        A Comparable Study on the Microwave Absorption Properties of Al/Fe/Co Doped OMC/Paraffin Wax Composites

        Al/Fe/Co doped ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC) composites have been synthesized by a facile method, and the influence of dopant on the electromagnetic (EM) and microwave absorption properties was investigated in the frequency range of 2–18 GHz. Compared with Fe/Co– OMC composites, the Al–OMC nanocomposite played a great role in adjusting values and frequency dependence of complex permittivity, which gives rise to significant improved microwave absorption and reduced thickness of the corresponding paraffin wax composites. Reflection loss (RL) values less than -5 dB and -10 dB were obtained in the frequency range of 9.2–18 GHz and 10.7–14.7 GHz with a single thickness of 2.00 mm, respectively. Such enhanced EM wave absorption property of the Al–OMC/paraffin wax composite was ascribed to its superior impedance matching characteristic. Thin thickness, broadband absorption microwave absorbers with Al doped OMC nanocomposites were obtained.

        Purification and Characteristics of Serine Protease from the Head of Pacific White Shrimp

        Serine protease from the head of Pacific white shrimp was purified by the following techniques: ammonium sulfate fractionation, Q-Sepharose HP ion exchange chromatography, and Sephadex G-100 gel filtration. The molecular weight was estimated as 32.8 kDa using SDSPAGE. The optimum pH and temperature of the enzyme for the hydrolysis of casein were determined to be 10.0 and 40oC. It was stable at pH range from 8.0 to 11.0 and had good thermal stability. Pb2+, Ca2+, Mg2+, Cu2+, and Mn2+could active the enzyme certainly when Zn2+and Hg2+strongly inhibited the activity. The enzyme was inhibited by the general serine protease inhibitor (PMSF) and the specific trypsin inhibitors (TLCK, SBTI). The modification of various amino acid modifiers for the purified enzyme determined that the enzyme active center included tryptophan,histidine, and serine, moreover, arginine had a certain relationship with the enzyme activity.

        Preparation and Antioxidant Activities In Vitro of a Designed Antioxidant Peptide from Pinctada fucata by Recombinant Escherichia coli

        An antioxidant peptide derived from Pinctada fucata meat using an Alcalase2.4L enzymatic hydrolysis method (named AOP) and identified by LC-TOF-MS has promising clinical potential for generating cosmetic products that protect skin from sunshine. To date, there have been few published studies investigating the structure-activity relationship in these peptides. To prepare antioxidant peptides better and improve their stability, the design and expression of an antioxidant peptide from Pinctada fucata (named DSAOP) was studied. The peptide contains a common precursor of an expression vector containing an α-helix tandemly linked according to the BamHI restriction sites. The DNA fragments encoding DSAOP were synthesized and subcloned into the expression vector pET-30a (+), and the peptide was expressed mostly as soluble protein in recombinant Escherichia coli. Meanwhile, the DPPH radical scavenging activity, superoxide radical scavenging activity, and hydroxyl radical scavenging activity of DSAOP IC50 values were 0.136 ± 0.006, 0.625 ± 0.025, and 0.306 ± 0.015 mg/ml, respectively, with 2-fold higher DPPH radical scavenging activity compared with chemosynthesized AOP (p < 0.05), as well as higher superoxide radical scavenging activity compared with natural AOP (p < 0.05). This preparation method was at the international advanced level. Furthermore, pilot-scale production results showed that DSAOP was expressed successfully in fermenter cultures, which indicated that the design strategy and expression methods would be useful for obtaining substantial amounts of stable peptides at low costs. These results showed that DSAOP produced with recombinant Escherichia coli could be useful in cosmetic skin care products, health foods, and pharmaceuticals.

        A Scheme of the Dance Curriculum for the Transmission of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) in the Chinese University

        The aim of this study was to analyze the importance of the current state and improvement plans, for the transmission of ICH, in the curriculums of the dance departments of China’s universities. To this end, we conducted a literature review on the curriculums of the dance departments of five leading local universities of China and applied the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to derive objective results using expert experiences. The finding is as follows: As upper factors, administration and finance, organization, professional manpower and educational program were set as four factors in opening the ICH dance curriculum of Chinese University Dance Department, along with the sub-factors. We analyzed the perceived priority of the opening the ICH dance curriculum of Chinese University Dance Department factors, and found that ‘professional manpower and educational program’ was considered most important at the weight of 43.6%, followed by ‘administration and finance,’ at 25.6%, ‘educational environment and facilities,’ at 20.5%, and ‘organization,’ at 10.3%

      • Construction of Agricultural E-commerce Platform in China

        The decentralized management of agricultural production is inconsistent with the big market and circulation in China. Agricultural e-commerce platform can help connecting supply and demand better. The paper analyzes the application and characteristics of agricultural e-commerce in China and points out that the construction of agricultural e-commerce platform is the first step in the development of agricultural e-commerce. Combined with the situation and characteristics of the Chinese agriculture, several construction frames are given for the development of agricultural e-commerce platform. For example, big enterprises build third party agricultural public trade platform under the guide of the government based on market operation. And then local government may lead to construct collaborative agricultural e-commerce platform to integrate the local resources. At the same time, some strategies should also be implemented in order to realize the sustainable development of the platform, especially the application of mobile e-commerce.

