        This study investigated physique, physical fitness of classified by somatotype and body composition of 308 middle school students attending the middle school in Jinju. The results of the study were as follows: 1.In factor of Body Weight appeared Endomorphy average 14~17kg heavy than Mesomorphy, Ectomorphy. 2.In factor of closed eyes foot balance appeared Mosomorphy average 6 sec higher than Endomorphy, 8 sec higher than Ectomorphy. 1000m running appeared Mosomorphy, Ectomorphy average 27∼29 sec fast than Endomorphy. 3.In factor %Fat appeared Endomorphy average 10% higher than Mosomorphy, Ectomorphy, Fat appeared endomorphy average 9∼10kg heavy than Mesomorphy, Ectomorphy, LBM appeared Endomorphy average 4∼7kg heavy than Mesomorphy, Ectomorphy. 4.The correlation coefficient between Body Height and Vertical Jump, 1000m running, Body Weight and Trunk flexion were correlation in Endomorphy. 5.The colleation coefficient between Body Height and BSA, LBM, Body Weight and BSA, %Fat, Fat, LBM were revealed as the highest correlation. 6.The colleation coefficient between Vertical Jump, 1000m running, Body density, %Fat, Fat, LBM were revealed as the highest correlation in Endomorphy.

        A. Physical Growth and Development. The maximum annual growth rates were as follow: 1. Body Height: 6.43㎝ during the age 13-14 for Seoul boys, 7.92㎝ during the age 10-11 for Japan urban area boys. The indicates that Japan urban area boys enter a rapidly growing stage one year earlier than Seoul boys of the Body height. 5.54㎝ during the age 11-12 for Seoul girls, 6.63㎝ during the age 10-11 for Japan urban area girls. The indicates that Japan urban area girls enter a rapidly growing stage one year earlier than Seoul girls of the Body height. 2. Body Weight: 5.68㎏ during the age 12-13 for Seoul boys, 5.69㎏ during the age 12-13 for Japan urban area boys. One the average Seoul boys were found to enter a rapidly growing stage same the Japan urban area boys. 4.47㎏ during the age 11-12 for Seoul girls, 5.41㎏ during the age 11-12 for Japan urban area girls. On the average Seoul girls were found to enter a rapidly growing stage same to Japan urban area girls. 3. Chest - Girth: 3.73㎝ during the age 13-14 for Seoul boys, 3.99㎝ during the age 13-14 for Japan urban area boys. The indicates that Japan urban area boys enter a rapidly growing stage same the Seoul boys of the chest-girth. 7.67㎝ during the age 12-13 for Seoul girls 4.46㎝ during the age 11-12 for Japan urban area girls. The indicates that Japan urban area girls were found to enter a rapidly growing stage one year earlier than the Seoul girls. 4. Sitting Height: 4.10㎝ during the age 13-14 for Seoul boys, 3.71㎝ during the age 12-13 for Japan urban area boys. The indicates that Japan urban area boys enter a rapidly growing stage one year earlier than Seoul girls of the Sitting Height. B. Body Fat weight counting. 1. Body Surface area: Rapid growth of the Body Surface area was shown in both sex. The maximum annual growth rates of Body surface area were 0.13m² from 12 to 13 years of age in Seoul boys, and 11 to 12 years of age in gihls. This indicates that Seoul girls enter a rapidly growing stage one year earlier than boys of the Body surface area. The maximum annual growth rates of Body surface area wre 0.12m² from 12 to 13 years of age in Japan urban area boys and 11 to 12 years of age in girls. This indicates that girls enter a rapidly growing stage one year earlier than boys of the Body surface area. 2. Body Volume: Repid growth of the Body volume was shown in both sex during the period 10-14 years of age. The crossing point of boy and girls appeared at 13 to 14 years of age in Seoul and from 13 to 14 in Japan urban area. The maximum annual growth rater of Body volume were 5.6ℓ from 12 to 13 years of age in Seoul boys and 4.40ℓ from 11 to 12 years of age in Seoul girls. This indicates that Seoul girls enter a rapidly growing stage one year earlier than boys of the Body volume. 5.26ℓ from 12 to 13 years of age in Japan urban area boys and 11 to 12 years of age in girls. This indicates that girls enter a rapidly growing stage one year earlier than boys of the Body volume. 3. In general, Seoul and Japan urban area boys showed a tendency increased with age, and the Body Density of male was greater than that of female. 4. $ Fat: The maximum annual growth rates of Body % Fat were 3.70% from 13-14 years of age in Seoul boys and 11-12 years (2.64%) of age in Japan urban area boys. This indicates that Japan urban area boys enter a rapidly growing stage two years earlier than Seoul boys of the Body Fat weight. The maximum annual growth rates of Body Fat weight were 1.2㎏ from 12-13 years of age in Seoul girls and 11-12 (1.43㎏) years of age in Japan urban area girls. This indicates that Japan urban area girls enter a rapidly growing stage one year earlier than Seoul girls of the Body Fat weight.

