Phanerochaete chrysosporium의 액체 배양 및 Lignin Peroxidase 생산

This study characterizes the growth of white rot fungi Phanerochaete chrysosporium IFO 31249 and lignin peroxidase(LiP) activity in different submerged culture media. P. chrysosporium was grown in the form of pellet of various sizes from a spore inoculum under shaking liquid culture condition. While the growth of mycelia was higher under the nitrogen-sufficient culture than under the nitrogen-limited culture, ligninase activity was relatively lower. The lignin peroxidase appeared in nitrogen-limited culture and was suppressed by excess nitrogen. High level(40U/l) of lignin peroxidase activity was obtained in the growth medium containing 1.5mM veratryl alcohol, a secondary metabolite of P. chrysosporium. Lignin peroxidase production was not observed under conditions of nitrogen sufficiency or in balanced media, suggesting that control parameters could increase the activity by manipulating the secondary metabolism.

飼料作物 Alfalfa(Medicago sativa L.)品種別 生育狀에 대하여

서로 특성이 다양한 32개의 도입한 Alfalfa품종을 우리나라 중부지역인 충청남도에 재배하여 초장과 건물중 등의 생육상태를 비교, 검토한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 평균초장이 큰 상위 10개 품종들은 Dekalb brand 135 > Diamond > Pioneer brand 581 > Raidor > Pioneer brand532 > Pierce> Nitro > Sparta ) Florida 77 > Sapphire의 품종순 이 며, 초장이 작은 10개 품종을 최하위 순으로 열거하여 보면 Salute < Spredor 2 < LS-1920 < Arrow < Challenger < Milkmaker < Armor < Pioneer brand 545 < Pioneer brand 5262 < Saranac의 품종 순이였다. 2. 총건물 수량이 많은 상위 10개 품종들은 Diamond > Nitro > Dekalb brand 120 > Dekalb brand 135 > Drummer > Saranac > Sapphire > Raider > Magnum > Dekalb brand 167의 품종 순이며, 건물수량이 적은 최하위 순으로 10개 품종은 Milkmaker < Pioneer brand 526 < Pioneer brand 5262 < Salute < Pioneer brand 555 < Decathlon < Pioneer brand 5929 < LS-1920 < Pioneer brand 581 < Husky의 품종들이였다. 3 평균초장과 총건물 수량의 결과를 비교하여 보면 대체로 초장이 우세하였거나, 열세하였던 품 종들이 다소간 건물수량이 우세하거나 열세하였으며, 정비례한 결과는 보이지 아니하였다. 4. 생육상태 및 건물수량이 모두 좋은 품종들은 Diamond, Nitro, Dekalb brand 135, Sapphire, Raidor품종들이며, 우리나라 중서부지역의 재배환경에 적합한 품종으로 사료된다 This study was conducted to select the best adapted alfalfa cultivars among the 32 introduced alfalfa cultivars with different characteristics in Chung-Chong Nam Do, Korea, environmental condition. Mean of plant height and total dry matter yields per cultivar from May to August in 1996 were determined. On the point of mean of plant height, ten high ranked cultivars among the 32 alfalfa cultivars in high order were Dekalb brand 135>Diamond>Pioneer brand 581>Raidor>Pioneer brand 532>Pierce>Nitro>Sparta>Florida 77>Sapphire and ten low ranked cultivars in low order were Salute<Spredor 2<LS-1920<Arrow<Challenger<Milkmaker<Armor<Pioneer brand 545<Pioneer brand 5262<Saranac. Ten high ranked cultivars from 32 alfalfa cultivars on the total dry matter yields in high order were Diamond>Nitro>Dekalb brand 120>Dekalb brand 135>Drummor>Saranac>Sapphire>Raidor>Magnum>Dekalb brand 167 and ten low ranked cultivars in low order were Milkmaker<Pioneer brand 526<Pioneer brand 5262<Salute<Pioneer brand 555<Decathlon<Pioneer brand 5929<LS-1920<Pioneer brand 581<Husky. Total dry matter yields of per cultivar was also slightly greater but It was not appeared direct proportion when alfalfa cultivar was appeared higher mean of plant height compared with those which were lower mean of plant height. Leading alfalfa cultivars for plant growth and dry matter yields were Diamond, Nitro, Dekalb brand 135, Sapphire, Raidor cultivar which can be well grown under moderate temperatures zone of midwest in Korea.
강원도 삼척 지역에서 소나무 이차림의 대상 벌채에 따른 초기 식생 재생 반응

