Since discovery of word superiority effect, many students have tried to prove word shape effect. Nevertheless, word shape effect has never been corroborated yet. Bonyoung Koo indicated one of the reasons of fail to prove word shape effect is from narrow interpretation of whole image of word, mentioned as potent factors of word shape effect. He formulate hypotheses that stroke density also works as one of factors of whole image of word and proved it. However, it was possible that unexpected factors affected his experiment. The text that the stroke density was strengthened stands out visually. Consequently, this study prepared an experiment to cut off unexpected factors; the darkness of the parts of strokes was manipulated according to stroke density. As the result of the experiment, the text that stroke density effect was exaggerated was more readable than that was reduced(P>0.05). Although it was not enough to prove stroke density effect, the stroke density effect is supported by the experiment, considered with the precedent studies on the hypotheses. 단어우월효과의 발견 이래 100여 년간 서구의 연구자들은 단어윤곽인지론의 증명을 위해 다양한 연구를 진행해 왔으나, 아직까지 확증적 결과는 나타나지 않고 있다. 구본영은 단어우월효과에서 도출된 단어의 총체적인 이미지에 대한 잘못된 해석이 단어윤곽 인지론이 정립되지 못한 원인의 하나로 판단하였다. 그는 획밀집도 역시 단어의 총체적인 이미지를 결정하는 요소로 판단하고 실험을 통해 증명한바 있다. 그러나 그의 획밀집도 인지실험에 사용된 획밀집 강화형 문장은 본문이 배경에 비해 두드러져 보이는 효과가 나타나, 실험목적 외적요인이 개입했을 가능성이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 외적요인의 개입가능성을 차단하기 위해 획밀집 영역과 그 외 영역의 획의 명도를 달리하여 독서 수월성 실험을 실시하였다. 그 결과 통계학적으로 유의한 차이는 나타나지 않았으나, 획밀집효과 강화형 문장의 독서속도가 약화형보다 높게 나타났다. 이 결과를 선행연구결과와 함께 해석 하면 획밀집도 역시 단어의 인지요인으로 작용할 가능성이 매우 높다고 판단된다

1. Library practice education in Korea is in the form of field experience, that is , Practicum, which is one type of field experience. 2. The practicum is a shout-term work experience guided by the academic institutions. (2 to 6 weeks of full time employment in a library, or one to two semesters of approximately 10 to12 hours. weekly) 3. Field work is largely accepted as a required subject. 4. Field work is usually carried out during the first semester of senior year. (or of sophomore year in junior college) 5. Libraries in other universities (or in other institutions) can beused for a student's field work. But the current tendency is to use his or her own university's library. 6. Most universities give one credit for 2 week' field work. 7. The method of evaluation is strict: A or "excellent" (above 90), B or "good" (above 80), C or "fair" (above 70), D or "bad" (above 60). 8. The expense of field work is usually included in the tuition fees. However, some think that an additional fees should be collected in the case of special practice. 9. Respondents to my survey 'say that the field experience is necessary so that professional librarians can connect theory and practice. 10. They also indicate that there are some problems in library practice education: administrative difficulties in the department chairman's office, the burden on professors in the library being used, and the limited unmber of libraries in which the field work is practicable. 11. The Department of Library Science is responsible primarily for providing faculty supervision over the students, and secondarily for the preparation of evaluation cards and field work reports. 12. Most of the faculty respondents use evaluation cards for the field work, some of which serve as grade sheets, some as field work diaries, and some as field work reports
주택점유형태와 주택유형에 따른 주거지역의 특성에 관한 연구

TIn this paper, an attempt, has been made to identify and account for the main characterstics and housing tenure of the residential areas in two satellite cities. An important feature of the tenure system within the study-area relates to the distribution of household by income level between owner-occupied and rented accommodation. There is a relationship between tenure and flat size, i.e. owner-occupied households have higher income and a relatively larger flat than households in rented accommdation. The analysis of the occupational status of owner-occupied household heads indicates that the majority are white collar office workers and professionals. For the last 20 years, the flat which is a new type of accommodation has been grown significantly in urban areas. This phenomenon is an important factor in understanding the characteristics of urban housing tenure and the residential socio-behavioral pattern. In order to present an comprehensive set of alternatives for a future housing policy in satellite cities, the following measures appear to be essential : (1) The housing supply for the owner-occupation should be balanced with rental accommodation for the low income groups. (2) The government's effort should be directed to preserving and improving the existing stock, (3) The real emphasis on state-developed housing for sale emerged from a growing emphasis on owner-occupation. The public housing authorities have to try to produce low-cost housing for rent to meet the demand of the urban poor.

