This paper presents a design method of fuzzy logic controller(FLC). In the proposed method, the parameters of FLC are determined by using Genetic Algorithms(GAs), which is an optimizing algorithm. Two types of FLC are considered. One is FLC with control rules whose fuzzy variables are all assigned by linguistic quantity. The other is FLC with control rules which are inferenced with simplified reasoning. For each FLC, the method of applying the GAs to determine the parameters of the FLC is proposed. By the simulation study for four systems with different characteristic, the usefulness of the proposed design scheme is discussed.

Input shaping is widely accepted to be a useful tool for removing residual vibration in cranes. The UMZV(unity magnitude zero vibration) input shaper is often employed for cranes driven by on-off type motors. However, the UMZV input shaper makes the cranes move slightly further than expected from the original command while it can remove the residual vibration out of the cranes. This paper deals with a method of input shaping scheme which can compensate the position inaccuracy as well as remove the residual vibration of cranes. The proposed method is illustrated through a numerical simulation.

In purchasing goods, today's consumers evaluate goods with its quality before purchasing it. And this change of consumer's understanding and desire for quality will be deepened. In this situation, it is necessary for Korean enterprises to improve productivity by improving and heightening quality and cutting down production costs so as to continue to grow and develop with strengthened international competitive power. In this research, the factors of quality improvement will be shown by offering what dispositions on-the-job supervisors have about 8 factors of quality improvement that Leonard and Sasser offered, according to the characteristics and circumstances of each enterprise in private enterprise type of manufacturing industry. Also in case of the industry whose quality is well-controlled, that is in case of industry whose quality improvement is achieved, rate of investment in quality prevention costs out of quality cost will be increased; and in case of the industry that lays stress on preventing defective quality, total quality cost will be reduced.

□Acceleration control scheme is known to be useful for the robust control of motors. In this paper, a new acceleration control scheme for position control of DC servo motor is proposed. In the proposed scheme, the acceleration of DC servo motor is directly controlled by a FLC(Fuzzy Logic Controller).The robustness of conventional acceleration control system can be improved by introducing FLC which is useful for controlling processes with uncertainties. The robustness of the proposed control scheme to the parameter variation and load disturbance is shown through a simulation study.

This study aims to find a solution promoting sports tourism as the affective plan for tour industry in Mokpo area. This study will define the necessity of sports tourism development and provide the solutive of sports tourism development in Mokpo area by researching and analyzing sports tourism environment and opinons. For the examination objects, sports tourists who visited Mokpo area (Mokpo, Sinan, Muan, Yeongam, Haenam), sports tourism industry workers, politicians for tourism policy, college students, local citizens are referred to, and the samples of examinations objects is drawn out by Stratified Cluster Samplig and Convenient Sampling. Total numbers of samples are 776, but final available samples are 738 excepted 36 who answered thoughtlessly. The question sheet for this for this study compares previous studies of Gibson(1988), Danaher et, al, (1996) and Yoon, Yee-Joong. It is composed to social-population property, tourism experience, divelopment possibility, appraisement for tourism, golf course constrution, marine sports development, etc The way of statistics in this study is technical statistics to examine the general property and cognition of examination objects, T-test and Anova are used for comparing analysis according to population statictic property. The conclusions from the study are as follows : First, pulblic officers, workers of tourism, and the inhabitants have very low level of conscioysness about sports tourism. So the condition of sports, tourism is very poor. Especially the fact that the policy makers have very low level of consciousness about sports tourism is the biggest problem in developing Mokpo area as a modern and international tourism center. Second, the condition and environment of tourism Mokpo area is very poor because of the difficulty of approach. the lack of facilities, the lack of advertisement, and so on. But there are various sports tourism resources such as beautiful tour course of the land and the sea, deaches of Sinan-Keun, places for fishing, diving points for construction of golf course in Haenam and Youngam. Third, Mokpo area has bright prospect in not only the domestic tourism for the tourists of seoul and large cities but also the international tourism for the tourists of Japan, China, and South-east Asia. If the SOC business in Mokpo area are West-coast Highway, Muan International Airport, Mokpo harbor, the removal of provincial office, the construction of double train track, and so on. In addition to this, Mokpo area in the starting point of the southern seashore touting belt which is carried by the government. So Mokpo area has good condition to construct tourism infrastructure and has big potentiality to be the center of sports tourism of Korea. Fourth, it is needed to make and pursue the policy which makes Mokpo area as the center of golf tour, finshing tour and diving tour. The way to do this is like this hold various seminars and debating societies to change the consciousness about sports tourism, and construct golf courses, beaches, associated with sports tourism, it is mecessary to held national sports games, invent sports programs and sports tourism packages connected with local festival, make internet site to advertise sports tourism, and plan political policy to develop the speciality of sports tourism.
지렁이 분변토로부터 황화수소 분해 균주의 분리 및 특성