대면적 개벌의 대안으로서, 대상 개벌은 생산림지의 생태 조건 보전과 임분 재생을 모두 고려하는 작업법이다. 그러나 우리나라에서는 대상 벌채 기법의 적용 및 효율성에 대한 연구를 찾아보기 어렵다. 본 연구는 강원도 삼척에서 2012년부터 2014년까지 소나무림 대상 벌채 (10m, 20m 및 40m) 처리 전.후의 하층식생 반응 및 소나무 재생과 임분환경 변화와의 상관성을 방형구법을 적용하여 조사 및 분석하였다. 하층식생 피도 및 종다양성은 대상 벌채 넓이에 상관없이 교목 종 및 광선호 종의 확장에 의해 증가하는 경향이었고, 신갈나무, 맑은대쑥 및 산딸기 등의 벌채 후잔존 교목 및 광선호 종들의 활발한 증가가 관찰되었다. 대상 벌채 구역의 소나무 정착은 수관층 환경 (광량 및 수관열림도) 및 토양나출도와는 정의 상관, 그리고 하층식생 및 임상 목질잔해물의 피도와는 음의 상관을 나타내었다. As an alternative to large-scale clear cutting silviculture, strip clear cutting (SC) is being considered as a system compatible with ecological conservation and forest regeneration. In South Korea, application and effectiveness of SCC in varying forest types were rarely found. In this study, under the subject of strip clear cutting lands of pinus densiflora forest at Samcheok, Gangwon-do Province, the developmental aspect of low vegetation prior to and after deforestation and the correlation between environmental factor and pine regeneration were analyzed. The cover rate of understory vegetation was appeared to be increased after deforestation and rapidly increased two years after deforestation, and it was evaluated to be affected by vigorous tree species and photophilic species. From the perspective of relative importance value, Quercus mongolica, Artemisia keiskeana, and Rubus crataegifolius that influence the cover rate showed the inclination of continuous growth. The diversity of species showed increment inclination as well due to introduction and settlement of early transient species. As a result of analyzing the correlation between vegetation and environmental factor and generation of pine tree size, the soil exposure rate, intensity of light, and canopy openness showed positive relationship, and the understory vegetation cover and woody debris cover rate showed negative relationship.
안검황색종의 치료에서 Bichloroacetic Acid를 이용한 국소 화학 소작술의 유용성과 안전성

Background: Xanthelasma palpebrarum is the most common type of xanthoma. Due to its delicate location near the eye, treatment of xanthelasma palpebrarum is rather difficult. The treatment includes surgical excision, local treatment with chemicals, and various laser therapies. Objective: This study was designed to review the various therapeutic modalities and to evaluate the efficacy and safety of bichloroacetic acid (BCA) for the treatment of xanthelasma palpebrarum. Methods: Nine patients, with a total of 19 xanthelasma lesions, were treated with BCA. The efficacy and safety were assessed over a follow-up period of 6 to 24 months (average, 16 months). Results: All lesions were grossly removed completely with a single treatment and the treatment was well-tolerated by patients. Erythema and oozing were observed in six patients but improved after two weeks` dressing. Xanthelasma palpebrarum recurred in three patients, but the mean size of the recurred lesions was smaller in comparison to the primary lesion. Conclusion: BCA is an effective and safe therapeutic modality for xanthelasma palpebrarum. Advantages include simplicity, cost-effectiveness, speed, safety and efficacy.
