        The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships among the showing an example group activity participation of the Taekwondo specialty university students, Physical Self-Efficacy. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire in which self-fulfillment consisted of questions regarding as identified by Physical Self-Efficacy consisted questions regarding as identified by Hong(1996). The questionnaire's validity was evaluated by a panel of experts, and its reliability was evaluated by computing the Cronbach alpha values. Since the values ranged from .87 to .93, the questionnaire was deemed to be highly reliable. 360 subjects were selected from University in seoul and Gyeonggi-do, Daegu, Gwangju of Korea by the stratified cluster random sampling method. The data analyses consisted of employing descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, standard multiple regression using Windows SPSS/PC+ version 11.0. The following results were obtained: Firstly, Physical Self-Efficacy differ statistically and significantly according to socio-demographic variables. Secondly, Physical Self-Efficacy is partially difference by Showing an Example group activity participation.

        2-Methylisoborneol(2-MIB)제거를 위한 산화 및 흡착공정의 특성

        One of the Musty and earthy smell compounds in raw water is generally attributed to 2-methylisoborneol (2-MIB). It is well known that activated carbon and oxidants such as O_3, ClO_2 are effective ways to control 2-MIB. In isotherm equilibrium experiments, 2-MIB in distilled water was much more adsorbed to the activated carbon(A/C) than raw water containing dissolved organic carbon (DOC). The Freundlich constants(k) of distilled water and raw water were 3.36 and 0.049, and 1/n values were 0.80 and 0.42, respectively. The 2-MIB residual rate were Y = e^(0.55_x)~ e^(-0.54_x) with Ozone(O_3) dose by 5 minutes contact time at the 241 and 353 ng/L initial concentrations. The 2-MIB residual rate were Y = e^(-0.32_X)~ e^(-0.35_X) with Chlorine dioxide(ClO_2) dose by 15 minutes contact time at the 89 and 249 ng/L initial concentrations. 2-MIB was decreased from 1911 ng/L to 569ng/L by post-ozonation(70%removal efficiency) and removal efficiencies of 2-MIB by the following 4 kinds Granular Activated Carbon(GAC) process such as coal base, coconut base, wood base and zeolite+carbon base were 95.8, 89.5, 88.4, and 93.7% respectively.

        치주조직 재생을 위한 칼슘 포스페이트 글라스 분말이 백서 두개골 결손부의 골조직 재생에 미치는 영향

        The treatment of the tone defects resulting from trauma, neoplasm, surgery, or infection is one of the major concern in dentistry. The major goal is the functional, esthetical regeneration of supporting structures already destructed by disease. Transplantation technique have been used to provide a scaffold for bone regeneration, to augment bony defects resulting from trauma or surgery, to restore bone loss caused by dental disease, to prevent the collapse the alveolar ridge in recent extraction sites, to replace bone loss by periodontal disease, to augment the alveolar ridge in implant surgery. There are autogeneous, allogenic, xenogenic and alloplastic bone-grafts in transplantation. Among the alloplastic bone-graft materials, calcium phosphates have been received the most attention. In this study, the critical size defects were surgically produced in the calvarial bone of Sprague-Dawley rats using the 8 ㎜ trephine bur. Calcium phosphate glass powders with mean diameter 400 ㎛ transplanted onto the produced detects in the experimental group, while sutured without grafting anything in the control group. Histomorphometric as well as radiodensitometric analyses were performed after sacrifice at 2, 4 and 8 weeks following operation. The prepared calcium phosphate glass powder with average size 400 ㎛ in CaO-CaF_2-P_2O_5-MgO-Al_2O_3 promoted new bone formation in the calvarial defects in the Sprague-Dawley rats. New bone was formed in the upper side of the detects as well as the defect margin and dura mater. Experimental group always exhibited higher values in the length, area and density of the newly formed bone than that of the control group. There were significant differences between the experimental and the control groups, except the density after 4 weeks (p<0.05).

