      • QFD Model for Quality Performance Self-assessment

        How to measure Quality Performance (QP) or excellence performance in organizations is very important for improving the quality of an organization's products and services. This paper takes Quality Function Deployment (QFD) as a useful tool to identify the key characteristics of quality performance and measure the influence factors on quality performance. Most national quality awards provide a framework of the criteria to show the essential elements of an organization's quality performance and get the Quality Performance Score (QPS) by self-assessment using the criteria. By means of these criteria, especially, the criteria of China Quality Award (CQA), a measurable indicator system for quality performance is set up. A four-phase QFD model of assessment for quality performance is developed. This QFD model not only presents the most important efforts for the deployment of the measurable indicators of quality performance, but also takes great advantage of evaluating the quality performance and obtaining the quality performance score. The measurable indicator hierarchy of quality performance is formed and its implementation method for assessment quality performance is described in this paper.

      • The Same Distribution Principle and Its Applications

The quality control philosophy and background of the principle are introduced. Some implementing techniques for the principle are presented, and application cases both in industry and evaluation & decision-making areas are shown.

      • Dynamic COQ Model for Different Quality Levels

        A COQ model plays an important role in the total quality cost survey. Based on the methodology of continuous quality improvement, a dynamic COQ model for different quality level is developed in this paper. A quality level is defined by Six Sigma level that can be measured by two indicators. The relationships among the four major quality costs are analyzed. Finally, the curves of total quality costs for different quality level are presented.

      • ISO9000 Certification Effect: Evidence from China

        As a sign of international quality system, ISO9000 certification has been adopted by more and more enterprises. In recent five years, there have been 560,000 certified companies in Europe and America, and there have been more than 390,000 ones in China. It has being attracted many quality scholars' attentions whether ISO9000 certification can bring more benefits to certified companies or not. This paper investigates the ISO9000 certification effect on market performance by the samples from Chinese list companies in shanghai stock exchange. Considering ISO9000 certification as an event, a certification effect model will be set up by means of the event study method, which takes abnormal return rate as a basic indicator to measure the ISO9000 certification effect on Chinese market performance in different event times. Investigation results show that the Chinese certified companies have some positive effects on market performance in the short term. From a long standpoint, the relation between certification and performance has a positive trend.

      • A Multivariate Discriminator for Process Drift

        Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (MEWMA) chart is a control chart under multivariate process based on the idea of EWMA that rapidly detects small dispersion with a trend. The MEWMA chart was first time discussed by Woodall. However, in his study the correlativity among the multivariate was not considered for the selection of the constant of the diagonal matrix (the smooth parameter λ). In this paper, the EWMA chart with a generalized smooth parameter matrix has been discussed which is believed to have a better fitness for practical production than Woodall's approach.

      • Customer Satisfaction Measurement Model Based on QFD

        With the development of the American Customer satisfaction index (ACSI), research on customer satisfaction measurement or evaluation methods have become significant in the last decade. Most of international customer satisfaction barometers or indices are evolved based on the cause and effect relationship model of ACSI. Of critical importance to validity of customer satisfaction indices is how to construct a measurement attribute or indicator model and provide an effective implementation method effectively. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a very useful tool for translating the customer voice into product design through quality engineering. In fact, this is a methodology for measuring and analyzing evaluation indicators by their relationship matrix. In this paper, we will make an effort to integrate the framework of QFD into the measurement problem of customer satisfaction, and also develop a new multi-phase QFD model for evaluation of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). From the houses of quality in this model, the evaluation indicators impacting on customer's global satisfaction are identified by means of their relationship matrix. Then the evaluation indicator hierarchy and its measurement method for the customer satisfaction index are presented graphically. Furthermore, survey data from the Chinese automobile maintenance sector and a relevant case study are utilized to show the implementation method of the QFD model used to measure and analyze of customer satisfaction.

