        항정신병약물을 처음으로 사용하는 초발 정신증 환자에서 나타나는 체중 및 대사성 지표의 변화 : 후향적 연구

        Objectives:This study was to identify weight & metabolic changes in first-episode psychotic patients with antipsychotics use and investigate the differences of weight & metabolic changes between first-episode psychotic patients and controls with antipsychotics use. Method:In this retrospective study, twenty eight first-episode psychotic patients and twenty eight controls with schizophrenia, schizoaffective or bipolar disorder defined by DSM-IV criteria were included. Information about demographic and clinical characteristics of the subjects was gathered from the medical records. Also body weight, sBP, dBP, fasting glucose, lipid profile and WBC count were evaluated before and after antipsychotics use. Rogistic regression was conducted to assess factors associated with weight gain. Results:First-episode psychotic patients showed more weight and BMI changes than controls after antipsychotics use, and these changes continue over 12 months. On the other hand, there were no significant factors associated with weight gain. Conclusion:The results of present study suggest that antispychotics is one of the major causes inducing weight gain of psychotic patients and antipsychotics-induced weight gain is more vulnerable to drug-naive first-episode psychotic patients.

        This study is to clarify the characteristics of the type of view on a prospect from the road view, approach to the purpose of the maintenance plan of the road view. First, in the viewpoint of view is understanding meaning of the road, the method come into contact with a road view. Second, in the view appear an object land is grouping to the road view and presentation to a point in dispute and a settlement. This study have the keynote to different a form of view depend on viewpoint in a point view of prospect of road view, it will be presentation of practice method to the maintenance plan of the road view of the future.

        Recently, damage to the civil infrastructures caused by the natural disaster has been occurred frequently. As a reason, the evaluation of the damage for existing structures as well as new construction is necessary to be considered significantly. The most preferred way to evaluate the structural behavior and the effectiveness is against the real structure, but it requires a lot of time and resources in the process. To circumvent these difficulties, a commercial finite element analysis program is mainly used in the research to analyse the structural performance and effectiveness. Among several commercial structural analysis programs, SAP2000 is adopted in this research since it provides easy way of real structural modeling and make it possible to operate simply.

        Recently, small and medium sized cities are to be a new limelight in developing countries. Because, they have performed important roles in promoting are spreading economic and social development of the country. I can assert that it is the optimum time to smooth out difference between regions, to activate local small and medium cities at this time. Because the recognition against polarization reversal on the dispersal policies than the first stage of the powerful trend of concentrative development. This study is concerned with all small and medium sized cities in Kore.a, and has two main purpose. First one is to select the general analysis variables affecting urban growth from existing theoretical literatures, Second one is to identify the dominant factor and their change for the growth of small and medium sized cities in Korea through the analysis of correlation with growth rate. The basic goal of this treatise puts on emphasize to issue the problems through looking into realities and functional roles of small and medium cities in the urban system for the past 10 years in Korea, to find out alternative method in order to activate the strengthening of foundation and functional activity of local small and medium cities by analyzing the relevancy between functional character and growth potentiality of individual cities.

        ORP profile을 이용한 연속 회분식 반응기(Sequencing Batch Rector)에서 무산소공정 추론

        The SBR(Sequencing Batch Reactor) process is ideally suited to treat high loading wastewater due to its high dilution rate. SBR operates by a cycle of periods consisting of filling, reacting, settling, decanting and idling. The react phases such as aeration or non-aeration, organic oxidation, nitrification, denitrification and other biological reactions can be achieved in a reactor. Although the whole reactions can be achieved in a SBR with time distributing, it is hard to manage the SBR as a normal condition without recognizing a present state. The present state can be observed with nutrient sensors such as NH₄^(-)-N, NO₂^(-)-N, NO₃^(-)-N and PO₄^(3-)-P. However, there is still a disadvantage to use the nutrient sensors because of their high expense and inconvenience to manage. Therefore, it is very useful to use common on-line sensors such as DO, ORP and pH, which are less expensive and more convient. Moreover, the present states and unexpected changes of SBR might be predicted by using of them. This study was conducted to get basic materials for making an inference of SBR process from ORP(oxidation reduction potential) of synthetic wastewater. The profiles of ORP, DO, and pH were under normal nitrification and denitrification were obtained to compare abnormal condition. And also, nitrite and nitrate accumulation were investigated during reaction of SBR. The bending point on ORP profile was not entirely in the low COD/NOx ratio condition. In this case, NOx was not entirely removed, and minimum ORP value was presented over -300mV. Under suitable COD/NOx ratio which complete denitrification was achieved, ORP bending point was observed and minimum ORP value was under -300mV. Under high COD/NOx ratio, ORP bending point was not detected at the first subcycle because of the fast denitrification and minimum ORP value was under -300mV at the time.

