      • 알칼리성 에탄올용액 중의 수소화붕소나트륨에 의한 카르보닐 화합물의 환원

        The reduction of carbonyl compounds and their nitro or methoxy derivatives with sodium borohydride in alkaline ethanol were studied to yield rapidly and selectively corresponding alcohols. Benzaldehyde, acetophenone, benzophenone and 2 heptanone consumed one equivalent of hydride within 1, 6, 3 and 6 hrs. respectively, but butanal consumed 0.58 within 144 hrs. , cyclohexanone, 0.87 within 6 hrs. On the other hand, deactivating m-nitro derivatives of benzaldehyde and acetophenone consumed one equivalent of hydride within 1 hr. respectively, without reducing m-nitro group, and activating p-methoxy derivatives of benzaldehyde and acetophenone consumed one equivalent of hydride within 3 and 72 hrs. respectively. On the preparative scale, reduction products of benzaldehyde, acetophenone, 2-heptanone, m-nitro or p-methoxy benzaldehyde and acetophenone reduced to corresponding alcohols, 91.5 to 100% yield.

        연꽃 문양을 이용한 직물디자인 개발 및 문화상품 제작 (Ⅱ)

        In an information-oriented and internationalized society of the future, the quality and the price of goods made by each country will be equalized. That eliminates competition. But the design and appearance of products is an important factor in international competition. Indeed, design symbolizes a country's culture visually, and it can show the cultural identity and originality of a nation in international society. And that will play an important part that can contribute to creating added value. It is necessary to revive our people's old lyrical stories which are far away from our memory, and we badly need design development to revive traditional cultural merchandise through visual modernization. In this study, I chose lotus as the subject material of textile design development. And my intention for this study is to reflect Korean traditional cultural value as much as I can, and to develop textile design of Korean images by adding modern scenes. Also, I intend to print them on fabric, and apply them to cultural merchandise including scarves and ties, by using digital textile printing systems. The reasons for doing so, are to create high added value, and to let other peoples of the world, know about our excellent culture.

        떡살문양을 이용한 직물디자인

        At the global times, each country is developing various designs, symbolizing its own country's original images. So significant and continual developments must be made in the aspect of the national identity and image promotion as well as for producing added value by commercializing the designs in the manner of discriminating against cultures. So this study is trying develop the textile design that express the beauty of Korean traditional pattern. For textile design, it was selected a rice-cake pattern and developed a textile pattern design by using computer design program of adobe illustrator 10.0.

        고사리잎 추출액을 이용한 견직물 염색성

        In this study, the characteristics of catechol tannin and pyrogallol tannin contained in Pteridium aquilinum were analysed by IR spectrum. Silk fabrics were dyed with Pteridium aquilinum extracts using various mordants, and their dyeing properties were discussed. Additionally the fastness to the water digestion, perspiration liquid digestion and light irradiation were investigated. IR spectrum of catechol tannin showed bands of O-H at 2417㎝^(-1), C-H at 2930㎝^(-1), C-O at 1722^(-1), C=C at 1644㎝^(-1), CH₂ at 1402㎝^(-1). And IR spectrum of pyrogallol tannin showed bands of O-H at 3409㎝^(-1), C-H at 3003㎝^(-1) and 2933㎝^(-1), C=O at 1701㎝^(-1), C=C at 1582㎝^(-1), CH₂ at 1401㎝^(-1), CO at carboxylic acid and carboxylic acid ester at 1287㎝^(-1) and 1135㎝^(-1). The maximum absorption wavelength of the extracts appeared at 270.0nm and 311.5nm. The optimum conditions for dyeing silk fabric with Pteridium aquilinum extracts were 80℃, 60min. Surface color of the silk fabric dyed with Pteridium aquilinum extracts was 2.7Y. Surface color of the pre-mordanted fabrics with Al, Cu and Fe were 4.3Y, 2.5Y and 4.7Y, respectively. And Surface color of the post-mordanted fabrics with Al, Cu and Fe were 3.7Y, 2.8Y and 0.2GY. The water fastness and the alkaline perspiration fastness were improved in the Al-mordanted silk fabrics. By acidic and alkaline perspiration treatment, △E of the unmordanted fabrics was lower than that of pre-and post-mordanted fabrics. Also after 40hour irradiation, △E of the unmordanted fabrics was lower than that of pre-and post-mordanted fabrics.

