The purpose of this study is to investigate alteration situation and user demand through the case study, to analyze the problems of the user participatory design, and to propose the improvement direction of user participation in the apartment housing. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The method of participatory design using a questionary must be improved with other communication methods between suppliers and users to adapt to the demands of users. 2) The range of menu and the time of participation must be varied to select various materials, colors, types of the interior finish and floor plan freely according to users. 3) Users have the positive attitude about the menu-option method and want to other methods of participatory design like the flexible housing method.

신도시주의에 의해 개발된 도시의 공간구조 특성 분석에 관한 연구

This study focuses on analyzing the characteristics of spatial structure of the new urbanism city by using analysis frame spatial structure, land use, street system and residential structure. In order to analyze spacial structure, we surveyed the relation of urban center, urban core and axis; in land use item, we surveyed the current land use and its rate; in street system which forms the basic frame of city, we surveyed the traffic line of vehicles and pedestrians in residential structure, we surveyed the relations of street system and residential tissue and the way of subdivision and detailed approach to each house. As a result, this study shows that the spacial structure by new urbanism has definite border between center and edge; the three dimensional design control of city appearance through the transect is enforced; high density and mixed uses are encouraged in center; by designing the city transit-oriented system and considering street system emphasizing the centralization, the city could be more livable to its dwellers.

Tourism is the largest commodity in international trade. Tourism has grown rapidly to become a major social and economic force in the world. Cultural tourism covers all aspects of travel whereby people learn about each other's ways of life and thought. Tourism is thus an important means of promoting cultural relations and international cooperation. It is used to promote not only knowledge and understanding but also a favorable image of the local region among tourists in the travel market. The channels through with a region presents itself to tourist can be considered its cultural factors. These are the entertainment, food, ink, hospitality, architecture, manufactured and handcrafted products of a country, and all other characteristics of a country's way of life. The useful clues are as follows; First, Successful tourism is not simply a matter of having better transportation and hotels but of adding a particular flavor in keeping with traditional ways of life and projecting a favorable image of the benefits to tourists of such goods and services. Second, cultural attractions must be presented intelligently and creative- By. In this age of uniformity, the products of one region are almost indistinguishable from those of another. Third, many activities that are not educational or cultural in a narrow sense provide opportunities for people of different regions to get to know each other. Finally, in anticipation of World Cup Games in 2002, ASEM, this study for Cultural Tourism Event Industry should be reinforced and reexamined deeply relating to the constant changing macro environment and market situation in Korea.

청소년자원봉사자의 효율적인 관리방안에 대한 연구

The purpose of this study is to analyze the volunteer activities of the youth. Todays society has an increasing demand and necessity for voluntary service, youth volunteer activities which have become a major social educational issue. These activities were expected to contribute to increase of public benefits and rebuilding of community as well as ego-realization and promotion of social mind of the youth. Thus in order to activate the youth volunteer activities, it is necessary to understanding, education and evaluation of youth volunteer activities.

건축물 건설단계에서의 에너지소비량 및 CO₂배출량 원단위 산출

The purpose of this study is to establish the database that could be applied to the building LCA Firstly, in this paper, the methodologies of building LCA and energy based I/O model for estimating embodied energy of building materials were examined Then, the intensity of energy consumption and CO₂ emission for building materials and construction stage were estimated The intensity database for building materials calculated by the I/O table published in 2000 was compared with the database by the I/O table published in 1995 According to the result of comparison, there were a little differences between the results calculated by the new and the previous data, and two results showed nearly the same patterns So, it could be said that the industrial activity change has little effect on the energy intensity of building materials during the past 5 years For the calculation of the energy intensity in the construction stages, the payment documents of an ad and electricity consumptions during construction for the sample buildings were surveyed and the intensity per a building gross area were calculated The database presented in this paper could be applied to the building LCA process as the basic data for analysing global worming effect caused by building construction

고장모드 분석 프로그램을 통한 공작기계의 신뢰성 평가

For reliability assessment for machine tools, failure mode analyses by two viewpoints were studied in this paper. First, this study developed the reliability data analysis program, which searches for optimal failure distribution like failure rate or MTBF(Mean Time Between Failure) using failure data and reliability test data of mechanical parts in the web. Moreover, this data analysis program saves both failure data or reliability test data and their failure rate or MTBF for database establishment. Second, this paper conducted failure mode analysis through such performance tests as circular movement test and vibration testing for machine tools when reliability data is not available. A developed web-based analysis program shows correlations between failure mode and performance test result, and also accumulates all the data. These kinds of data analysis programs and stored data furnish valuable information for improving the reliability of mechanical system.

Sagittal split osteotomy (SSRO) is an indispensable and most popular operation for correction of mandibular deformity. The procedure was considered of bony contact surface and nerve injury in the early stage. The procedure has undergone continuous surgical modifications for condylar displacement, relapse, psychologic analysis, functional & esthetic improvement, fixation method and postoperative evaluation of soft tissue change over time. In this article, we compared the contemporary operation method with new method which was designed through ramal computed tomography. Now we are going to introduce novel conceptual SSRO namely CNU-SSRO designed by Chonbuk National University and suggest the standardization of pre-existed SSRO.

상태방정식을 이용한 혼합물의 임계특성치 추산

Supercritical fluid extraction can generally be accomplished at conditions near the critical point of fluid. Most phase equilibrium studies related to supercritical fluid extraction have been restricted to single-solvent system. However, under certain conditionsm, it may be advantageous to use a mixed fluid. Therefore, this work is to offer the necessary basic data, ie., the method to calculate the critical properties of mixtures. For the prediction, it is necessary to use the equation of state which can represent the state of substance at high pressure. In present work, it uses the equation proposed by Peng-Robinson to calculate the critical properties of mixtures. It is shown that the experimental values to be available in literature may be well corresponded to the calculated values by thermodynamic relationships and the equation of state mentioned above. Then, we obtained also the optimum value of interaction parameter included in the equation for a mixed fluid system.

The orthognathic surgery for esthetic and functional improvement has developed for 150 years. Today, we can expect the better prognosis which is based on the early trial & error and advanced analysis technique. However, conservatism which advocates upholding of traditions and passive changes has been obstacle to scientific modernization as a contemporary co-worker. IVRI, ILRO, IVSRO, IVRO-SSRO, SSRO have been used to orthognathic surgery variously. In this article, we are going to compare IVRO, ILO with SSRO and advocate superiority of SSRO.
