This thesis aims to research on a method of teaching poetry writing using photography. To accomplish this purpose, I analyzed the students` poems in middle school. This texts were students` activity results of writing a poem text using photography as a means of making poetic idea. The main idea is that the process of writing poetry is analogous to photography a They are similar to each other in framing something of the world and finding the moment of truth. The photo also call to the remembrances of the students` lives to make poetic ideas. I define photographic act as taking the photo or selecting the photo inspiring emotional feelings. In making poetic ideas the students can use multimodal literacy about poetry and photography. The main findings of the study are as follows: Firstly, using photographic act embodies the process of making poetic ideas in writing. Poems show the self-reflection, the focus on their everyday life and the reflections of images. Secondly, using photographic act is the effective way of creating metaphor. When students write their poems on the subject of emotional concepts like happiness and love, photographic act helps create metaphor. I suggests that collaborative study between the different media genres like photography and poetry needs to take the extensive contents and effective methods in Korean education
상호텍스트적 시 양상을 통해 본시 창작 교육의 방향 -김정희의 문인화 <세한도>와 "세한도" 시편을 중심으로-

이 연구는 김정희의 문인화 세한도와 세한도의 영향 아래 창작된 세한도 시편들을 대상으로 상호텍스트적 관계 양상을 살펴보고 이를 시 창작 교육에 활용할 수 있는 방안을 구안하고자 하였다. 세한도 시편들은 그 양과 다양성에 있어, 창작주체의 문화예술적 체험이 시쓰기로 이어지는 다양한 양상을 살펴보기에 충분하여 좋은 연구 대상이다. 세한도 시편들에서 화자는 김정희로 추정되는 허구적 화자와 시인으로 추정되는 화자 모두 나타났으며, 시적 대상 역시 그림 <세한도>와 김정희를 주된 대상으로 하는 것 외에도 세한도에 얽힌 기억, 그림 세한도와 무관한 창작 주체의 경험 등 폭넓은 양상을 보였다. 세한도와 세한도 시편에 대한 분석을 바탕으로 시 창작 교육에서 활용할 수 있는 네 가지 교육 방안을 제안하였으며, 교과 간 융복합교육의 구체적인 연계 방법도 시사하였다. The purpose of this study is to look into some aspects of intertextual poetry writing that we can find in ‘Sehando’, a literati paining of Kim Jeonghee, and modern poems written under the influence of it. In this study, the intertextuality is introduced into the field of poetry writing. This study surveys some ‘Sehando’ poems in terms of speaker and object in poems and it is suggested four methods of poetry writing education. It can be concluded that poetry writing can be inspired by the evaluation and appreciation of a cultural and artistic text. And in Convergence education it can be how poetry writing is taught. This study is helpful, expanding and improving contents and methods of poerty writing education in middle schools.

This study tried to figure out the use of Intertextuality for various interpretation of poems. It is not focused on intertextuality between same genre as literature, but on intertextuality between different genre as poems and films. It is aimed for readers to use intertextual experience from other media when using the intertextuality. It is analysed to Kim Ki-lim`s poems from 1930 Modernism period, which intertextuality clearly stands out between media. Kim Ki-lim has mentioned the relations between films and poems, and he started writing poems with intertextual relationship in his mind. It is tried to figure out similarities between Kim Ki-lim poem`s formal and content characteristics and the film`s formal and content characteristics. The intertextuality that appeared in Kim Ki-lim`s poems is choosing camera`s view, applying cinematic technique called montage on poems, and more objective attitude than emotion in poems about tour which used modern transportation. It is suggested to choose viewpoint before reading poems, and to use intertextual experience and analogic imagination when reading poems. Intertextuality between films and poems helps interpretation by readers and acts as a scaffolding role. Through this, the students can accomplish the wider understanding about poems. To apply intertextuality between poems and films on to poetry education, we need information, experience, and ability to interpret about poems and films. Therefore, it is an appropriate education for upper highschool level.

Objectives: To review research trends in the treatment of epilepsy with Traditional Korean Medicine. Methods: Thirteen studies were selected by searching OASIS, RISS, SIENCEON, KISS, KoreaMed, and KMBASE from 2000.01.01 to 2021.08.28. Results: Studies were analyzed by year, format, publication site, age of patient, treatment method, follow-up study, herbal treatment, acupuncture, and limitations. Analysis confirmed that oriental medical treatment was sufficiently effective in relieving symptoms of epilepsy. Conclusions: Acupuncture and herbal medicine could be considered to relieve symptoms of epilepsy. However, due to some limitations in those studies, more in-depth and broader research is needed in the future.

