The basic theories of the thermoelectric effect is explained by Seebeck effect and the Peltier effect. The electrical characteristics of a Thermoelectric-Heater(Cooler) which was made by BiTe, was shown by the figure of merit Z. The FOD of P-type and N-type were 3×10-³/K and 2.8×10-³/K. The dependence of thermoelectric module on heating time has linearlity after initial 10 minutes. This linearlity is independent of the condition, exist cooling water or not, but the absolute value of temperature difference rate was concerned them.
X-선 회절법에 의한 CdS 분말과 박막의 구조에 관한 연구

The heat-treatmented CdS powder samples had been changed their X-ray spectra depending on their heat-treated temperature. There were no differences between the as-grown sample and the heat-treated samples for the temperature range of 300℃~450℃. But the new peaks of Cd_2SiO_4 were appeared over 450℃ and the peaks were very clear at 570℃. The heat-treatment conditions of the CdS thin film samples affected to their X-ray spectra. In the cases of atmosphric condition, it was shown that the superposition of CdS thin film spectra and CdO spectra in the X-ray diffraction pattern.
부호화한 주파수 도약 대역 확산 통신 네트워크의 성능 분석

본 논문에서는 AWGN, 협대역재밍, 페이딩, 사용자간간섭이 혼재하는 채널에서 FH/SSMA시스템의 성능을 분석하였다. 다수의 사용자가 존재할 때 나타나는 주파수총돌(사용자간 간섭)을 고려하면서,채널의 보조정보를 이용할 경우와 이용하지 않을 경우를 구분하여 부호별 에러확률과 처리능력을 계산하였다. 분석 결과, 복합적인 간섭이 혼재하는 채널환경에서 RS부호가 길쌈부호보다 우수하며, 쇄상 부호는 같은 부호화율인 RS부호와 거의 동일한 성는을 나타냈다. 페이딩이나 협대역재민등 복합적인 간섭이 존재하는 채널환경에서는 에러정정용 부호로서 RS 부호가 최적인 것으로 나타났다. This paper alms to analyse the performance of frequency hopping /spread spectrum multiple access system by employing the channel with mixture of AWGN, partial band Jamming, fading and user interference. The performance analysis of FH /SSMA system, taking account of frequency 'hit'(user Interference ) which occurs in the presence of multiple user, produces the following numerical results by computing error probability and throughput of each code in two cases whether the side Information about channel is used or not. The numerical results are as follows : When composite interferences coexist In channel, RS code Is significantly superior to convolutional code in terms of performance. Concatenated code provides the same performance as RS code. The above results show that RS code is pertinent as error-correction code.

CdS/InP solar cells are fabricated and characteristics are investigated. The current-voltage characteristics measured reveals the knee voltage and the breakdownvoltage to be 1.0 volt and 11 volts. And the spectral respons of photovoltage are nearly uniform form 500 nm to 1㎛ range. The photocurrent-photovoltage curve obtained short curicut current density, J_sc and open curcuit voltage, V_oc 5 ㎃/㎠ 0.5 volt under the irradiation of 50 ㎽/㎠ shows the filling factor 0.6 and power conversion efficiency 1.2 % respectively.
진공증착 법으로 제작한 $WO_{3}$/CdS 박막의 가시광 광 변색의 에너지 전환

Tungsten oxide($WO_{3}$) is suitable to materials for photochromic window in the visible region. The resistivities of CdS, $WO_{3}$, and $WO_{3}$/CdS films prepared by thermal evaporation method were $4.61\times 10\^{3}$, $7.59\times10^{3}$, and $6.29\times10^{3}$ $\omega$ cm. And x-ray diffraction patterns of CdS, $WO_{3}$/CdS films showed a preferred orientation of hexagonal(002), and the monoclinic(020) structure, respectively. The optical transmission were measured that the cut-on wavelength were 510nm, 380nm for CdS and $WO_{3}$ films respectively, and the transmission spectrum of $WO_{3}$/CdS was shifted into the visible region. Photoluminescence(PL) spectra showed the two peaks at 2.8 eV and 3.2 eV for the as-grown sample($WO_{3}$/CdS ($500{\AA}$), but the other sample($WO_{3}$/CdS ($1000{\AA}$)) had a peak energy value of 2.8 eV. The photochromism of $WO_{3}$/CdS films showed that the excitation of electron-hole pairs and subsequent coloration is shifted into visible-light range. And the spectral behavior of coloration turned out to be proportional to the excited electron-hole pairs creation rate of CdS film. This result is interpreted in terms of charge carrier injection from the CdS-layer into the $WO_{3}$ films. We found a value of about 2.8 eV of $WO_{3}$/CdS film which is somewhat higher than peak energy of 2.54 eV using CBD prepared by Bechinger et. al.
