        Not only were Chinese characters used through three-nations period and Koryeo Dyansty, but used as principal characters even after Hangeul was invented in the Chosun Dynasty. In other words, they were official characters in the past Korean dynasty. Hoon Min Jeong Eum(Hangeul) invented by King Sejong was originally intended to represent the sound of chinese characters and had the objective of using both Korean and Chinese characters, instructing Hangeul to common people who were supposed to use Chinese characters. In fact, Hangeul was not intended as an only language at the time. It is a well-known fact that Chinese characters occupy 70% of Korean vocabulary and nearly 90% in the academic terminology. We should also have capability to read and write the Chinese characters to understand the ways of life in the past because our history has been written in the Chinese characters. In addition, there are so many homonyms in Hangeul that we may fail to convey the appropriate meaning when writing characters only in Hangeul. However, Chinese characters have their own meaning in each character, so learners should memorize substantial characters and they could be confused at the similar-looking characters, which makes learners avoid learning them. Hyoungsungja occupying most of the chinese characters is made by combining two more characters in which one part represents overall meaning and the other the sound and specific meaning. Therefore, we first need to master the boosoos representing meaning and the sound part which can lead us to undestand the connections among characters. This way makes us keep characters in memory in the long term memory in an accurate and correct manner. There are many occasions that similar pronunciations cause the same meaning. For this matter, we can apply the learning strategy which is correct and fast if we classify the characters which have the similar sound part and learn them through association activity. The sound parts of Chinese characters are classified as three different cases: the first is the case without any sound variation, another is the case applied by the changed first sound, and the third is the case applied by the changed middle and ending sound. This study looked into the process in which how the original sounds of Chinese characters was changed and stabilized to the current sounds through their introduction to Korea. In order to acquire any characters, it is important to know first and associate them after reading them, which makes the study of the sound pattern of Chinese characters more meaningful than anything else.

        The change of the accounting system in local governments to double-entry bookkeeping system as a way of the national financial reform, aims at improving efficiency and responsibility over the provincial budget operation by providing related stake holders with the financial and fiscal statements in compliance with accounting standards. Over the past decade since 1999 has a series of progress been made in development of accounting information system and its experimental implementation with a few revisions of accounting regulations and double-entry bookkeeping system. In this regard, the study is to investigate whether or not the revised accounting standards have been appropriately put into practice to act as a controller for the accounting information system in local governments, while providing rational ways for the system to work properly. The literature surveying along with analytical review over the preliminary studies was made to achieve the directives in this study-focusing on related papers, provisions and regulations concerned, journals and yearly books published by the governmental authorities, let alone internet searching data and governmental documents and files. As a result, it could be verified that the accounting information system in the local governments has evolved with incremental progress in line with accounting standards, accordingly being accompanied with bilateral revision and amendment in a manner of making system's configured elements controllable fit for the system's objective.

