Characteristics of the interface between tube and tube sheet which were formed by explosive expansion and roll expansion, have been studied in the research. The results are as follows: Optimum amounts of explosives for the expansion of Alloy 600 (19.05mm and 15.88mm) were found to be RDX 3.5-8.5g/m. Because explosive expansion caused les strain hardening and increased bounding strength, characteristics of the explosively expanded were better than those of mechanically expanded. As the transition region of the explosive expansion is inactive, the resistance to the stress corrosion cracking increases by 30∼40% compared to the roll and hydraulic expansion.
반도체용 Contact Metal 의 열화에 관한 연구

In order to investigate degradation of contact metals which is critical to the time to failure of devices, various Al-Cu-Si alloys were chosen, exposed to H₂, N₂, O₂ atmospheres at 550℃ and examined by conventional optical, scanning electron, transmission electron microscope and X-ray diffractometer. Also, the effects of moisture and Cl to these atmospheres were studied. Alloys consisted of fcc Al matrix and tetragonal Al₂ Cu precipitates. No degradation was observed by SEM when alloys were exposed to O₂ gas, but a considerable amount of degradation was observed when exposed to N₂ + H₂ atmosphere. Thin films of Al oxide, which were continuous and seemingly protective, formed when exposed to O₂ atmosphere. But continuous films were not found when exposed to N₂ + H₂ gases. The addition of water vapor to these gases enhanced degradation. This was due to the aqueous galvanic corrosion around Al₂Cu precipitates. The effect of addition of Cl to these gases was to accelerate degradation.

자기유도(Self-induced) 편광타원축 회전을 분석하기 위하여, 광학적 비선형 상호작용의 밀도 연산자로 표현되는 Double-sided Feynman 도표 방법이 도입되어 주파수 의존도를 고려한 ?? (-ω,ω,ω,ω)가 유도하였다. Double-sided Feynman diagrams, which trace the evolution of the density operator in time during nonlinear optical interaction, are used to analyze the process of self-induced polarization ellipse rotation. Frequency dependence on ?? (-ω,ω,ω,-ω) of self-induced polarization ellipse rotation is studied.

A sbestos-containing materials are mainly used in nuclear power plants as thermalinsulation materials, and others are also ceiling materials and wall materials. In particular, nuclearpower plants built between the 1970s and 1990s are at risk of overexposure due to the widespread useof asbestos. In the case of Kori Unit 1, which was built completely in July 1978, Radioactive Asbestos-Containing Materials (RACM) still partially exist in the containment building. In case of RACM, handlingis more difficult, and the risk increases further due to the radioactivity along with the hazard of asbestositself. However, it is true that most of the guidelines for the decommissioning focus on radioactivity andare not relatively concerned with the non-radioactive risk factors. Therefore, in this paper, a reasonabletreatment method (High temperature melting) is established based on the current management statusinvestigation on the types, characteristics, and hazardous treatment methods of Radioactive Asbestos-Containing Waste (RACW). Afterwards, the amount and reduction rate of RACW at Kori unit 1 is evaluatedbased on the theoretical and experimental background. In addition, it is confirmed that the final wasteform generated through the high-temperature melting method is suitable for disposal based on theresults of the hazardous substance removal and solid waste test requirements.
