Calciphylaxis is a rare but life-threatening complication in patients with end stage renal disease (ESRD). Clinical presentation consists of violaceous skin lesions that progress to nonhealing ulcers and gangrene. Secondary infection of skin lesions is common, often leading to sepsis and death. We report a case presenting in 16 months after maintenance hemodialysis for diabetic ESRD with painful violaceous skin discoloration on distal fingers of both hands and toes of left foot. X-ray of both hands and left foot showed vascular calcification along the course of the arteries. Despite symptomatic treatement, skin lesions progressed to nonhealing ulcers and became necrotic, and amputation of the second and fifth fingers of right hand was required. The surgical biopsy specimen revealed circumferential calcium deposition in the intima and media of the arteries by von Kossa stain. Two months after the operation, the patient died of cachexia.

Helping employee working for the Food & Beverage(F&B) Department in hotel to understand their job process and efficient F&B service system to be made, the service map suggested by Kingman-Brundage, Jane(1996) The desired service map of hotel F&B departmen is created through considering customer logic, technology logic and employee logic. The desired service map of hotel F&B department by being adjusted and supplemented provides useful reference to make appropriate service system to hotel. And the desired service map of hotel F&B department play roles as a method by which hotel test new service concept and analyzes the effect that the new service concept has on customer, employee and hotel.

A distribution channel of hotel is defined as a mechanism that provides sufficient information to the right people at the right time and in the right place to allow a purchase decision to be made, and also allows the consumer to make a reservation and pay for the required product. Effective distribution is especially important for hotels because of their perishable inventories. For reasons of it, hotels are trying to accept the most suitable distribution system. Hotel information distribution system depending on brochure, telephone, FAX and so on was revolutionized with the appearance of GDS based on computer. And Internet appeared letter is constructing new hotel distribution system. But many hotels still use traditional media such as brochure and telephone to distribute and sell their product. Thus this article considers the advancement of hotel information distribution system and the characteristic and the relationship of each media to help hotel manager accept new hotel distribution system.

This study aims to examine the moderating effect of emotional intelligence between customer verbal aggression and worker’s mental health. Data which is made by Kangwonland Labor Union to search for working environment of women workers is used. Samples are focus on 390 table game workers. The results of the analysis revealed that customer verbal aggression and understanding others’ emotion affect worker’s mental health negatively, emotion control and understanding their own emotion affect positively, and emotional intelligence does not buffer the negative effects of customer verbal aggression on worker’s mental health. And woman who married and(or) has been working for more than 10 years is more healthy than someone who does not. Based on these results, the ways for casino company to improve women workers’ mental health working for table game are suggested.
