5・18민주화운동에서 계엄군의 윤리적 책임: 인식론적 문제를 중심으로

이 글의 목적은 5・18민주화운동에서 가해자의 도구적 수단으로 사용된 이들의 윤리적 책임 문제를 해명하는 것이다. 오늘날의 문명사회에서 한 국가 체제에 속한 개인의 책임 문제를 철학적으로 규명하는 일은 여전히 난제이다. 나는 통상 가해자로 간주되는 이들, 특히 계엄군이 단순히 5・18의 가해자 성격을 갖지만은 않는다는 점에 주목한다. 이와 동시에 그들이 기계적인 부속품이 아니라 하나의 행위자라는 점을 고려할 때 그들에게 면죄부를 주기도 어렵다고 전제한다. 나는 현대 영미 철학에서 전쟁 윤리학의 선구자인 맥맨(Jeff McMahan)의 논의를 참조하여, 계엄군의 가해적 행위에 대해 윤리적 책임을 물을 수 있는지, 만약 그렇다면 그 근거는 무엇인지를 해명하고자 한다. 궁극적으로 나의 주장은 도덕적 무지의 논증, 인식론적 한계 논증과 같은 책임 회피의 논증은 그 타당성이 약하기 때문에 계엄군에게 정당한 도덕적 책임을 지울 수 있다는 것이다. This paper aims to elucidate the issue of the ethical responsibility of those who were used as instrumental means by the perpetrators in the May 18 Democratization Movement. In this modern civilized society, it remains a challenging problem to philosophically investigate the issue of individual responsibility subordinated to a state system. I note that those who are usually considered perpetrators, especially martial law soldiers, do not simply have the characteristics of perpetrators of May 18. At the same time, considering that they are moral agents rather than mechanical parts, it is difficult for us to exempt them from moral responsibility. Drawing on the discussion of Jeff McMahan, a pioneer of war ethics in modern Anglo-American philosophy, I would like to explain whether martial law troops can be held ethically responsible for their harmful actions, and if so, what the basis for this is. Ultimately, I establish that arguments for avoiding responsibility, such as the argument of moral ignorance and the argument of epistemological limitations, are weak in validity. Therefore, it is possible to place justifiable moral responsibility on the martial law forces.

제주도 연안에 분포하는 흰꼴뚜기 (Sepioteuthis lessoniana)의 자원생물학적 연구

The Binfin reef squid, Sepioteuthis lessoniana is commercially important species in Korea. Korean fishing vessels have actively caught it. However, the reproductive Biology of this species has been poorly known. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide information on the reproductive biology of Sepioteuthis lessoniana in Jeju Island, Korea. The Binfin reef squid caught by set net, from June to November 2006. Monthly changes in maturity stages, gonad weight, mantle length at 50% group maturity and sex ratio were investigated. The mantle length of the Binfin reef squid was between 10.6 and 32.1 cm. Maturation and spawning occur all year around, with more intensity from July to September, with peak July. The spawning period was June. The mantle length at 50 % group maturity was estimated to be 18.01 cm. Sex ratio was 1 : 1.4 (male : female). Chiroteuthis picteti (Teuthoidea: Chiroteuthidae) 의 국내출현

One specimen (13.4 cm ML) of Chiroteuthis picteti belonging to the family Chiroteuthidae, firstly collected from Songjeong, Southeast coastal water of Korea on May 18, 2013. It was identified as C. picteti based on the following combination of morphological character: mantle slenderly cylindrical; fin oval shape, both lobes having no anterior free lobe, FL 58.2% of ML; arms long with a formula Ⅳ > Ⅲ > Ⅱ > Ⅰ. We propose a new Korean name, “Kin-pal-o-jing-eo-gua”, “Kin-pal-o-jing-eo-sok”, and “Kin-pal-o-jing-eo” for the family, genus and species, respectively. 표본은 2013년 5월 부산광역시 송정 주변해역의 갯바위에힘없이 파도에 떠밀려 온 것을 뜰채로 채집한 것이다. 몸통길이는 13.4 cm정도이다. 지느러미길이는 몸통길이의 58.2%이고 지느러미폭은 몸통길이의 46.2%다. 촉수는 매우 길고, 촉수주먹은 길고 좁은 편이다. 흡반은 4열로 배열되어 있고 흡반의 모양은 길고 작으며 거의 균일한 크기이다. 팔길이식은 Ⅳ> Ⅲ > Ⅱ > Ⅰ 이다. 각 팔에는 10-20개의 흡반이 있고 흡반둘레의 2/3은 흡반이빨이 차지한다. 촉수에는 38개의 발광기가 분포하고 있었다. 이 미기록종의 과명, 속명, 국명은 “긴팔오징어과”, “긴팔오징어속”, 긴팔오징어“로 각각 제안한다.