탈취제로 이용되고 있는 지렁이 분변토로 부터 황화수소를 제거하는 황산화 세균 CP-5를 분리하였다. 이 균주는 운동성이 없고 Gram 음성인 단간균 이었으며, cytochrome oxidase와 catalase test에 양성 반응을 보였다. CP-5 균주는 환원형 황합물을 기질로 하는 배지에서 독립영양적인 생장이 가능하였다. 이 균주는 thiosulfate 에서 tetrathionate를 중간생성물로 하여 최종적으로 sulfate로 산화하고, elemental sulfur를 일단 thiosulfate로 산화한 후, sulfate까지 재산화하는 것으로 사료되었다. 독립영양 배지에 yeast extract 를 첨가하면 균의 생장이 촉진되었다. CP-5 균주 현탁액에 H₂S를 2vvm의 유속으로 주입하면 140ppm까지는 거의 완전하게 제거 가능하였다. 본 연구결과로부터 CP-5 균주는 분변토에서 황화수소를 제거하는 대표적인 탈취균주이며, 황화수소 제거를 위한 생물학적 탈취 공정에 활용 가능하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. A new sulfur-oxidizing bacterium which was capable of degrading hydrogen sulfide was isolated from earthworm casts using deodorant materials. The cell of isolate CP-5 was short rod, gram negative and non-motile, the activities of cytochrome oxidase and catalase were positive. The isolate could autotrophically grow in the basal mineral medium supplemented the reduced sulfur compounds such as thiosulfate and elemental sulfur. This bacterium could oxidize thiosulfate and elemental sulfur to sulfate, and the metabolic intermediates were considered as tetrathionate and thiosulfate, respectively. The removal of hydrogen sulfide by the isolate CP-5 was confirmed, and the CP-5 was regarded as one of microorganisms responsible for degradation of hydrogen sulfide in earthworm casts. The isolate CP-5 can be applied to biodeodorization systems for the improvement of removal efficiency of hydrogen sulfide.
폐경 전후 여성의 신체활동 및 생활습관과 골 밀도 수치와의 관련성

To evaluate the degree of bone mineral density according to physical activity, lifestyle in pre- and postmenopausal women. The subjects were 951 premenopausal and 1,167 postmenopausal women who have examined in health promotion center of Yeungnam University Hospital in Daegu city from January, 1999 to Januaty, 2001. The test for bone mineral density. The physical activity and life style were evaluated by questionaire through interview. The results were summarized as follow. 1) The prevalence rates of reduced bone mineral density and osteoporosis in premenopausal women were 23.8% and 1.6%, respectively. However, these values were increased to 46.1% and 28.1% in postmenopausal women. 2) The regular exercise was revealed to have preventive effect for osteoporosis in pre- and postmenopausal women. Among the types of exercise, the most effective exercise was bowling and moderately effective exercise was swimming on prevention of osteoporosis, however, bare hand physical exercise was not significant effect on bone mineral density. 3) The risk for reducing bone mineral density was decreased in women who have higher educational background and income in pre- and postmenopausal. The bone mineral density was highest in white color worker and lowest in blue color worker. 4) The premenopausal women who favor meat were revealed higher bone mineral density than the women who favor vegetable. The women who have drunk none or small amount of alcohol were revealed increased bone mineral density and smoking was a risk factor for osteoporosis. These results suggested that to prevent osteoporosis, the systemized program for promoting anti-osteoporotic factor have to be developed and apply from the thirties whom have maximal bone mineral density.
요 검사용 스트립의 분광학적 분석을 위한 Computer Simulation

