        상부 위장관 내시경 검사의 전처치 약물에 대한 고찰

        In order to assess the effects of diazepam and meperidine as premedication for upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, eighty eight patients undergone an elective upper gastrointestinal endoscopy were studied. Studied patients were divided into two groups; one group was premedicated with buscopan and stropine(group I), and the other group was premedicated with diazepam and meperidien (group II). The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1) 83.0% of the group II (44/53) did not eomplain any discomfort by the procedure, but only 23.9% (8/35) of the group I showed no discopmort. The difference between two groups is statiatieally significant (p<0.005). 2) In 41 patients with previous experience of endoscopy, 22 patients from 27 of the graup Il(81.5%) did not feel any discomfort but it wes only 3 patients among 14 of the group I (21.4%) who did not feel discomfart (p<0,005). 3) In 47 patients without previous experience of endoscopy, 23 patients from 26 of the group II (88. 5%) did not show discomfort but it way only 5 patients among 21 of the group I (23.7%) (p<0.005). 4) In the patients with previous experience of endoscopy, 21 patients among 27 of the group II (77. 8%) felt better than that of the previous experience but it was only 3 patients among 14 of the group I (21.4%) (p<0.005). From the above results, we would emphasize that it is more effective to use diazepam and, meperidien as premendication for the gastrointestinal endoscopic procedure since it removes pstients apprehension rendering them a good cooperation with very minimal side effects,

      • 광통신에서의 광교한 방식에 관한 연구

        B-ISDN 서비스를 구현하기 위해서는 고용량 광신호 통신을 위한 광교환 기술 확보가 필수적인데 차세대 교환 기술로 기대되는 광교환 기술 방식에는 공간 분할, 시간분할, 파장분할 및 자유곧간분할, 그리고 이들 방식을 혼합한 형태 등의 다양한 방식으로서 광교환 다중화 방식이 제안되고 있으나 그 어느 방식에 대해서도 합의점이 도출되지 못하고 있다. 따라서 광교환 기술개발을 위한 연구방향 탐색이 필요한데, 광교환 시스템 개발에 앞서 광교환을 위한 광소자 개발이 먼저 필요하며 고용량 교ㅓ환 시스템 구현을 위해서 공간분할 광교환 방식으로는 다중채널수의 한계가 예상되기 때문에 어렵다. 단기적으로 광교환 능력을 구현할 수 있는 파장분할 광교환 방식을 이용한 다중화가 광교환 기술분야에서 큰 역할을 할 것이다.

      • 완전 광통신을 위한 도파로형의 광필터

        본 논문은 SiO₂계를 이용한 테이퍼형 결합 도파로로 Mach-Zehnder 간섭계를 구성하여 광파장에 대한 의존성을 작게 하므로써 완전 광통신을 위한 광대역 광파장 분할 다중 필터를 구성할 수 있음을 보였다. 테이퍼형 도파로 해석에는 섭동궤환법을 응용하였고 광필터의 도파로는 내장형으로 SiO₂와 Corning 7059의 혼합형으로 제작하여 중심파장 1.3[㎛]에서 분파 파장간격이 5[nm]인 광필터 동작을 확인하였다. In this study, it is displayed that wide-optical wavelength division multiplexing filter for all optical communication could be realized by constituting Mach-Zehnder interforometer used tapered- coupler waveguide with SiO₂system, sucessfully. Perturbation feedback method was used for the analysis of tapered-waveguide characteristics. And the waveguide of optical filter, i.e., emgedded type using SiO₂ and Corning 7059 glass, was fabricated, and also the optical filter operation, whose wavelength spacing was 5[nm]at the center wavelength of 1.3[㎛], was confirmed.

      • 펄스位置變調를 利用한 光通信에 關한 硏究

        Considerable improvement in noise immunity can be achived by properly exploting the wide available band width oif optical communication systems. Pulse position modulation offers an attractive method of acomplishing this end. This paper describes in a general way the design of, and realization of, an experimentel type of a pulse position modulated optical communication systems. For the end, the design approach uses essentially conventional electronics to amplify, quantize, comparate, reshape, and regenerate the audio signal with GaAs lumimescent diode for source and infrared filter photodiode for detector. In this experimental system, P.D.M. (pulse duration modulation) wave is the output of comparator. These P.D.M. wave are inverted and differentiated, changed the modulated edges into position modulated positive spikes as the P. P. M. wave. Therefore analoge information is carried by position modulated optical pulses, and is received by detector, and is reconstructed the analog information at the receiver. As the result, using sampling frequency fs=10kHz, has been obtained about 75% modulation, and obtained excellent signal to noise ratio.