이 논문의 목적은 SELIS(SEoul Women's University Library and Information System) OPAC 시스템에서 키워드와 불연산자 탐색이 어떻게 처리되는지에 대한 이용자의 이해를 분석하는데 있다. 연구문제를 통하여 분석한 결과 SELIS OPAC시스템이 처리하는 키워드 추출에 대한 이해도는 전체 298명에서 정답자 67명$(22.48\%){\cdot}$오답자 231명$(77.52\%)$, 키워드탐색에서 불연산자 OR 사용에 대한 이해도는 전체 297명에서 정답자 115명$(22.48\%){\cdot}$오답자 182명$(77.52\%)$, 키워드탐색에서 불연산자 AND 사용에 대한 이해도는 전체 296명에서 정답자 98명$(33.11\%){\cdot}$오답자 198명$(66.89\%)$, 불연산자 사용방법 및 연산자 심볼에 대한 이해도는 전체 285명에서 정답자 109명$(36.49\%){\cdot}$오답자 181명$(63.51\%)$으로 전체적으로 이해도가 저조한 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 SELIS OPAC 시스템에서 키워드 탐색 경험에 따라 키워드 탐색 이해도에 차이가 나는지를 분석한 결과 유의수준 $5\%$에서 상관관계가 없는 것으로 분석되었고, 불연산자 탐색 경험에 따라 불연산자 사용방법에 대한 이해도는 유의수준 $5\%$내에서 상관관계가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. It Is the purpose of this research to analyse users' understanding how keyword and boolean search work in SELIS(SEoul Women's University Library and Information System) OPAC. Results of analyses of the subject, SELIS OPAC system processing, are: comprehension percentage of keyword extraction is $67(22.48\%)$ out of total 298 persons, no comprehension is $231(77.52\%)$ understanding of boolean OR In keyword search appears $115(22.48\%)$ out of 297, no understanding does $182(77.52\%)$ : comprehension of boolean AND is $98(33.11\%)$ out of 296, no understanding appears $198(66.89\%)$ understanding of using boolean and symbols is $109(36.49\%)$ out of 285, no understanding is $181(63.51\%)$ which Is lower percentage generally. And in SELIS OPAC system, in Intentional analyses to see any difference in understanding of keyword search between experience of keyword search or no, It shows no difference in interrelation $5\%$ level of significance, but In boolean search it does in interrelation $5\%$ level of significance.

현재 학국의 대학사회는 안팎으로 거센 도전을 받으면서 변화와 개혁의 소리가 높다. 한국 대학 개혁의 방안으로 학부제(School Program)의 추진 논의가 진행되고 있는 가운데, 과연 문헌정보학과의 진로는 어떻게 설정해야 바람직한 방향으로 갈 것인가를 검토하였다. 다가오는 정보화사회에 대처해 나갈 문헌정보 전문직의 특성과 역할 그리고 교육의 변화를 살펴보고, 학부제에 대한 교수들의 찬성과 반대 의견을 수렴한후, 현재 학부제를 실시하고 있는 3개 대학교의 교육과정을 조사 하였다. 한국 문헌정보학 교수 139명에게 설문지를 보낸 결과 92명(66%)이 응답했고 그중 학부제 찬성이 42명, 그리고 학부제 반대 45명으로 나타났다. 학부제 찬성 모형안은 「학과중심형 학부제」가 44%로 가장 많다. 이안은 현재와 같은 학과중심으로 운영하되 커리큘럼 기자제 등의 영역만 공동활용하거나 협약교수제를 운영하면서 공동교재활용과 제한된 복수전공제도를 도입하는 형태이다. 학부제 도입을 반대하는 이유는 「문헌정보학과는 학문의 성격상 다른 학과와는 통합되기 어렵다」는 이유를 가장 많이 지적하고 있다 At present, Korean universities and colleges are confronted with a strong challenge, within and without, demanding a drastic change or innovation of university education. Discussion on the propulsion of the School Program is now under way as one of the means to reform the university education. With such a background in mind, we have considered what should be the desirable course of Library and Information Science in Korea. We have considered the characteristic features and roles of library and information professionals to cope with the now approaching information society and the changing conditions of educational environment. We have collected the pros and cons among professors of the School Program, and investigated the curricula of the three universities which are at present practicing the School Program. Of the 139 professors to whom we have sent the questionnaries, 92(66%) responded, of which the pros were 42 and the cons were 45. The model plan for the School Program is 'departmental school program'(44%), which purports to adopt 'departmental school program', with the curricula and material resources being utilized in common, or to adopt joint-appointment system, with the common utilization of teaching materials and the introduction of a limited dual major system. The argument against introduction the School Program was that because of the peculiar nature of the discipline itself, Library and Information Science can not be merged with any other discipline

The material properties of laser welding zone such as strength coefficient, work-hardening exponent, and plastic anisotropic ratio are analytically obtained from those of base metals based on the tensile tests. The finite element formulation is developed for predicting strain distributions and weld line movements in the forming processes of laser welded blank. The welding zone(WZ) is modelled with the several, narrow finite elements whose material characteristics are based on the experimental results and the analytical equations. In order to show an application of the developed weld element, the stamping process of auto-body door inner panel is simulated. FEM predictions are compared and showed good agreements with experimental observations.
