중학교 기술․가정교과의 식생활 단원에 대한 교육 및 식생활 태도에 관한 연구

The aim of this research is to suggest developmental plans for food and nutrition education by analyzing students' interest, practical use and need of learning on general nutritional education in relation to the students' dietary behavior at middle school. This study was carried out using a self-administered questionnaires and the targeted subjects of this study were 401 the third grade students of middle school. The data was processed by SPSS program, and analyzed using the statistical methods of averages and percentage along with t-test. The result of this study are summarized as follow: First, the lessons for food and nutrition units of Technology-Home economics at middle school were not focused on practice and based on students' participation or presentation. Second, the students who had high marks for the interest had significantly higher score of the practical use and need of learning. Therefore, the practical use and need of learning of students were positively influenced by their interest. Third, the students who had high marks for the practical use significantly higher score the dietary behavior. These results suggested the application of the lesson was effective in enhancing students' dietary behavior in their daily life. As a consequence, this research suggested that nutritional education of Technology-Home economics has significantly influence on dietary behavior of students in their life. There was positive relation between the practical use and dietary behavior of students, showing the nutritional education at school was practically effective.
