Degree of Freedom and Time Reversal Symmetryof Supertask 문】제논 역설에 논리적 문제점이 있음을 지적하기 위해 만들어진 신제논류 역설에 등장하는 무한기계(infinite machine)의 초작업(supertask)과 관련된 논제는 크게 두 가지다. 하나는 초작업의 최종상태의 논리적 정당성이다. 다른 하나는 아킬레스의 경주가 초작업과 본질적으로 동등한가라는 점이다. 이전에 발표한 글에서 필자는 초작업의 최종상태가 양자역학의 이론적 체계 내에서 모순 없이 이해될 수 있음을 보인 바 있다. 이 글에서는 두 번째 문제를 다룬다. 즉, 초작업의 완수와 아킬레스의 경주는 서로 다른 자유도(degree of freedom)를 가지고 있어 이들 사이에 일대일 대응이 성립하지 않음을 보인다. 또한, 일반적으로 초작업에 대한 비결정적 진술은 시간에 의존하는 물리적 사건이 모두 만족시켜야 하는 물리학의 원리 중 하나인 시간역전 대칭성(time reversal symmetry)을 만족시키지 못함을 보인다. 이와 같은 논의를 바탕으로, 무한기계의 초작업을 논거로 제논 역설의 논리적 오류를 지적하는 신제논류 역설의 주장이 성립할 수 없음을 보이고, 또한 시간의 흐름을 포함하는 진술의 논리적 정당성을 판단하는 하나의 필요조건으로 시간역전 대칭성을 제시한다김종일**攀** 전북대학교 자연과학대학 과학학과 교수.攀攀

The solid state diffusion joining of ZrO₂to AISI 304 stainless steel produced using Cu interlayer was studied between 900℃ and 1050℃ for times ranging from 30 min to 120min. The joining was carried out in Argon atomospher with the materials in the shape of discs, maintained in contact under a pressure between 30㎫ and 100㎫. Reaction bond consisting of ZrO₂/Cu was dominated by the surface reaction with a undetectable very thin layer. On the metal side, Cu/stainless joining was dependent on the diffusion of Cr and Fe elements of stainless steel to Cu interlayer. Furthermore it was found that Cr and Fe elements in stainless steel were diffused to ZrO₂/Cu joint under the good bonding reaction. The maximum shear strength about 30㎫ was obtained in the couple bonded at 1000℃ for 60min under pressure 50㎫.

液體式 蓄熱槽에서 Tube Space가 熱交換性能에 미치는 影響

To study the effect of the tube spaces on heat excahnge performances in liquid based type solar thermal storage, a solar hot water storage tank was designed and constructed (cylinderical diameter 600㎜, outer diameter 70㎜, height 1,100㎜ total capacity 286 liters). In the tank helical coiled tube was immersed. The helical diameter was fixed 45㎝. Tube spaces were 0㎜, 37.3㎜ and 87.3㎜. The hot wtaer was circulated from the bottom. The circulation flowrate was varied from 500㎖/min to 5000㎖/min. The thermal performances according to the tube spaces were examined. The effects of the tube spaces were observed. The observed results are summarized as follows : 1. The effects of the tube spaces were less when the flowrate was little. 2. When the tube space was more than 37.3㎜ there was no effect of the tube space. 3. In the upper part not located the helical coiled tube, the temperature increasing rate was almost the same. 4. below and above of 1㎜ of the helical coiled tube, there were the large fluctuations of the temperatures.

Background : With recently increase in geriatric population, hip surgery of the aged is increasing likewise as one of the major surgical procedures for orthopedic surgeons. It is the purpose of this paper to study the effects of combined spinal epidural anesthesia on blood pressure, heart rate, pulse oxygen saturation, level of blockade, postoperative pain control and complication in geriatric hip surgery. Methods : Combined spinal epidural anesthesia was performed with a 27G Whitacre spinal needle through a 18G Weiss epidural needle in 30 patients undergoing elective hip surgery of geriatric patients. 0.5% heavy bupivacaine 2 ml (10 mg) was injected intrathecally. Prolonged anesthesia over 2 hours of operation was accomplished by adding 0.5% bupivacaine through epidural catheter. Onset of sensory anesthesia and motor blockade were measured at frequent intervals. Blood pressure, heart rate and pulse oxygen saturation were checked in preoperative state, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 minute after injection, and then every 3 minute until the operation was finished. 0.125% bupivacaine 110 ml with morphine 3 mg was provided by Baxter infusor (Baxter Healthcare CO. Deerfield, USA) for postoperative pain control. Results : All 30 patients had adequate anesthesia. Sensory block level was at least above T10 dermatome and motor blockade of lower extremity was Bromage 3 in all patients. Systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were significantly different (P<0.05) after 3 minutes compared to preoperative state, but any patient had no specific problem. Postoperative pain control was excellent with no significant complication. Conclusions : Combined spinal epidural anesthesia provided reliable anesthesia for hip surgery of geriatric patients without significant complication. (Korean J Anesthesiol 1998; 35: 498∼503)

This study aims to explore how the Occupational Rehabilitation Facilities’ management strategies contribute to the business performance level, seeking for efficient results. The study was conducted on the Chief and intermediary managers of the 478 vocational rehabilitation facilities registered in Vocational Rehabilitation Facilities Association of Korea, which were later analyzed using SPSS 18.0 for statistical processing. The study showed following two result: Total of three types business strategies exists, and those are defensive strategies, analysis-type strategy, offensive strategy. The management strategy appeared to be more effective on working workplaces rather than on sheltered workshops. Secondly, the management strategies of rehabilitation facilities seemed to have more impact on non-financial performance when compared to its impact on financial performance. Based on these findings, having managemental behavior, and the usage of strategic offensive and strategic analysis type, such as human resources management expertise, is proposed to utilize the vocational rehabilitation facilities 본 연구는 직업재활시설의 경영전략이 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 직업재활시설의 효율적 경영에 기여할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 대상은 한국장애인직업재활시설협회에 등록된 직업재활시설 478개소의 시설장과 중간관리자를 대상으로 실시하였고, 통계적 처리를 위해서 SPSS 18.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 첫째, 직업재활시설의 경영전략은 방어형 전략, 분석형 전략, 공격형 전략 순으로 나타났으며, 유형별로는 근로사업장이 보호작업장에 비해 경영전략 수준이 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 직업재활시설의 경영전략이 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보면, 경영전략은 재무적 성과보다 비재무적 성과에 영향을 준 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 직업재활시설 활성화를 위하여, 경영마인드, 분석형 전략과 공격형전략의 도입, 경영전문인력 양성 등을 제안하였다.
