        No matter how having modernized equiopment, substantial fighting power doesn't exist without smooth succeeding support. Therefore, war supplies support to a timely and the right place is the important factor to content for victory. The air force stock management system improvemant has greatly been advanced through the steady study. But the demand prediction of the restorable repair item and the base sanction storage item selection basis were pointed out to the lack of the scientism and the rationalism more or less. This study analized the cost ter effectiveness rate by using the AVAILABILITY MODEL, developed LMI against item of which demand is 1-2 pieces yearly and which is not selected to the base sanction storage item. this model is the cost per effectiveness rate analiz ing technique by calculating the expected anticipation increass number of the operational aircraft when possessing a low demand item at the base and by calculating the expectation profit to an amount of money by multipling anticipation increase number to aircraft unit cost. According to the result of the cost per effectiveness rate against samples of the 15 pieces after classifing 141 pieces of which demand is 1-2 pieces yearly and which is not selected to the base sanction storage item among the restorable repair item of the so-and-so base so-and-so aircraft by ABC stock classification techique, the investment efficiency was as follows: A group : 1~6 times. B group : 12~34 times. C group : 42~1800 times. The cost per effectiveness technique can be nore acientific and rationalistic than existing system which is on the basis of only frequency of demand for sanction storage item selection and be judged as a usable technique if we can know the correct NORS hour and demand rate of each item in advance.