        아크 방전법으로 성장된 대면적 단일벽 탄소나노튜브 필름

        A simple method to deposit carbon nanotube films uniformly on large area substrates using an arc discharge method is reported in this paper. The arc discharge method was modified to deposit carbon nanotube films in situ on the substrates. The substrates were scanned several times over the arcing point for a uniform film thickness. Deposition was carried out under variable dc bias conditions at 600 torr of $H_2$ gas. The thickness uniformity of the single-wall carbon nanotube films as characterized by a four-point probe was within 30% deviation. The morphology and crystal quality of the single-wall carbon nanotube film were also characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy.

        철근(鐵筋)콘크리트 휨부재의 균열폭 및 균열간격의 결정

        본(本) 논문(論文)에서는 철근콘크리트 휨부재의 균열폭과 균열간격 결정에 관한 연구(硏究)가 이루어 졌다. 철근콘크리트 휨부재의 균열폭 및 균열간격의 유도는 최근에 진전된 균열이론에 의거하였으며, 설계(設計) 및 해석시(解析時)에 실제적으로 사용할 수 있는 균열폭 및 균열간격 예측 공식을 제안하였다. 제안된 공식과의 비교를 위하여 철근콘크리트보에 대한 균열거동 실험이 수행되었다. 본(本) 예측 공식(公式)을 본(本) 연구(硏究)의 실험결과 및 타연구자(他硏究者)의 실험자료와 비교한 결과 만족스런 결과를 얻었다. 본(本) 연구(硏究)에서 제안된 공식을 현재 ACI 시방서(示方書)에서 채택하고 있는 Gergely & Lutz 공식(公式)과도 비교한 결과, 본(本) 공식(公式)이 거의 모든 경우, 더 정확한 예측을 하고 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 실제 설계 및 해석시에 지침이 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. Presented is a study on the determination of crack width and crack spacing in the reinforced concrete flexural members. The derivation of crack width and crack spacing is based on the recently developed cracking theory. The new prediction formulas for the crack widths and crack spacings are proposed. An experiment for the reinforced concrete beams was conducted to compare with the proposed formulas. The comparisons of the present prediction formulas with our tests and other test data show good agreement. The present crack width formula has been also compared with the well-known ACI formula originally proposed by Gergely & Lutz. It was found that the present crack width formula shows better correlation with test data than that of Gergely & Lutz.

      • Development of blue phosphorescent materials for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) with high efficiency

        Two heteroleptic blue phosphorescent Ir(III) complexes were synthesized based on the main C^N chelate bipyridine ligands, with either a 4-positon (1) or 5-position (2) of bulky trimethylsilyl substituent, and acetylacetonate (acac) as an ancillary ligand. Their structure-electroluminescent property relationships were systematically investigated. The combination of trimethylsilyl substituent and acac ligand decreases the energy gap relative to the non-substituted counterpart: Ir(dfpypy)(acac), where dfpypy is 2'-6'-difluoro-2,3'-bipyridine. Blue PHOLEDs which use both complexes as a dopant, and mCPPO1 as a host material, were fabricated successfully. Complex 1 had the highest performance among the reported blue PHOLEDs without co-host, making it an outstanding blue triplet emitter in PHOLEDs with over 30% of external quantum efficiency. Furthermore, the efficiency roll-off dramatically improved in the 1-based device.

        다양한 대역폭 선택법에 따른 커널밀도추정의 비교 연구

        제한된 실험 데이터로부터 확률분포함수를 추정하기 위해서 KDE가 많이 사용되고 있다. KDE에 의한 분포함수는 대역폭 선택법에 따라서 실험 데이터에 대해 평활하거나 과대적합된 커널 추정치를 생성한다. 본 연구에서는 Silverman’s rule of thumb, rule using adaptive estimate, oversmoothing rule을 사용해서 각 방법에 따른 정확성과 보수적인 성향을 비교하였다. 비교를 위해서 단봉분포와 다봉분포를 가지는 실제 모델을 가정하고 통계적 시뮬레이션을 수행한 다음 다양한 데이터의 개수에 따른 추정된 분포함수의 정확도와 보수성을 비교하였다. 또한, 간단한 신뢰성 예제를 통해 대역폭 선택법에 따른 KDE의 추정된 분포가 신뢰성 해석 결과에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 확인하였다. To estimate probabilistic distribution function from experimental data, kernel density estimation(KDE) is mostly used in cases when data is insufficient. The estimated distribution using KDE depends on bandwidth selectors that smoothen or overfit a kernel estimator to experimental data. In this study, various bandwidth selectors such as the Silverman’s rule of thumb, rule using adaptive estimates, and oversmoothing rule, were compared for accuracy and conservativeness. For this, statistical simulations were carried out using assumed true models including unimodal and multimodal distributions, and, accuracies and conservativeness of estimating distribution functions were compared according to various data. In addition, it was verified how the estimated distributions using KDE with different bandwidth selectors affect reliability analysis results through simple reliability examples.
