최근 무선 네트워크 기반 실시간 원격제어에 대한 관심이 크게 증가하고 있다. 무선 네트워크를 통하여 실시간 원격 제어를 구현하는데 있어서, 중요한 요소들 중 하나가 실시간 제어메시지의 지연시간 성능이다. 특히, 주기적으로 송신되는 실시간 제어메시지의 안정적인 수신을 위해 지연시간 지터를 줄이는 기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 제어메시지를 무선 네트워크에서 운용 하는데 있어서 지연시간 지터를 감소시키는 동기화 전송을 제안한다. 제안된 동기화 전송은 송신노드와 무선통신기 간의 동기화를 바탕으로 적절한 전송시점을 제어하여 실시간 제어메시지가 항상 정해진 시간에 무선 네트워크를 통하여 전송 되도록 한다. 군용무인차량 시스템을 이용한 실험 결과에 따르면, 제안된 동기화 전송은 지연시간 지터를 일반 전송 방식의 지연시간 지터의 32% 수준으로 감소시켰다. Nowadays, there are significant interests in real-time remote control using wireless networks. In implementing real-time remote control, one important factor is delay performance of real-time control message. Especially, the technique to reduce jitter of delay is necessary in transmitting periodically real-time control message. In this paper, we proposed synchronized transmission to reduce jitter of delay, when real-time control message was transmitted through wireless networks. The proposed transmission kept synchronization between source node and wireless transmitter and controlled transmission instance to transmit real-tie control message with fixed delay in wireless networks. According to results of experiment in military unmanned vehicle system, the proposed transmission reduced jitter of delay as 32% as that of a non-employing case.
소규모 유선/무선 네트워크에서 실시간 제어 메시지 전송방안

Nowadays, there are significant interests in real-time remote control using a small sized wired/wireless networks, especially in the dangerous field such as battlefield and disaster scene. In real-time remote control, one of important factors is the delay of real-time control messages. While wired networks do not make a performance degradation in transmitting real-time control message, wireless networks make performance degradations in jitter of delay. In this paper, we proposed method to transmit real-time control message in small sized wired/wireless networks. The proposed method designed a wireless frame and a message transmission period and employed synchronized message transmission to transmit control message with fixed delay. The proposed method was applied to military unmanned system and evaluated performances by examinations. According to results of examinations, the proposed method reduced jitter of delay as 30% as that of conventional system.

High-capacity video, control and situation awareness data should be transmitted efficiently to control robots properly in the ground unmanned system, which requires the technology maximizing the communication range and the data transmission throughput. This technology is connected to the OFDMA(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access)-MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) transmission technology under the limited bandwidth and transmission power. In this paper, we design MIMO communication system for ground unmanned systems, and investigate the data reception performance experimentally, comparing with SISO(Single Input Single Output) system. Experiment results show that the data reception performance of MIMO is significantly improved compared to that of SISO, e.g. 4dB gain of sensitivity and 5dB of SNR at the value MPR = 1, for the mobile stations with $2{\times}2$ STBC diversity.