Rare neurovascular diseases (RNVDs) have not been well-recognized in Korea. They involve the central nervous system and greatly affect the patients’ lives. However, these diseases are difficult to diagnose and treat due to their rarity and incurability. We established a list of RNVDs by referring to the previous literature and databases worldwide to better understand the diseases and their current management status. We categorized 68 RNVDs based on their pathophysiology and clinical manifestations and estimated the prevalence of each disease in Korea. Recent advances in genetic, molecular, and developmental research have enabled further understanding of these RNVDs. Herein, we review each disease, while considering its classification based on updated pathologic mechanisms, and discuss the management status of RNVD in Korea.

<P>Although acute myeloid leukemia (AML) exhibits diverse responses to chemotherapy, patients harboring the t(8;21) translocation are part of a favorable risk group. However, the reason why this subgroup is more responsive to cytarabine-based therapy has not been elucidated. In the present study, we analyzed expression levels of cytarabine metabolism-related genes in patients diagnosed with AML with or without t(8;21) and investigated their correlation with clinical outcomes after cytarabine-based therapy. Among the 8 genes studied, expression of the concentrative nucleoside transporter 3 (CNT3) gene was significantly higher in t(8;21)-positive patients compared to the others in the test population and the validation cohort (P<0.001 in Mann-Whitney U test; P<0.002 in Pearson's correlation analysis). Additionally, in both multivariate and univariate analyses, t(8;21)-positive patients categorized in a higher CNT3 expression tertile had longer disease-free survival [hazard ratio (HR), 0.117; 95% confidence interval (CI), 0.025-0.557; P=0.008] and overall survival (HR, 0.062; 95% CI, 0.007-0.521; P=0.010) compared to t(8;21)-positive patients in a lower CNT3 expression tertile. Notably, these trends did not occur in t(8;21)-negative patients. Our results demonstrate that CNT3 expression is associated with overall favorable outcomes and is predictive of clinical outcomes in AML patients with t(8;21). This suggests that CNT3 expression can be used to optimize treatment strategies for AML patients.</P>

KAF-200522 and its chloride form, KAF-200522-HCl, were invented in Chemon inc. as new triazole antifungal agents with excellent activities in vivo and in vitro against wide range of fungi. As a result of in vitro susceptibility measurements, 80% minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC??) of both test articles against Candida albican sp. and Aspergillus fumigatus sp. were below 0.0156 ㎍/mL, which were over 4,100 times lower than those of fluconazole against fluconazole resistant C. albican sp. and A. fumigatus sp., and were over 16 times lower than those of amphotericin B against above same fungi. Additionally, against representative dermatophytes, Trichophyton sp., the MIC??s of both test articles were below 0.0156 ㎍/mL which were over 64 times lower than those of fluconazole and amphotericin B. As in vivo antifungal activities in A. fumigatus sp. infected mouse models, KAF-200522 treatment group at 600 ㎎/㎏ showed 80% survival rate which was 2 times higher than that of amphotericin B and showed 13.7 days in the mean survival time (MST) which was about 2.1 times higher than that of amphotericin B. But in KAF-200522-HCl treatment groups, all animals were found dead in contrast to 40% survival rate in amphotericin B treatment group, however dose dependent increases in MST was revealed. In conclusion, antifungal activities of KAF-200522 and its mimics, KAF-200522-HCl in vitro and in vivo were confirmed in this study, therefore the potentiality of the present compounds to be developed into new antifungal drug was expected.
Orientation and deformation of FENE dumbbells in confined microchannel and contraction flow geometry

The orientation and deformation of polymer chains in a confined channel flow has been investigated. The polymer chain was modeled as a Finitely Extensible Nonlinear Elastic (FENE) dumbbell. The Brownian configuration field method was extended to take the interaction between the flow and local chain dynamics into account. Drag and Brownian forces were treated as anisotropic in order to reflect the influence of the wall in the confined flow. Both Poiseuille flow and 4 : 1 contraction flow were considered. Of particular interest was molecular tumbling of polymer chains near the wall. It was strongly influenced by anisotropic drag and high shear close to the wall. We discussed the mechanism of this particular behavior in terms of the governing forces. The dumbbell configuration was determined not only by the wall interaction but also by the flow type of the geometric origin. The effect of extensional flow on dumbbell configuration was also discussed by comparing with the Poiseuille flow.