        TD GC/MS를 이용한 황벽, 황련 및 애기똥풀의 향기 성분 분석

        Volatile compounds in Phellodendron amurense Ruprecht, Coptis japonica Makino, and Chelidonium majus var. asiaticum were analyzed by thermal desorption gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (TD GC/MS). Thirty-eight compounds-20 hydrocarbons, 2 alcohols, 9 aldehydes, 2 ketones, 3 ethers, a carboxylic acid, and a heterocyclic acid-were identified in Phellodendron amurense Ruprecht. Twenty-five compounds-18 hydrocarbons, an alcohol, an aldehyde, 3 ketones, an ester, and a carboxylic acid-were identified in Coptis japonica Makino. Twenty-four compounds-14 hydrocarbons, an alcohol, 3 aldehydes, 2 ketones, an ether, an ester, a carboxylic acid, and a heterocyclic acid-were identified in Chelidonium majus var. asiaticum. Monoterpene hydrocarbon compounds were the major compounds found in Phellodendron amurense Ruprecht (64.16%), Coptis japonica Makino (95.02%), and Chelidonium majus var. asiaticum (92.05%). Unlike Coptis japonica Makino and Chelidonium majus var. asiaticum, Phellodendron amurense Ruprecht was found to contain large amounts of aldehyde compounds. The nitrogen compound, N-vinyl-2-oxazolidone, was the most common compound found in Phellodendron amurense Ruprecht and Coptis japonica Makino. Trans-Caryophyllene of sesquiterpene was the most common compound found in Phellodendron amurense Ruprecht, Coptis japonica Makino, and Chelidonium majus var. asiaticum.

        천연염색을 이용한 홀치기 염색기법의 직물디자인

        This study aims at developing of textile design expressed not only Korean natural image but also modern sensibility using fabrics dyed by tie dyeing with various natural dyes. And it attempts to practicality of high value-added goods revived traditional beauty. With the aqueous extract of various natural dyes, i.e., indigo, amur cock tree, onion's peel, citrus peel, mugwort, gromwell, sappan wood silk fabrics dyed by tie dyeing. Also various color changes were examined by mordants, i.e., aluminium sulfate, cupric acetate mono hydrate, ferrous chloride. With these fabrics, I made works using the techniques of applique, mola, fabric's connection and weaving. I think the developed textile design gave expression to natural image of Korean nation.

        Selective Reduction of Carbonyl Compounds Using Two Phase Reduction with Sodium Borohydride

        니트릴, 니트로 및 할로겐과 같은 작용기 하나를 가지는 유기화합물과 이들의 작용기 하나와 더불어 카르보닐기를 가지는 10개 유기화합물의 에테르용액을 실온에서 알칼리성 수소화붕소나트륨용액에 작용시키는 2액상환원의 대략적인 반응속도와 화학량적 관계를 알아보았다. 니트릴, 니트로 및 할로겐은 2액상환원 조건하에서는 모두 반응하지 않았다. 따라서 이들 작용기 하나와 카르보닐기를 함께 가지고 있는 화합물들의 선택환원을 알아보았다. m-니트로벤즈알데히드, m-니트로아세트페논, p-시아노벤즈알데히드는 해당 알코올로 잘 환원되었으며 95∼100% 수득률을 얻었다. Approximate rate and stoichiometry of the reaction of ten compounds which contain functional group such as nitrile, nitro, halogen and one of these functional group together with a carbonyl group by the two phase reduction were tested at room temperature. Nitrile, nitro and halogen were all inert under these condition. Therefore selective reduction of carbonyl group in the presence of these group were examined. Thus m-nitrobenzaldehyde, m-nitroacetophenone, p-bromoacetophenone and p-cyanobenzaldehyde were reduced to corresponding alcohols in excellent yields, 95∼100 %.
