This study was analyzed the validity and the reliability of evaluation norm, which was used in choosing and grading events of the General Motor Ability Test. The General Motor Ability Test has been done for applicants for entrance to the department of physical education, college of education, Pusan National University. The subjects of this study were 200 applicants(men : 159, women : 41) for three years (1999-2001). They were tested in six events : 1) 100m Dash, 2) 1500m Run (men), 800m Run (women), 3) Wall Bound Pass, 4) Chinning(men),Push Up(wonen), 5) Zig Zag Run, 6) Trunk Flexion. The results could be summerized a s follows: 1. For women, their average records were shown normal distribution in 100m Dash. 1500m Run and Trunk Flexion. But in Wall Bound Pass and Chinning, their records were distributed over two extreme poles. Therefore it's necessary to regulate the interval sizes and rules of Wall Bound pass and Chinning. The interrelation between events were generally reliable. Between 100m Dash and Wall Bound Pass, and between Wall Bound Pass and Chinning are mutually related. so more studies must be done. 2. For women, their average records were shown normal distribution in 100m Dash, 800m Run and Trunk Flextion, too. But the interval sizes of Zig Zag Run. Push Up must be adjusted to higher. Also it's necessary to regulate the interval sizes and rules of Wall Bound Pass like men's instance. it's impossible to analyze correctly interrelation between events because of the small number of subject. From the analysis of the General Motor Ability Test, we could realized the necessity of regulation the standard and interval sizes in several events : Wall Bound Pass and Chinning for men, all events especially Wall Bound Pass for women.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the acute (4 hours) and repeated-dose (6 hours a day, 5 days a week, 4 weeks) toxic effects of I -hexene on Sprague- Dawley (SD) rats which were treated by inhalation. The results were as follows; I. The median lethal concentration (LC_(50)) was estimated 52,694 ppm (confidence limit 95%; 49,494~55,447 ppm) in acute inhalation. Abnormal clinical signs related to the l-Hexene were not observed with the acute inhalation dose. Gross findings of necropsy revealed on evidence of specific toxicity related to the 1-hexene, II. By repeated inhalation exposure the body weight of male were more or less reduced by the dose of 2,500 ppm and 5,000 ppm compared with control group. However there were no significant variation hematology and blood biochemistry for the exposed rats compared with the control rats. Abnormal clinical signs and gross findings of necropsy related to the 1-hexene were not shown. In conclusion when we exposed I-hexene to SD rats for 4 weeks, 5 days per week, 6 hours per day, the Lowest observed effect level (LOEL) was over 2,500 ppm and Non observed effect level (NOEL) was below 500 ppm.

Multiple bilobar liver matastases (MBLM) are the main cause of low resectability in the colon cancer liver metastases. The authors experienced one case of initially non-resectable colon cancer liver metastases. He was curatively and safely treated with a two-stage hepatectomy using the new method of future remnant liver volume growing. A 54-year-old man was referred to our department with the sigmoid colon cancer combined with MBLM, which were checked in two small metastatic lesions in the left lobe and five large sized lesions in the right lobe in the computed tomogram (CT). A laparoscopic assisted anterior resection was primarily performed. We performed the 1^(st) stage hepatectomy 3 weeks after the colon resection. Intra-operative Ultrasonogram (US) found 9 small superficial metastatic lesions in the left lobe. All that lesions were completely removed by non-anatomical wedge resection. An occlusion ballon catheter was placed in the right portal vein through a small branch of the inferior mesenteric vein at that time. The future remnant liver volume was sufficiently increased 3 weeks after the 1^(st) hepatectomy. A right hepatectomy was safely performed 22 days after the 1^(st) hepatectomy. The patient received a regional chemotherapy (interleukin2 based immuno-chemotherapy through hepatic artery) for 4 months, then received 9 cycles of systemic chemotherapy (biweekly Oxaliplation, leucovorin, plus 5-fluorouracil) without any recurrence evidence.

<P><B>Purpose</B></P><P>The Korean society has moved rapidly toward becoming a multicultural society. This study aimed to estimate the seroprevalence of hepatitis viruses and investigate hepatitis B virus (HBV) genotypic diversity in female marriage immigrants.</P><P><B>Materials and Methods</B></P><P>Screening program was conducted at support centers for multicultural families in 21 administrative districts in Korea between July 2011 and January 2017. A total of 963 female marriage immigrants were included in this study. Blood samples were tested for hepatitis viral markers and HBV genotype.</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>Subjects' median age was 33 years (20–40 years), and they originated from nine countries including Vietnam (n=422, 43.8%), China (n=311, 32.3%), the Philippines (n=85, 8.8%), Cambodia (n=58, 6.0%), and Japan (n=39, 4.0%). About 30% (n=288) of subjects required hepatitis A vaccination. HBsAg positive rate was 5.4% (n=52). Positive HBsAg results were the highest in subjects from Southeast Asia (6.6%, n=38). Anti-HBs positive rate was 60.4% (n=582). About 34% (n=329) of subjects who were negative for anti-HBs and HBsAg required HBV vaccinations. Genotypes B and C were found in 54.6% (n=12) and 45.4% (n=10) of the 22 subjects with HBV, in whom genotypes were tested. Eight (0.8%) subjects were positive for anti-HCV. Positive anti-HCV results were the highest in subjects from Central Asia (7.9%, n=3).</P><P><B>Conclusion</B></P><P>Testing for hepatitis viral marker (hepatitis A virus IgG and HBsAg/anti-HBs) is needed for female marriage immigrants. Especially, HBV genotype B is different from genotype C of Koreans. Therefore, interest and attention to vaccination programs for female marriage immigrants are necessary for both clinicians and public health institutes.</P>

<P>Manufacturing high-quality, two-dimensional (2D), layered materials with crystal-growth techniques is an important challenge for the advancement of 2D communication technologies. In this study, a simple method was developed for synthesizing 2D nanocrystals based on the model system of SnS2. The method involves the sulfurization of a metal oxide to a metal chalcogenide, which subsequently acts as a source of vapors for the growth of 2D crystals. The effect of the annealing conditions on the thermal sulfurization of SnO2 powder was investigated. The results showed that pure SnS2 powder could be obtained in a N-2 atmosphere at 700 degrees C. SnS2 nanocrystals were successfully synthesized from the as-prepared SnS2 powder by the vapor transport method. The synthesized SnS2 nanocrystals had a 2D layered structure with hexagonal symmetry and exhibited typical n-type semiconducting characteristics, with an optical band gap of 2.05 eV. This novel method, which uses a preferentially prepared source for vapor transport, could provide a simple way to synthesize new types of 2D layered materials. This is because it only requires the volatilization of a source and subsequent condensation to a single crystal for the growth of 2D materials, with no complex chemical reactions occurring during vapor transport.</P>

It is important to evaluate the effect in the maintenance of steel bridge because the fatigue of the bridge is affected by the structural characteristic of bridge such as structure type, span and steel grade, etc. In this study, we analyzed the effect of fatigue strength by the changes of span of the bridge and the steel grade in many factors which have influence on the fatigue life of the bridge. For this analysis, we selected the objective bridges and performed the structural analyses for the various parameters such as span and steel grade. The fatigue evaluations were carried out by FAST which is a program for fatigue estimation and the results were compared.