인간 정상 간세포와 조양 간세포에서의 Thioredoxin Reductase 3 (TrxR3) 유전자의 전사 조절

Thioredoxin reductase (TrxR)은 세포 내에서 널리 분포하는 dimeric flavoprotein으로써 thioredoxin의 redox state를 조절하며, 특히 oxidative stress에 대한 중요한 방어기전 중에 하나이다. 인간세포에는 3종류의 TrxR이 알려져 있는데 우리는 RT-PCR을 이용하여 정상 간세포인 CHANG과 종양 간세포인 HepG2 cell line에서 TrxR3 유전자의 전사 조절을 규명하였다. TrxR3의 mRNA level은 HepG2 cell에서 CHANG cell보다 높은 발현양을 보였다. 또 lipopolysaccharide를 처리하였을 때는 CHANG cell에서 TrxR3의 발현이 증가하였으며, sodium selenite와 sodium nitroprusside를 처리하였을 때는 HepG2 cell에서 TrxR mRNA 발현이 증가하였다. 또한 TrxR3는 mitochondria에 존재한다고 알려져 있는데, respiratory reaction에 영향을 주는 malate, glutamate, ADP를 처리하였을 때는 CHANG, HepG2 cell 모두에서 TrxR3의 발현이 증가하였다. 이러한 결과들로 미루어 볼 때, 인간 간세포에서의 TrxR3은 다양한 oxidative stress에 대한 중요한 방어기작으로 역할을 하며 특히 oxidative stress에 의한 종양세포에서의 TrxR3의 발현 증가는 종양세포의 분화와 생성에 있어서의 관련성을 암시한다.

초등학교 교사의 직무스트레스 정도에 따른 ‘빗속의 사람’그림 반응특성 연구

본 연구는 초등학교 교사의 직무스트레스 정도에 따른 빗속의 사람그림의 반응특성을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경기도 S시와 K시 소재 초등학교 교사 285명을 대상으로 초등학교 교사 직무스트레스 검사와 빗속 의 사람그림 검사를 실시하여 직무스트레스 정도에 따른 빗속의 사람그림 반응특성의 차이를 분석하였다. 직무 스트레스 상위군과 하위군의 t-test를 실시하였고, 초등학교 교사의 개인변인(나이?교직경력?담당학년)에 따른 직무스트레스와 빗속의 사람그림의 반응특성 차이를 알아보기 위하여 t-test, 일원변량분석(one-way ANOVA)을 실시하였으며, 사후분석(Scheff? 검증)을 실시하였다. 본 연구 결과 첫째, 초등학교 교사의 직무스트레스 정도에 따라 빗속의 사람그림의 반응특성에 유의미한 차이를 나타내었다. 둘째, 초등학교 교사의 개인변인 중 나이에 따른 빗속의 사람그림의 반응특성에는 유의미한 차이가 있었지만, 교직경력과 담당학년에는 유의미한 차이가 없었다. This study is to investigate through identification of response characteristic of Person in the rain based on stress level of Elementary school teacher. The participants of this study were 285 teachers of elementary schools in K city and S city in Gyeonggi-do. They took the elementary school teacher job stress tests and the Person in the rain scale. These data were analyzed which t-test was implemented by classifying upper group and lower group according to job stress lever of elementary school teacher, and to examine job stress and difference in response characteristic of Person in the rain drawing test according to individual variables(age, teaching experience, grade in charge) of elementary school teacher. It was implemented t-test and one-way ANOVA analysis, and Scheeff? test was implemented as post-verification. The summary of study result is as follows; First, there has been significant difference at stress area and coping resource area of Person in the rain drawing between upper group with higher stress and lower group with low stress of elementary school teacher. Second, Elementary school teacher in accordance with the age of the individual variables have a significant difference in response characteristics of Person in the rain drawing test, but in charge of teaching experience and grade did not have significant difference.

채소재배농가의 영양표시 및 농산물 브랜드 인지도 조사

This study was performed to survey the recognition of nutrition labeling and agricultural product brands from vegetable farmers in order to draw out valuable suggestions for enhancing the strength of brand commodities in Korean markets. Questionnaires were given to the vegetable farmers who were trainees at Nonghyup Ansung Agricultural Training Institute. Percentile requency distribution was used for the descriptive analysis and the correlation between nutrition labeling and brands among famers was evaluated by chi-square test. The famers expressed high concerns on both nutritional values and nutrient contents of vegetables, but were not active to publicize their nutritional values because of the lack of knowledge for foods and nutrition related to their products. They agreed that the nutrition labeling would be effective on the sales of products but requested proper assistance such as professional advice, proper education, financial supports, etc. They were well recognized the importance of brands and the necessities for the development of their own brands and/or symbol as well as the improvement of taste and nutrition in order to distinct their product from others. They also pointed out the brand as a major factor to marketing their products and intended to have own brands although few farmers had own brands. The income levels were positively correlated to the nutrition and brand recognition. Most of those with higher income already had their own brands and used nutritional information to marketing. These results suggest that for the production and sales of high valuable agricultural commodities, it is necessary for farmers to have information and knowledge of nutrition and brands. This will eventually provide the appropriate information regarding nutritional values of agricultural brand products to the consumers.
