      • RAW264.7 세포에서 interferon-r 및 LPS에 의해 유도되는 NO생성에 미치는 TALT-35의 영향

        TALP-35 purified from human term placenta is known to increase microtubule polymerization and stabilize the polymerized microtubule. To examine the effect of TALP-35 on immune system this study was performed. MTT assay was performed to investigate the effect of TALP-35 on the proliferation of RAW264.7 cells. TALP-35 dose dependently suppress the proliferation of RAW264.7 cells at high concentration (above 1 μM) in unstimulated cells, in case of 10 μM TALP-35 treated cells the suppression was 25% but in stimulated cells it was only 15%. Cosedimentation assay was carried out to investigate whether TALP-35 can bind to tubulin of RAW264.7, monocyte/macrophage lineage of mouse, and polymerize it. TALP-35 polymerize the tubulin of RAW264.7 cells and sedimented in dose-dependent manner. To investigate the effect of TALP-35 on the expression of iNOS protein western blotting was performed. The expression level of iNOS was decreased dose dependently in high concentration of TALP-35 treatment. To examine the activity of iNOS, secreted NO was determined by method based on Griess reaction. Interferon-γ and LPS-stimulated production of NO from RAW264.7 cells was decreased dose dependently above 0.1 μM concentration of TALP-35 and 50% is decreased at 10μM of it. This study shows TALP-35 can control cytokine induced-iNOS expression therefore it might control inflammatory diseases.

        The Scripture, the research on The MuJa Ron(○刺論) of the So Moon(素問), is described in the MuJa(○刺) of the Kap U1 Kyung(甲乙經). Also it is written in MuJa of Tae So(太素) volume 23,. And Wang(王○) interpreted it in volume 18 chapter 63. In ChimJaRyu(鍼刺類) of RyuKyung(類經) volume 20, it is introduced. And it is mentioned in the 2nd chapter of ShinKyoJung(新校正). In MuJa(○刺), Mu(#) means crossing left and right. Since this paper is describing the differences between MuJa(○刺) and KeoJa(巨刺), and it is also mentioning about carrying out the idea into practice, it is named MuJa(○刺). This paper, the theory of MuJa(○刺), can be divided into three properties in content. Chapter Ⅰ. deals with the common points and differences comparing with KeoJa(巨刺). Chapter Ⅱ. treats the idea that since RakMaek(絡脈) which is invaded by pathogenic factors are different, the states of the disorder are appeared differently so the place, method, atid number and order of acupuncture should be different. In chapter Ⅲ. it is said that in the state of disease of Kyung(經), KeoJa(巨刺) should be applied and in the state of the disease of Rak(絡), MuJa(○刺) should be used. treating oppositThe metabiosis of pathogenic factors flows from the skin and bodyhair to SonRak(孫絡), SonRak(孫絡) to RakMaek(絡脈), RakMaek(絡脈) to internal organs in general. In this situation KeoJa(巨刺) could be used in general. But if pathogenic factors flows irregularly, overflowing from one RakMaek(絡脈) to another place rather than internal organs, MuJa(○刺) could be applied. Therefore in the acupuncture treatment, the theory of MuJa(○刺) which implies side of the troubled places rather than the site itself is very important. But MuJa Ron(○刺論) is too difficult to interpret since is written in old Chinese, the writer of this paper has researched to prove the exact meaning of the MuJa(○刺).

        부신피질 자극호르몬 단독결핍 1례

        부신피질 자극호르몬 단독결핍은 국내에서 7례만이 보고된 희귀 질환이며 병인 및 경과 등 아직 불분명한 측면이 많다. 이는 질환지체의 희귀성도 있지만 치료후 자연경과에 대한 장기적인 추적검사가 이루어진 경우가 드물기 때문이기도 하다. 저자들은 비특이적인 전신증상을 주소로 내원한 폐경기후의 56세 여자 환자에서 자가면역질환의 증거없이 고프로릭틴혈증을 보인 부신피질 자극호르몬 단독결핍 1례를 경험하고 1년간의 부신피질호르몬 대치요법후 추적검사를 실시하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Isolated ACTH deficiency is a rare disorder which shows secondary adrenal insufficiency with normal states of other pituitary hormones. A 56-year-old postmenopausal woman complaining general weakness and intermittent mental confusion presented negligible serum cortisol and ACTH level with hyperprolactinemia and mild hyponatremia. Rapid ACTH stimulation test did not show significant increase of serum cortisol level. Combined pituitary stimulation test showed negligible response of cortisol and ACTH, and slightly decreased response of prolactin and gonadotropin. But the responses of TSH and GH were normal. There was no evidence of organic pituitary of hypothalamic lesion in brain MRI and antithyroid autoantibody was not detected in serum. After receiving 12 months of glucocorticoid replacement therapy, she skipped the medicine for 3 weeks and we performed follow-up endocrinologic tests. Serum ACTH and cortisol level was also negligible and prolonged ACTH simulation test showed normal response of serum cortisol. CRF stimulation test showed no response of serum ACTH. Basal prolactin level was decreased to near normal and combined pituitary stimulation test showed normal response of prolactin with slightly blunted response of TSH and GH. We concluded that the case was nonautoimmune origined isolated ACTH deficiency which was accompanied by hyperprolactinemia and resultant deficiency of gonadotropin, so we report this case with review of literatures.