        지상장애물 회피를 위한 항공기 경고 시스템에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 항공기의 지상활주에 필요한 측방 경보장치를 구현 하였다. 장치는 장애물 검출부, 송신부, 수신부, 그리고 경보부로 구성하였다. 장애물 검출부는 40KHz대의 초음파에 의한 펄스비행법을 채택하였고 송/수신부는 447 MHz 대의 RF모듈을 사용하였다. 경보부는 컴퓨터를 사용하여 수신된 거리 데이터로부터 경보를 한다. 검출장치는 주날개의 좌우측 끝과 수평 안정판의 좌/우측 끝에 장착한다. 장애물 검출거리는 10m로 설정하였다. 실험 결과 만족한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. in this study, we deviced side warning system that is necessary to the ground operation of aircraft. The system consist of obstacle detection part, transmission part, receive part, and warning part. We used TOF(Time Of Flight) method using 4OkHz ultrasonic wave as the obstacle detection part. The 447MHz RF module was applied to the transmission and receive part. The warning part is activated by the computer using received distance data. The detection system attach to the left/right side edge of main wing and horizontal stabilizer. We have decided 10x11 obstacle detection range. The result of expriment was satisfaclory.

        손상정도계수와 외상치를 이용한 외상환자의 분석

        Trauma is one of the most common causes of death. Recently, injury severity score(ISS) is widely used to evaluate and classify the patients with multiple injury. Trauma score(TS) was developed as a means of providing rapid accurate assessment of the injured patient. Authors conducted a review of trauma patients who visited the emergency department of YongDong Severance Hospital from September 1992 to August 1993. ISS and TS were collected from comprehensive initial evaluation. The results were as follows : 1) The subjects were 10.2%(2,666 patients) of total 26,202 emergency patients. 2) Male to female ratio was 2.1 : 1. The age distribution was highest under 10 year(24.9%). The mean ISS was 3.5, and the mean ISS increased with ago. 3. Analysis of injury mechanism showed high incidence of traffic accident(35.3%), blunt trauma 25.7%, fall 24.2%, stabbing 10.7%, and others 4.3% in order. 4. The 8.0% of patients were admitted after initial management and their mean Iss was 12.6 mean TS was 15.5. 5. Among admitted traffic accident patients, the mean ISS of passenger T.A., pedestrian T.A. and driver T.A. were 19.0 ±9.9, 14.4 ±10.6, and 11.3 ±7.7 respectively. 6. Among 42 mortality cases, 25 patients were D.O.A. and 17 were expired. The mean ISS of D.O.A. Patients was 30.0; the mean Iss and mean Iss and mean TS of expired patients were 28.3 and 11.8 respectively. 7. The most common cause of death was head trauma(66.7%). 8. By comparing the ISS and TS of admitted and expired patients, mortality occurred above 16 point of ISS. The mortality increased with increasing ISS, but it was influenced by the trauma site and the severity of the particular injury site. Mortality also occurred below 15 point of TS, the mortality increased inversely with TS, and the mortality with TS, and the mortality was high below 13 point (above 40%).

        임신마우스에서 수용성카이토산에 의한 태아의 방사성스트론튬 오염 억제

        핵분열생성물중의 하나인 방사성스트론튬은 임신한 쥐에서 태반을 빠르게 통과하여 태아를 오염시킨다. 독성이 적은 천연착화제로서 마우스체내의 방사성스트론튬(Sr-85)의 제거에 효과적인 것으로 알려진 카이토산을 이용하여 Sr-85의 태반오염억제에 관한 연구를 하였다. 실험군은 일반식이를 공급한 대조군과 임신 17일째에 수용성카이토산을 피하(1% 카이토산), 구강(10% 카이토산), 복강(0.3% 카이토산)으로 주사한 카이토산군으로 분류하였다. 피하주사군은 Sr-85 오염후 카이토산을 주사한 군이며 복강과 구강주사군은 Sr-85 오염젼 15일간 카이토산을 공급한 군이었다. 출산과 동시에 어린마우스의 전신을 측정한 겨러과 출생후 7일째에 대조군이 2.8 ±0.3%의 전신축적율을 나타낸 반면 피하, 구강, 복강, 주사군은 각각 1.2 ±0.1%, 1.4 ±0.1%, 1.6 ±0.2%로 나타났다. 결과적으로 임신한 마우스에서 수용성카이토산은 방사성스트론튬의 태반오염을 유의하게 억제하는 것으로 사료된다. Radiostrontium passes the placental barrier in pregnant rodents very well. Chitosan, a natural nontoxic chelator, was reported to reduce whole body retention of radiostrontium in mice. The aim of the present study was to evaluate water soluble chitosan as a blocking agent of transplacental transfer of radiostrontium in pregnant mice. Twenty pregnant mice wre divided into four groups : control and three groups of chitosan treatment(groups 1 to 3). Sr-85(15KBq in 0.2ml saline) was subcutaneously injected into pregnant mice at the 17th day of pregnancy. In control mice, 0.2ml saline was given 5 hours after the injection of Sr-85. In group 1.1% water soluble chitosan was given subcutanously for two days, twice daily after the injection of Sr-85. In group 2, 10% water soluble chitosan was given orally for 15 days before conception. In group 3, 0.3% water soluble chitosan was injected intravenously for 15 days, once daily before conception. Gamma counting of newborns were done at days 0, 2 and 7 after their births. Whole body retention of Sr-85 in newborns of control mice at days 0, 2, 7 were 3.1 ±0.3%, 2.9 ±0.3%, 2.8 ±0.3% respectively. In experimental groups, whole body retention of Sr-85 was significantly lower thanthat of control(p<0.01) and no statistical difference was noted between them. In group 1, the values were 2.1 ±0.3%, 1.4 ±0.1%, 1.4 ±0.1%, respectively. In group 3, they were 2.1 ± 0.2%, 1.7 ± 0.2%, 1.6 ± 0.2%, respectively. In conclusion, the water soluble chitosan reduced transplacental contamination of radiostrontium in pregnant mice.

