15 ton).

      • 보강된 복합재 쉘구조의 좌굴강도 개선을 위한 직교배열 이용 설계방법

        본 연구에서는 Taguchi 방법에 사용된 직교배열 이용 실험 계획법에 의한 최 적화 방법으로 보강된 복합재 쉘 구조의 좌굴강도 최적화를 수행하고 타당성을 고찰하 였다.한 방향의 압축하중을 받는 단순 지지된 복합재 평판과 Cut-out을 가진 원통 형 판넬의 보강재 및 섬유방향 최적 설계에 본 방법을 적용시켜 본 결과, 현저한 설계 개선과 아울러 각 설계 변수가 좌굴강도에 미치는 영향을 파악할 수 있었다. 특히 이 방법은 함수의 미분값을 이용한 민감도 해석대신에 함수값의 평균치 분석(ANOM)및 분산 분석(ANOVA)을 사용하기 때문에 설계변수의 변화에 덜 민감한 설계를 얻을 수 있 다.

        한국형 표준전동차 전체차량의 충돌안전도 해석 연구

        In this paper, numerically evaluated is the crashworthiness of the new design of the standard Korea Electric Multiple Unit Train(K-EMU)[developed by the Korea Railway Research Institute]. The 4-car consist of K-EMU is analyzed under collision conditions such as normal coupling, heavy shunting, light collision and heavy collision to collide against another stationary one at 5 kph, 10 kph, 25 kph and 32 kph, respectively. Energy absorbing capacity of its draftgear commercially available in the market and to be equipped in K-EMU is evaluated under each collision condition. Analytical results show that draftgear only is not enough to provide necessary energy absorbing capacity. It is therefore concluded that additional energy absorbers like mechanical fuses should be adopted to improve the crashworthiness of K-EMU.

        1차원 동역학 모델을 이용한 한국형 고속전철의 충돌 안전도 평가

        One of the best methods to evaluate crashworthiness of a full rake trainset is to analyse 1-dimensional dynamic model using dampers, nonlinear springs and bars, and masses. In this study, the crashworthiness of KHST has been evaluated by analysing a nonlinear dynamic model made up of springs/bars-dampers-masses. The numerical results show that the KHST can absorb more kinetic energy at lower impact forces and lower accelerations in case of heavy collisions, if compared with KTX. Also, the KHST can be protected from any damage in its car-body and electric components except the energy absorbing tube in case of light collisions, like train-to-train accidents at speed under 8 kph. On the other hand, the KTX may be more damaged in the light collisions because there is no energy absorbing tube.

        1920년대 나혜석의 농촌풍경화 연구

        In the liberal atmosphere of Taish? period of Japan during her studying in Japan, Hye-suk Nah(1896-1948), the first woman painter of the modern times of Korea and women’s liberation activist, formed her own artistic idea through accepting an aesthetic anarchism which was the trend. The engraving works she published in the magazines called the “Gyebuk(meaning The Dawn of Civilization in Korean)” and “Gongjae(meaning Cooperation in Korean)” such as “Gaechukja(meaning Pioneer in Korean)” and “Jojo(meaning Early Morning in Korean)” have visualized a new image of farmers based on the Tolstoyism of liberating and awakening of ego through sacred labor as well as a construction of a community through such and on the mutualism. As her husband, Woo-young Kim, was appointed to be a vice-consul of Andong Consulate in September 1921, Hye-suk Nah moved to Manchuria. Then, she grasped reflections of Korean residents who migrated to Manchuria to avoid the suppressions of Japanese Imperialism in her works such as 〈Nongga (meaning Farmhouse in Korean)〉(1922), 〈Bomi Oda(meaning The Spring Has Come)〉(1922), and 〈Bongwhangsan(meaning Mountain Bongwhang in Korean)〉 (1923). Her landscape paintings of farms has combined the cultivation which is a labor act that proves a life of farmer and the vitality of the nature(land) to present a new model of peasant art in the 1920s. Although the works of Hye-suk Nah during this period are distinguished from the landscape paintings of farms in the 1930s that are the pastoral and bucolic, they do not necessarily reflect the reality of the impoverished farms as the ones KAPF art advocated. What was important to Hye-suk Nah was not revealing the impoverished reality but having an awakening of ego and a converting of will as power to convert such an impoverished reality. And she captured the trend of new era of concept of labor of Tolstoy and mutal aid of anarchism in her landscape paintings of farms.

      • 고무차륜 경량전철의 충돌안전도 연구

        In the standard specifications for the urban EMU (Electric Multiple Unit) train, there are several items to ensure safety against accidents. The 21st to the 23rd items have much to do with the crashworthiness of the urban EMU train. In this study, a rubber-tired Automated Guide-way Transit (AGT) System under development by KRRI is numerically evaluated from the point of view of crashworthiness by applying the above crashworthiness items. The numerical results show that the design of the AGT satisfies the 22nd and 23rd items. But a design modification to adopt mechanical fuses is recommended to reduce impact accelerations with respect to the 21st item.