      • 산화저밀도지단백질에 의한 KyoT 2와 Fortilin의 발현 변화

        (Abstract) It has previously been shown that skeletal muscle LIM protein 1 (SLIM1), a member of LIM-only protein, is found to change its expression levels by cholesterol-loading in culture medium in aortic smooth muscle cells (A10 cells). The SLIM 1 exists in two isoforms, KyoT 2 and SLIMMER. The KyoT 2 contains two and a half of LIM and RBP-J binding domains that interacts with the transcription factor, Notch. During skeletal muscle differentiation, over-expressed KyoT 2 interacts with Notch and binds to the promoter region of MyoD to suppress its expression. The level of KyoT 2 is changed by oxLDL-loading in A10 cells, suggesting a potential relationship between KyoT 2 and atherogenesis. Fortilin, a recently characterized small protein, is expressed abundantly in the normal tissue. It is also implicated to be involved in important cellular processes, such as cell growth, cell cycle progression, malignant transformation and in the protection of cells against various stress conditions. In this study, total RNAs from A10 cells transfected with KyoT 2 were allowed to hybridize with human oligo DNA chip (34K) in order to find out the genes affected by the KyoT 2. Among many genes, fortilin gene expression was drastically increased in KyoT 2 transfected A10 cells. In agreement with this observations, KyoT 2 over-expression led to the increase in fortilin .expression levels. Addition of oxLDL into the A10 culture medium caused a decrease in KyoT 2 cDNA levels along with the subsequent decrease in fortilin cDNA levels. In Western blot analysis and immunocytochemistry, the level of cytoplasmic fortilin protein was also decreased by oxLDL-loading in A10 cells. In addition, when the fortilin was over-expressed in the cells cultured in the presence of oxLDL, the cellular expression of annexin Ⅴ disappeared. In the human atherosclerotic lesion, the fortilin was over-expressed in the region of necrotic core in the immunohistochemical studies. Since it has been repeatedly shown that the oxLDL could act as a factor inducing an apoptosis and that the annexin V could be considered as a maker for apoptosis, this result may suggest that the fortilin could function as an anti-apoptotic factor in the cells treated with oxLDL. In conclusion, the expression of fortilin seemed to be regulated by the KyoT 2, which, in turn, may function as a anti-apoptotic factor during the oxLDL-induced atherogenesis. * A thesis submitted to the Council of the Graduate School of Kyungpook National University in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in December 2005. SLIM 1은 동맥 평활근 세포 유래의 A10 세포에서 콜레스테롤에 의해 발현이 증가하는 유전자이며, 그 중 mouse skeletal muscle LIM protein 1은 두 종류의 이성질체를 가지고 있고, 두 이성질체 중 하나인 KyoT 2는 RBP-J binding domain을 가지고 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. RBP-J는 DNA 결합 단백질로서 척추동물의 발생에서 여러 유전자의 발현을 조절하는 전사 조절 인자로 작용한다. 또한 본 실험실의 선행연구에서 동맥경화를 유발시키는 중요한 요인 중의 하나인 oxLDL을 A10 세포에 농도별로 처리하였을 때, KyoT 2의 발현 양상이 oxLDL의 농도가 높아질수록 감소함을 보였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 A10 세포에서 동맥경화와 관련해 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 사료되는 KyoT 2의 발현 증가 또는 감소에 의해 발현 차이를 보이는 유전자를 찾기 위해 KyoT 2가 과발현 된 A10 세포에서 분리한 전체 RNA를 이용하여 DNA chip 분석을 수행하였고, 분석을 통해 KyoT 2에 의해 전사조절을 받는 유전자 중 특히 그 증가가 두드러지는 유전자 중 fortilin을 cloning하여 KyoT 2와의 상관관계를 확인하고자 하였다. Fotilin은 정상 조직에서 흔히 발현되는 유전자로서, 세포 내에서 세포의 성장, 세포 주기의 진행 등과 같은 세포가 살아가는 데 중요한 과정에 관여하며, 다양한 stress 로부터 세포를 방어한다고 알려져 있다. fortilin은 KyoT 2의 발현에 따라 그 발현에 차이가 나타났으며, oxLDL을 처리한 동맥 평활근 세포의 세포질 내에서 그 발현양이 현저히 감소함을 보였다. 또한, OxLDL이 동맥경화 내에서 세포사멸을 일으키는 요인으로 작용할 수 있으므로, fortilin이 형질전환 된 세포에서 annexin Ⅴ assay를 수행했을 시, fortilin이 과발현 된 세포에서는 annexin Ⅴ의 발현이 현저히 줄어듦을 보아, fortilin이 KyoT 2에 의해 전사 조절을 받으며, 동맥 평활근 세포의 생존에 영향을 미칠 가능성을 예상할 수 있다. 동맥 경화 병변 조직에서 fortilin의 발현을 살펴본 결과, necrotic core 부위에서 발현이 증가됨을 보아, 차후 동맥경화 병변에서 necrotic core 표지로 사용될 수 있을 가능성을 제시하였다.
