과학교육에서 개념도는 유의미 학습을 지원하는 가장 효과적인 도구라고 할 수 있다. 학습자가 작성한 개념도를 이용하면 학습자의 지식 수준 뿐 아니라 지식의 구조도 밝혀낼 수 있다. 교수학습 도구로 개념도를 사용하면 학습자들이 인지 구조 속 기존 개념과 새로운 개념의 관계를 맺도록 할 수 있다. 또한 교사들이 개념도를 교육과정 계획 도구로 사용하면 학습자에게 교육과정을 명확히 제시할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 초등교사 양성 프로그램의 개선 방안에 대한 시사점을 얻기 위하여 교수학습 도구, 평가 도구, 교육과정 계획 도구, 연구 도구, 학습 도구로서의 개념도에 대한 연구 동향을 검토하고 교육적 시사점과 추후 연구 방향에 대하여 살펴보았다.

인류가 지향하는 구성원 모두에게 공평하고 환경적으로 건전하며 경제적으로 안정 된 사회를 위해 필수적인 요소라고 할 수 있는 지속가능성은 지대한 관심을 받고 있 는 연구 분야이다. 실제로 지난 몇 십 년 동안 지속가능성 혹은 지속가능발전교육에 관련된 연구는 폭발적으로 증가해왔다. 일반적인 학교 교육 프로그램에서 지속가능 발전교육을 성공적으로 실행하기 위해서는 지속가능성에 대한 선행 연구 결과를 종 합적으로 이해하는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 지속가능발전교육의 실행 에 대한 시사점을 얻기 위하여 지속가능성을 교육과정에서 어떻게 도입하고 교과서 에서 어떻게 가르치는지를 중심으로 관련 선행 연구 동향을 비판적으로 검토하고 교 육적 시사점을 논의하였다.
지방도시 수변공간 이용자 행태 및 현황분석에 관한 연구 -남강, 태화강, 금호강을 중심으로-

The purpose of this study is to analyze present condition and users' behavior on waterfront in local city. To analyze the current physical statues and behavioral issues, 3 cities including Jinju city(Nam river), Ulsan city(Taewha river), and Dae-gu city(Gumho river) has chosen as research areas, the questionnaire and field survey were conducted in research areas focusing on post occupancy evaluation. In this study, it was found that main behaviors of waterfront were rest and exercise and overall satisfactions of waterfront were related to the decision-making for revisitation. However, unsatisfactory physical factors of waterfront were the position and number of facilities related to the behaviors such as rest, exercise, and bicycle riding. Especially, most unsatisfactory factor was the inadequate lighting in respect of intensity of illumination and position although much people had been used each waterfronts at nighttime. In conclusion it was thought that it was necessary to reinforce the program related to culture and leisure such as public performance and to establish infrastructure related to life-time sport and various outdoor exercise for waterfront activation.
공동주택단지 외부공간을 중심으로 한 안전한 생활환경 조성방안에 관한 연구

This study intends to examine the relationships among the degree of outdoor space utilization, frequency and strength of social interactions among the residents, and crime-related factors especially focusing on the fear of crime, in the setting of urban apartment complex. A questionnaire survey of 240 residents, field observation, and the exhaustive analysis of site plans were used to achieve the objective of the study. Statistical analysis methods such as analysis of variance, correlation, and t-test were used to analyze the data gathered. Results showed that the higher the frequency of social interaction among residents, the lower the residents' perceived fear of crime. In addition, the more actively the residents utilize their outdoor space, the less fear of crime they showed in using outdoor space in their apartment complex. Also, the study revealed that the fear of crime was also closely related with residents' territorial attitudes. Finally, several implications for designing safer living environments were suggested. Implications include the target hardening strategies such as installations of closed circuit televisions, safety mirrors or improvement of security lighting at vulnerable outdoor spaces, as well as community building strategies such as reinforcing the community attachment and the introduction of residents' voluntary crime prevention program.

Very long-chain acyl-coenzyme A dehydrogenase (VLCAD) deficiency (VLCADD) leads to a defective 𝛽-oxidation, specifically during prolonged fasting, infection, or exercise. Patients with VLCADD usually suffer from cardiomyopathy, hypoketotic hypoglycemia, hepatic dysfunction, exercise intolerance, muscle pain, and rhabdomyolysis, and sometimes succumb to sudden death. VLCADD is generally classified into three phenotypes: severe early-onset cardiac and multiorgan failure, hypoketotic hypoglycemia, and later-onset episodic myopathy. Diagnostic evaluation comprises acylcarnitine analysis, genetic analysis, and VLCAD activity assay. In the acylcarnitine analysis, the key metabolites are C14:1, C14:2, C14, and C12:1. A C14:1 level >1 mmol/L strongly suggests VLCADD. Various treatment recommendations are available for this condition. Dietary management includes decreasing fat content, increasing medium-chain triglyceride levels, and decreasing fasting periods. Supplementation with L-carnitine is controversial. Triheptanoin (a seven-carbon fatty acid triglyceride) treatment demonstrates improvement of cardiac functions. Bezafibrate may improve the quality of life of patients with VLCAD.