A study is th object to prevent noble life that industrial accident of producted construction Lift within the country from 1994 to 1998 is survey and analysis.

        To investigate the effect of Shudihuang(熟地黃) aqua-acupuncture at the meridian points BL 23 on the renal function in normal and two kidney one clip Goldblatt hypertensive rats. The results of this study were as follows : 1. Urine volume, free water clearance rate were significant increased after Shudihuang aqua-acupuncture in normal rats. 2. Urinary excretion on potassium and chloride, glomerular filtration rate were significant decreased after Shudihuang aqua-acupuncture in normal rats. 3. Urine volume, ruinary excretion of electrolytes were significant decreased after Shudihuang aqua-acupuncture in two kindney one clip Goldblatt hypertensive rats. 4. Free water clearance, glomerular filtration rate were significant increased after Shudihuang aqua-acupuncture in two kidney one clip Goldblatt hypertensive rats.

        The purpose of this study was to examine the ultrastructural characteristic of the normal pylorus mucosa, and their structural changes induced by the ligation of common bile duct of the rabbit. Common bile duct ligation probably causes the dysfunction of the pyloric surface mucous cells that results in delayed mucous formation and secretion, but recovered mucous secretory activity is recovered on the late stages.

      • 한국에서 한 일간지 신문기사 검색을 통한 IMF 전과 후의 자살 양상 비교

        Objectives : Under an IMF bailout program, our country's financial situation forced people to change many things suddenly. Therefore, this study was attempted to search the aspects of changes of suicide attempts in order to find out how the financial crisis affects people's suicide attempts, the extreme repertoire for psychological change Method : November 21, 1997, the day issued the application of IMF bailout program, is the basic date for comparing the changes, on a certain newspaper(Dong-A daily newspaper). The condition was divided into two, namely before and after the basic date, and the characteristics of suicide were compared between two conditions. Results : The news of suicide increased more after than before the application of IMF situation. (before:105, after:158) Specially, for 30-50 years old, active age in community, the rate of suicide attempts reached twice than that of the others. After the IMF situation, the prominent reason of suicide was the financial crisis. For the type of suicide, the family suicide was remarkably increased after the IMF situation. Conclusion : The frequency of the news of suicide was higher after than before IMF bailout program. The major reason of suicide was the financial crisis. Considering that the social and economic crisis affects people's view of death, psychosocial interventions are necessary for their mental health.

        고추재배를 위한 시설하우스 폐양액의 재활용

        본 연구에서는 시설하우스 폐양액이 고추의 생육과 양분 흡수에 미치는 영향을 평가하고 폐양액 관주시 부가적으로 얻을 수 있는 관개 효과를 산출함으로써 폐양액의 토양 시비에 따른 농업적 가치를 평가하였다. 시설하우스 폐양액의 토양 곽주시 Ca, Mg, K 등 염류의 증가로 인하여 pH와 EC는 상승하였고, 총질소는 암모늄태 질소와 질산태 질소의 증가와 함께 처리 후 100 mg kg^(-1) 이상 증가하였다. 고추 생육은 화학 비료 70% 및 폐양액 30% 혼합처리구와 화학비료 50% 및 폐양액 50% 혼합치리구에서 양호하였으며 양분 흡수도 동일한 경향을 나타내었다. 고추 수확량은 화학비료 70%, 및 폐양액 30% 혼합처리구에서 가장 높은 것으로 조사되었다. 1일 발생되는 폐양액(288 L 10 a^(-1)day^(-1))을 토양에 시용하여 증발산되는 수분을 보충할 경우 최고 409.86 m²의 면적을 관개할 수 있는 것으로 산출되었다. 이상의 결과를 통해 폐양액의 토양 처리는 화학비료 대체 효과와 폐양액의 정화 효과를 동시에 얻을 수 있으며 적정량 사용시 주변 환경에 미치는 영향을 최소화하면서 지속적인 처리가 가능할 것으로 판단되었다. Waste of the hydroponic solution from the plastic film house cultivation was recycled to grow the red pepper(Capsicum annum L.) in upland fields as supplement for plant nutrients and irrigation sources. Application of hydroponic waste solution increased the pH and EC of the soils, coupled with the increases in the concentrations of exchangeable cations(Ca, Mg, and K), total nitrogen, NH₄-N, and NO₃-N. Growth and yield of red pepper were highest when the treatment of chemical fertilizer(70%) was combined with hydroponic waste solution(30%). Amounts of the daily producing hydroponic waste solution were 2,880 L ha^(-1) day^(-1) from the experimental facilities and this could irrigate 409.86 m?of area to compensate for the amount of water loss by evapotranspiration(3%). The overall results demonstrated that hydroponic waste solution could be recycled as plant nutrients and irrigation water resources for enhancing soil fertility and environmental quality.

      • 정신분열증 환자의 말초임파구에서 Fluorodeoxyuridine에 의해 유도되는 Fragile Sites

        The expression frequency of FUdR-induced fragile sites was examined in schizo phrenia patients to determine whether this parameter could be used as a marker of genetic susceptibility in at risk individuals. No difference was found in expression frequency between the schizophrenia patients and a group of normal individuals. This indicates that the expression frequency of fluorodeoxyuridine induced fragile sites is not a suitable marker for assessing genetic susecptibility in schizophrenia.