        델파이 기법을 활용한 중국 대학 무용학과 무형문화재 교육과정의 편성 및 운영 방안 모색

        본 연구의 목적은 중국 대학 무용학과에서 국가 무형문화재 무용의 전승을 위한 전문교육과정을 편성하고 운영하기 위한 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 중국 대학의 무형문화재 무용 전승 프로젝트 정책 계획과 실행에 참여한 실무자, 프로젝트 참여자 및 전수자, 무형문화재 무용 프로그램 개발 경험이 있는 대학 현장 교강사 등 전문가집단 28명을 대상으로 델파이 기법(Delphi Method)을 활용한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 중국 대학 무용학과의 무형문화재 무용 교육과정 편성 및 운영 방안에 관한 요인은 ‘행정 및 재정’, ‘조직’, ‘교육환경 및 시설’, ‘전문인력 및 교육 프로그램’ 등 4개의 항목으로 범주화되었으며 24개의 세부 요인이 도출되었다. 이를 통해 중국 대학에서 무형문화유산으로서 무용의 보존과 전승을 위한 전문 교육시스템 구축을 제안하였다. The purpose of this study is to find a way to organize and implement professional curriculum for the transmission of dance as a national intangible cultural heritage in the dance department of Chinese universities. To this end, a survey was conducted using the delphi method of 28 experts, including practitioners, project participants and completers who participated in the policy planning and implementation of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Dance Project at Chinese universities, and university field instructors with experience in developing intangible cultural property dance programs. As a result, the factors related to the composition and operation of the dance curriculum for intangible cultural properties of the dance department of the Chinese University were categorized into four items: 'administration and finance', 'organization', 'education environment and facilities', and ‘professional manpower and educational program’ and 24 detailed factors were derived. Through this, Chinese universities proposed the establishment of a professional education system for the preservation and transfer of dance as an intangible cultural heritage.

        Microwave Absorption Properties of Fe-Doped Ordered Mesoporous Carbon (CMK-3)/Silica Matrix Nanocomposites with Magnetic Multi-Resonance Mechanisms

        Low-density Fe-doped ordered mesoporous carbon (CMK-3)-silica (SBA-15) nanocomposites with different Fe contents have been prepared by a catalytic carbonization procedure followed by high-temperature calcination in N2. From field emission-scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) and high resolution-transmission electron microscope (HR-TEM) images, it can be concluded that CMK-3 particles are dispersed homogeneously into a silica matrix and form a novel, special and interesting composite nanostructure. The metal species (~18 nm) are dispersed on the surface of frameworks during the catalytic carbonization procedure and endow a magnetic property to the carbon–silica nanocomposites. The optimal reflection loss (RL) calculated from the measured permittivity and permeability is -19 dB at 17.2 GHz for an absorber thickness of 2.00 mm. Moreover, the electromagnetic (EM) wave absorption less than -10 dB is found to exceed 5.76 GHz as the layer thickness is 2.37 mm. The permittivity dispersion behaviors have been explained based on the Cole–Cole model and the conductivity contribution model. A new simple empirical model was also supposed to find the fitted curves of the multi-resonance imaginary permeability spectra of the composites. The EM wave can hardly be reflected on the absorber surface because of a better match between dielectric loss and magnetic loss, which originates from the combination of dielectric carbon–silica and magnetic Fe species.

        Research on grain composition, grain size and electrical conductivity of the CuCr1-xMgxO2 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.08)

        A series of layered CuCr1-xMgxO2 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.08) polycrystalline ceramics were prepared. The effects of substituting Mg2+cations for Cr3+ cations on the grain composition, grain size, grain quantity, and electrical conductivity were investigated. When x = 0–0.04, the distinct layered structure grain grew rapidly with the increase of magnesium in the composition, andthe average grain size increased from 2.5 μm (x = 0) to 15 μm (x = 0.04) due to the decrease of activation energy. Furthermore,the bulk density and lattice constant also reached the maximum and minimum values of 4.367 g/cm3 and 17.083 respectivelyat x = 0.04. When x = 0.05–0.08, the average grain size slightly decreased due to the grown-up second-phase MgCr2O4hindering of grain growth. The results showed that the average size of the second-phase MgCr2O4 had reached 1.3 μm whenx = 0.04. In general, the larger the grain size of polycrystalline ceramics, the more defects in the grain boundaries, and thebetter its electrical conductivity. Therefore, the solid-phase reaction, which can obtain larger grain size and more grainboundary defects, was chosen here to prepare CuCr1-xMgxO2 polycrystalline ceramics, so as to obtain a highly conductiveCuCr1-xMgxO2 ceramic material. The minimum resistivity of the obtained CuCr0.6Mg0.4O2 polycrystalline ceramic is only 0.091Ω·cm, which is of great significance for the development of transparent conductive oxides.

        Identification of Mouse MARVELD1 as a Microtu-bule Associated Protein that Inhibits Cell Cycle Progression and Migration

        MARVEL domain-containing 1 (MARVELD1) is a newly identified nuclear protein; however its function has not been clear until now. Here, we report that mouse MARVELD1(mMARVELD1), which is highly conserved between mice and humans, exhibits cell cycle-dependent cellular localization. In NIH3T3 cells, MARVELD1 was observed in the nucleus and at the perinuclear region during interphase,but was localized at the mitotic spindle and midbody at metaphase, and a significant fraction of mMARVELD1translocated to the plasma membrane during anaphase. In addition, treatment of cells with colchicine, a microtubuledepolymerizing agent, resulted in translocation of mMARVELD1to the plasma membrane, and association of mMARVELD1 and α-tubulin was confirmed by co-immunoprecipitation. Finally, overexpression of mMARVELD1 resulted in a remarkable inhibition of cell proliferation, G1-phase arrest, and reduced cell migration. These findings indicate that mMARVELD1 is a microtubule-associated protein that plays an important role in cell cycle progression and migration.