      • 出生順別 性格特性 및 體力檢査 成績比較에 關한 硏究

        Following results have been obtained from comparing the characteristics by different birth and physical tests applied to the students of 1,604 in the high schools of Kyeongnam district. 1. Test of physical strength showed superior results as below : Firstly dominance, secondly- masculinity and thirdly -impulsiveness in both male and female. Also showed the poor results in both male and female, first and second in Sociability, second and third in emotional stability, first and third in masculity. 2. In 100m dash, showed results as below : Showed a slightly superior in first male and second female, and showed the most intensive increase in 2nd year class and 3rd year class in case of male, between 1st year class. 2nd year class of high school in case of female. Also showed the lowest increase in both male and female between 3rd year class of middle school and 1st year class of high school. 3. In broas jump showed a little superior results both in male and female in case of middle school for the third, and third but showed the first was superior in high school. 4. In pull ups, the third showed a superior results and intensive in-crease showed in the 2nd year class and 3rd year class of middle-school, showed the lowest increase at the time of between 3rd year class of middle school and 1st year class of high school. 5. In distance run, showed the third was superior in middle school, but the second was superior at the time of high school. Also showed the most intensive increase during the time of 1st year class and 2nd year class of middle school, and showed the most low development at the time of between 3rd year class of middle school and 1st year class of high school. 6. In throwing, showed superior in case of third in male and 2nd in female. Also showed the most intensive increase both in male and female between the time of 2nd year class and 3rd year class of middle school. The lowest improvement showed at the time of between 1st year and 2nd year class of high school in case of male and between 3rd year class of middle school and 1st year class of high school. 7. In sit ups, the third showed superior results in middle school, but the first was superior in high school in case of male and the third was superior in case of female. Also the most intensive increase showed in both male and female at the time of 2nd year class and 3rd year class of middle school, and showed the lowest development at the time of between 1st year class and 2nd year class of high school, in male and between 3rd year class of middle school and 1st year class of high school.

      • 靑年男女의 體組成과 最大酸素性能力에 關한 硏究

        The purpose of this study was focused on the characteristics of the maximal cardio-respiratory function and body composition in young Korean adults of both sexes. The items in physique were body height, body weight, girth of chest and sitting height. VO2 max was determined by an exhaustive running test on a motor-driven treadmill. A three-min warm-up of running at 160m/min was given to men and 130 m/min to women with a constant slope of two degrees. After ten-min rest, the subjects ran at the same greed with a zero degree grade for the first three minute. Thereafter the grade was increased by two degree every minute until exhaustion. Body density was determined by underwater-weighing method. Water temporature was approximately 36℃. Fat and LBM were computed from body density, employing the revised formula of Brozek et al. Residual lung volume was measuraed by vital capacity method. Eleven healthy young Korean men and thirteen women volunteered as subjects. The following results of the measurement were obtained. 1.The means for the percent fat in youngmen and women were 13.1±4.21% and 21.6± 4.43%, respectively. 2.The means for the maximal oxygen uptake (VO2 max/wt) in young men and women were 2.99±0.411ℓ/min (49.3±5.93 ml/kg/min) and 2.07±0.364ℓ/min (39.4±4.29 ml/kg/min), respectively. 3.The means for the maximum ventilation per minute and maximum heart rate per minute in young men and women were 102.0±0.80ℓ/min and 190.0±7.9 bpm, 70.1± 11.2ℓ/min and 187.6±7.2 bpm, respectively. 4.Correlation confficients between absolute VO2 max versus % fat and LBM were r= -0.42, r= 0.63 (P〈0.01), respectively.