The spectroscopic properties of 9 pads in a urine strip were studied to develop a urine analysis system. From the present work, we determined the wavelength range which could accurately distinguish the degrees of 9 test items. A computer simulation was performed to distinguish the primary color reaction in the urine strips by using the reflectance of the urine strips, the iuminous intensity of light-emitting diodes, and the spectral sensitivity of photodiodes. The simulation results agree well with the experimental results obtained by using a UV-Visible spectrophotometer.
韓國産 夜行性 맵시벌科(벌目: 벌亞目)의 分類學的 硏究

영남대 생물학과에 소장되어 있는 표본과 2001년 4월~2002년 6월 사이에 채집한 표본을 대상으로 하여 한국산 야행성 맵시벌의 분류학적 연구와 출현 현황 및 숙주 관계의 분석을 실시하였다. 분류학적 연구 결과 Gauld(1970)가 영국산 야행성 맵시벌을 대상으로 한 연구에서 기록한 Mesochorinae아과, Tryphonin-ae아과, Ctenoplematinae아과, Ophioninae아과의 4아과외에 Metopinae (Metopius속)를 추가하여 한국산 야행성 맵시벌류는 총 5아과 13속을 기록하였다. 또한 한국산 야행성 맵시벌의 출현 현황을 분석한 결과 야행성으로 잘 알려진 Mesochorinae아과의 Mesochorus속, Tryphoninae아과의 Netelia속과 Ophioninae아과가 전체 야행성 맵시벌 증 95%를 차지하였다. 속별 출현현황을 살펴보면 Netelia속이 393개체가 출현하여 가장 많은 수를 나타내었으며 Ophi-on속, Mesochorus속, Enicopilus속도 전체 출현 분류군 중 높은 비중을 차지하였다. 월별 현황을 살펴보면 전반적으로 4월에서 11월 사이에 걸쳐 나타나는데, Op-hioninae아과는 5월과 7월에, Tryphoninae아과는 6월에 집중적인 출현 빈도를 보였다. 숙주의 분류군에 따른 야행성 맵시벌의 기생 양상을 살펴보면 대부분이 나비목을 대상 숙주로 하고 있으며 Mesochorinae아과와 Ctenopelmatinae아과는 벌목에도 많은 종이 기생하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 Mesochorinae아과의 Cidaphus속은 위생 해충으로 분류되는 기생파리과(Tachinidae)에도 기생하는 것으로 나타나 위생 해충을 구제할 수 있는 천적 분류군으로 연구될 수 있는 가능성을 보였다. 숙주의 식성에 따라 살펴보면 부식성의 먹이를 섭식하는 부식성(saprophagus) 숙주, 곤충의 유충을 섭식하는 식충성(entomophagus)인 숙주가 소수 출현하였고 기생생활(parasite)을 하는 숙주도 다수 출현하였으나 대부분의 야행성 맵시벌의 기생 대상 숙주는 주로 식물을 해하는 식식성 곤충(phytophagus)으로 나타났다. Nocturnal Ichneumonidae, which was called yellow-brown ichneumonoid, included several subfamilies adapted for nocturnal activity. Taxonomic study of nocturnal ichneumonoid has been investigated by Gauld(1975) but examination of Korean nocturnal ichneumonoid has not been provided until now. This present study: the taxonomic revision, Appearance state and Host-parasite relation analysis of nocturnal ichneumonoid, were examined using Korean peninsula specimens. As the result. approximately 13 genera referable to 5 subfamilies appeared regularly in light trap. Genus MetopiudSubfamily Illetopinae) were newly recorded in nocturnal ichneumonoid. Tryphoninae and Ophioninae, which were dominant in appearance taxa! occupied 96% of total numbers of individuals, and majority of them were taken from May to November. Nocturnal ichneumonoid are parasitoids of part of immature holometabolous insects(Coleoptera, Diptera, Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera). Lepidoptera is the most common hosts of nocturnal group except Mesochorinae and Ctenopelmatine. In large number of Mesochorinae are koinobiont hyperparasitoids of ectoparasitic or endoparasitic BraconiddHymenoptera), and, less frequently, of Tachinidae(Diptera1. Also, Ctenopelmatinae are koinobiont endoparasitoids of Symphyta and, rarely, Lepidoptera. Majority of nocturnal ichneumonoid hosts are phytophagous, feeding plant taxa, and many host of Mesochorinae taxa are parastoids, and a few host are saprophagus or entomophagus.