      • 실리카흄을 흔입한 고강도 콘크리트 개발

        콘크리트 구조물이 대형화됨에 따라 설계단면이 증대되어 상대적으로 많은 경제적 손실을 부담하게 된다. 따라서 단면을 감소시키면서도 소요의 하중에 안전한 구조물을 건설하기 위해서는 우선적으로 구조물 건설에 기초가 되는 고품질, 고내구성의 고강도 콘크리트 개발이 절실히 요구된다 본 연구에서는 일정 시멘트비 및 혼화재 비율하에서 소요의 워커빌리티가 확보되는 고강도 콘크리트를 시간과 온도의 변화에 따라 증기 양생하여, 압축, 인장, 휨강도 뿐만 아니라 파괴특성을 실험적으로 연구하였다. 시료 제작시 시멘트 입자 사이의 공극 및 불연속 영역을 충전하여 고밀도화하기 위한 콘크리트용 혼화재로 시멘트 비표면적이 상당히 작은 초미립 분말인 실리카흄을 이용하였다. 또한 AE감수제 및 고성능 유동화제를 사용하여 혼화재의 첨가에 의하여 발생될 수 있는 워커빌리티의 감소를 방지하였다. 실험결과에 의하면 일정 양생 지속 시간하에서 온도의 증가에 따라 콘크리트의 압축, 인장 및 휨강도가 전반적으로 증가하였다. 동일하게 일정 온도하에서 양생 지속시간이 커짐에 따라 강도들이 증가됨을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 상대적으로 높은 온도와 긴 지속 양생 조건하에서 파괴에 대한 저항력이 크게 나타났다. The compressible, tensible, and flexibleresistance of the high strength concrete is analyzed by the experimentation in the present study. For the test, we cure several samples with the silica fume as a mixture being become dense the spaces between the particle of cement under the variation of both the temperature and the curing-interval. Then, the superplasticizer and the ezcon are also used to satisfy the required workability for construction. The compressible, tensible, and flexible resistances to a stress are increased as increasing the temperature and the time interval for the curing. Therefore it is concluded that the overal fractural and mechanical properties is improved by mixing the silica fume into the cement.

        The purpose of this study is to determine the ageing mechanism of Mica/Epoxy composite material for large generator stator windings in order to estimate remaining life of generator. X-ray analysis is performed to investigate the position and structure of mica crystal in insulation materials. The phase change of aged and sound specimen under each atmosphere isn't observed. Surface analysis of insulation materials by optical microscope also show that the sound and aged specimen, sliding phenomenon by shear and thermal stress is observed both interface between mica and epoxy.

      • Role of Maltogenic Amylase and Pullulanase in Maltodextrin and Glycogen Metabolism of Bacillus subtilis 168

        <B>ABSTRACT</B><P>The physiological functions of two amylolytic enzymes, a maltogenic amylase (MAase) encoded by <I>yvdF</I> and a debranching enzyme (pullulanase) encoded by <I>amyX</I>, in the carbohydrate metabolism of <I>Bacillus subtilis</I> 168 were investigated using <I>yvdF</I>, <I>amyX</I>, and <I>yvdF amyX</I> mutant strains. An immunolocalization study revealed that YvdF was distributed on both sides of the cytoplasmic membrane and in the periplasm during vegetative growth but in the cytoplasm of prespores. Small carbohydrates such as maltoheptaose and β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) taken up by wild-type <I>B. subtilis</I> cells via two distinct transporters, the Mdx and Cyc ABC transporters, respectively, were hydrolyzed immediately to form smaller or linear maltodextrins. On the other hand, the <I>yvdF</I> mutant exhibited limited degradation of the substrates, indicating that, in the wild type, maltodextrins and β-CD were hydrolyzed by MAase while being taken up by the bacterium. With glycogen and branched β-CDs as substrates, pullulanase showed high-level specificity for the hydrolysis of the outer side chains of glycogen with three to five glucosyl residues. To investigate the roles of MAase and pullulanase in glycogen utilization, the following glycogen-overproducing strains were constructed: a <I>glg</I> mutant with a wild-type background, <I>yvdF glg</I> and <I>amyX glg</I> mutants, and a <I>glg</I> mutant with a double mutant (DM) background. The <I>amyX glg</I> and <I>glg</I> DM strains accumulated significantly larger amounts of glycogen than the <I>glg</I> mutant, while the <I>yvdF glg</I> strain accumulated an intermediate amount. Glycogen samples from the <I>amyX glg</I> and <I>glg</I> DM strains exhibited average molecular masses two and three times larger, respectively, than that of glycogen from the <I>glg</I> mutant. The results suggested that glycogen breakdown may be a sequential process that involves pullulanase and MAase, whereby pullulanase hydrolyzes the α-1,6-glycosidic linkage at the branch point to release a linear maltooligosaccharide that is then hydrolyzed into maltose and maltotriose by MAase.</P>

      • Evaluation of Small Intestine Submucosa and Poly(caprolactone-<i>co</i>-lactide) Conduits for Peripheral Nerve Regeneration

        <P>The present study employed nerve guidance conduits (NGCs) only, which were made of small intestine submucosa (SIS) and poly(caprolactone-co-lactide) (PCLA) to promote nerve regeneration in a peripheral nerve injury (PNI) model with nerve defects of 15?mm. The SIS- and PCLA-NGCs were easily prepared by rolling of a SIS sheet and a bioplotter using PCLA, respectively. The prepared SIS- and PCLA-NGCs fulfilled the general requirement for use as artificial peripheral NGCs such as easy fabrication, reproducibility for mass production, suturability, sterilizability, wettability, and proper mechanical properties to resist collapsing when applied to in vivo implantation. The SIS- and PCLA-NGCs appeared to be well integrated into the host sciatic nerve without causing dislocations and serious inflammation. All NGCs stably maintained their NGC shape for 8 weeks without collapsing, which matched well with the nerve regeneration rate. Staining of the NGCs in the longitudinal direction showed that the regenerated nerves grew successfully from the SIS- and PCLA-NGCs through the sciatic nerve-injured gap and connected from the proximal to distal direction along the NGC axis. SIS-NGCs exhibited a higher nerve regeneration rate than PCLA-NGCs. Collectively, our results indicate that SIS- and PCLA-NGCs induced nerve regeneration in a PNI model, a finding that has significant implications in the future with regard to the feasibility of clinical nerve regeneration with SIS- and PCLA-NGCs prepared through an easy fabrication method using promising biomaterials.</P>