        중국 중학생의 그릿과 창의성의 관계에서 행복감의 매개효과

        본 연구는 중국 중학생의 그릿, 행복감과 창의성 간의 관계를 규명하여 그릿과 창의성 간의 관계에서 행복감의 매개효과를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 중국 중학생 287명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 각 변인의 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였고, 그릿과 창의성 간의 관계에서 행복감의 매개효과를 검증을 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 그릿과 행복감, 창의성 간에는 모두 유의미한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 행복감은 그릿과 창의성의 관계를 부분매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과는 중학생의 창의성을 높이기 위해 그릿과 함께 행복감을 증진 시킬 필요가 있음을 시사한다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of happiness on the relationship between grit and creativity in Chinese middle school students. For the purpose of the study, 287 Chinese middle school students were selected to conduct the survey. Then the correlation analysis was performed to figure out correlations among the variables. According to the procedures Baron and Kenny suggested in 1986, hierarchical multiple regression is conducted to measure the mediating effect of happiness on the relationship between grit and creativity. The results of this study are as follows. First, there was a significant correlation among grit, happiness and creativity. Second, happiness exerts a partial mediating effect on the relationship between grit and creativity. The results suggest that grit as well as happiness can play an important role in increasing middle school students creativity.

        중국 예비유아교사의 그릿 군집 유형에 따른 학습몰입, 창의성과 삶의 만족도의 차이

        본 연구는 중국 예비유아교사의 그릿의 두 개 하위요인인 흥미유지성과 노력지속성의 수준에 따라 그릿 유형을 구분하고 그릿 유형에 따라 우수한 유아교사가 성장하는 과정에서 중요한 조건과 자질인 학습몰입, 창의성과 삶의 만족도가 어떠한 차이를 보이는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 중국에 소재한 예비유아교사 330명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 그릿과 학습몰입, 창의성 및 삶의 만족도 간에 유의미한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 중국 예비유아교사의 그릿 군집 유형은 4개의 집단으로 구분되었으며 군집유형의 특성을 반영하여 ‘낮은 그릿 집단’, ‘노력지속 우위 집단’, ‘흥미유지 우위 집단’, ‘높은 노력 집단’으로 명명하였다. 셋째, 예비유아교사의 그릿 군집유형에 따라 유의미한 수준에서 학습몰입, 창의성과 삶의 만족도의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 ‘높은 그릿 집단’과 ‘노력지속 우위 집단’일수록 학습몰입, 창의성과 삶의 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 그릿이 중국 예비유아교사의 성장발달에 주는 함의 및 시사점을 제시하였다. This study aimed to examined the differences of Chinese pre-ervice early childhood teachers’ learning flow, creativity and life satisfaction by cluster types based on the grit. For the purpose of the study, 330 Chinese pre-ervice early childhood teachers were selected to conduct the survey. Correlation analysis and two-ay ANOVA were conducted to analyze the data. The results of the study were as follows: First, there were significant correlations among grit, learning flow, creativity and life satisfaction. Second, a cluster analysis 330 Chinese pre-ervice early childhood teachers revealed four clusters: higher grit group, lower grit group, higher tenacity group, higher consistency of interests group. Third, there were significant differences of Chinese pre-ervice early childhood teachers’ learning flow, creativity and life satisfaction by cluster types based on the grit. In general, higher grit group and higher tenacity group showed higher learning flow, creativity and life satisfaction. Based on these results, the study provided implications and suggestions for pre-ervice early childhood teachers’ growth development in relation to grit.

        중국 고등학생의 그릿(Grit)과 학습몰입 관계에서 긍정정서의 매개효과

        본 연구의 목적은 중국 고등학생의 그릿과 학습몰입 간의 관계에서 긍정정서의 매개효과를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 고등학생 318명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 이 중에서 291명의 자료를 최종 분석하였다. 각 변인의 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였고, 그릿과 학습몰입 간의 관계에서 긍정정서의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 그릿, 긍정정서, 학습몰입 간에는 모두 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 긍정정서는 그릿과 학습몰입의 관계를 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과는 고등학생의 학습몰입을 높이기 위해 그릿과 함께 긍정정서를 증진시킬 필요가 있음을 시사한다. This study aimed to investigate the mediating effect of positive emotions on the relationship between the grit and learning flow of Chinese high school students. For this purpose, 318 Chinese high school students were selected to complete a survey. A correlation analysis was performed to check for any correlations among the variables. Using the procedures suggested by Baron and Kenny in 1986, a hierarchical multiple regression was conducted to measure the mediating effect of positive emotions on the relationship between grit and learning engagement. The results were as follows: First, there were significant correlations among grit, positive emotions, and learning engagement. Second, positive emotions exerted a partial mediating effect on the relationship between grit and learning flow. These results suggest that grit and positive emotions can play an important role in increasing high school students learning engagement.