        유산소·서킷 복합운동 프로그램이 비만 초등학생의 신체조성과 혈액성분 변화에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to analyze the effects of 12-week Aerobic?Circuit Exercise program on the physical and blood composition of obesity girl elementary school students. The body obesity of the students was over fat 30% and the Mixed Training program was made up of Aerobic Training and Circuit Training and this training program was conducted five times a week, HRmax 50~70% and 60±10min a day. The results are as following. 1. Physical composition changes after 12-week Aerobic?Circuit Exercise program showed decline increases of LBM 0.48㎎/㎗and it does not mean significant differences statistically(p<.05). However, after the experiment the declines of Weight 5.36kg, %Fat 3.18%, Fat 3.00kg mean significant differences(p<.05). 2. Blood composition changes after 12-week Aerobic?Circuit Exercise program showed increase of HDL-C 3.10㎎/ ㎗and it does not mean significant differences statistically(p<.05). However, after the experiment the declines of LDL-C 19.20㎎/㎗, TG 25.60㎎/㎗and T-C 22.60㎎/㎗mean significant differences(p<.05). The results above showed that Aerobic?Circuit Exercise program had effects on the physical and blood composition changes of obesity children. Therefore, this study needs to be developed into the synthetic, scientifical and exciting training program applying Aerobic?Weight?Circuit Training, psychotherapy, dietotherapy, behavioral modification therapy and etc as well as the Aerobic?Circuit Exercise program.

      • 혈액형별 성격특성과 체력검사성적에 관한 연구 : 경남지역내 남녀고등학생을 중심으로

        Followings are the results of survey conducted for 1, 850 students of male and female high schools in the district of Kyeongnam Province in order to compare characteristic u by different blood types and physical test results. 1. Type-A was the highest in the distribution of male and female blood types, Type-AB was the lowest in the distribution. 2. The results of examination of characteristics are:In case of male-Type-A is character of control and objective, Type-O is impulsive and masculine, Type-B is masculine and Type-AB is social. In case of female-Type-A is impulsive, Type-O is social and masculine, Type-B is objective, Type-AB is high in social character. On the other hand, showed particular results of Type-O is masculine type both in male and female. 3. Results of physical test shows, in case of middle school, a little different changes in the results by different type of blood. However, when compared with the results in case of high school, showed the followings in male-showed the most superior results in the remaining items besides in the test of dash and pall ups in case of Type-O, showed superior in 100m dash in case of Type-A, and showed superior in pull ups in case of Type-B. On the other and, the Type-A showed the most poor results in pull ups and throw, and the Type-AB showed the most poor results in broad jump and sit ups. In case of female, showed superior results in entire items in case of Type-O. On the other hand, showed poor results as below: Type-A-100m dash and distance run Type-B-Broad jump and sit ups Type-AB-Throwing

      • 男子大學 跆拳道選手의 有酸素性能力과 運動强度에 關한 硏究

        The purpose of this study was to fond the relationship between respiro-circulatory function and the exercise density degree during the game of college student Taekwon-do players. Data of eight male college student Taekwon-do players who enrolled in Busan and Kyung Sang Nam-do was collected and analyzed. The Major findings of this study were summarized as follows 1.Score of Maximum respiro-circulatory function with treadmill load of male college student Taekwon-do players was analyzed as such. VEmax, 136.4 ± 5.96ℓ/min, H.Rmax: 199.6 ± 8.03 bum, O2pulse max: 21.2 ± 2.44 mℓ/ beats, R.Qmax: 1.06 ± 0.036 2.VO2 Max of male college student Taekwon-do players was 3.51 ± 0.468ℓ/min and VO2/ wt of them was 53.3 ± 3.77mℓ/kg/min. 3.The mean of the H.R, exercise of Taekwon-do players after third round Taekwon-do competion play was 168.1 ± 11.36%. 4.The mean of the H.R max of Taekwon-do player after third round Taekwon-do competion play was 77.77±8.03%. 5.The mean of the VO2 max of colleage student Taekwon-do players after third round Taekwon-do competition play was 78.0 ± 8.68%