        수술로 절제된 간의 국소 결절성 증식의 임상적 특징

        목적: 간의 국소 결정성 과형성은 일반적으로 특별한 치료가 필요 없는 양성 종양이다. 그러나 드물지만 합병증이 발생한 경우와 진단이 불확실한 경우에는 수술을 시행하게 된다. 이에 저자들은 간절제술을 시행한 국소 결절성 과형성의 임상적, 영상학적 특징들을 알아보고자 하였다. 대상과 방법: 1995년부터 2003년까지 수술을 시행하여 조직을 확인한 국소 결절성 과형성 환자 10명을 대상으로 연령, 성별, 실험실 검사 및 영상 소견과 조직 소견을 분석하였다. 결과: 연령의 중앙값은 37.5세, 남녀 비는 1.5:1이었다. 5예에서는 간세포선종이나 간세포암종을 감별할 수 없어서 수술을 시행하였으며, 수술 후 우연히 진단된 예는 4예이었다. 간세포암종의 위험 인자를 가지고 있었던 예는 4예(B형 간염 바이러스 보유자 3예, 간경변 2예)이었다. CT검사가 시행되었던 6예 중 5예는 동맥기에서 조영 증강을 보였고 문맥기 및 지연기로 감에 따라 주변과 동일(4예)한 또는 감소(2예)되는 양상을 보여 간세포암종과의 감별이 어려웠다. 크기는 3.2±2.2㎝이었으며 위치는 간우엽의 후하구역(S6)에 가장 많았다(30.0%). 4예에서 수술 전 침생검을 시행하였으나 고분화 간세포암종이나 간세포선종과의 감별이 어려웠다. 결론: 임상상, 영상검사 및 간침생검으로도 간세포암종이나 간세포선종과의 감별이 어려운 경우 수술을 시행하였으며 수술 전에는 발견하지 못하였지만 다른 질환으로 인한 수술시 우연히 발견된 경우도 있어 국소 결절성 과형성의 수술 전 진단이 어려운 경우가 적지 않음을 알 수 있었다. Background/Aims: Focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH) is a benign hepatic tumor with few serious complications and no malignant transformation. However, differential diagnosis between FNH and other liver tumors, especially hepatocellular carcinoma, is often difficult. Methods: Clinical features of surgically resected FNH were reviewed. From January, 1995 to February, 2003, 10 patients with surgically resected FNH were enrolled. Their age, sex, results of laboratory examination, imaging studies and pathologic findings were evaluated. Results: Median age was 37.5 years and sex ratio (male:female) was 1.5:1. In 5 cases, resection to exclude hepatic adenoma or HCC was performed. Four cases were diagnosed incidentally after surgery. Four patients had risk factors for HCC, such as hepatitis B virus infection, liver cirrhosis or both. The size of FNH was 3.2 2.2 cm. The most common site of the tumor was segment 6 (30.0%). Differential diagnosis with HCC was difficult in 5 of six cases in whom CT was performed. Although needle biopsies were performed preoperatively in 4 cases, it was difficult to distinguish FNH from hepatic adenoma or HCC. Conclusions: FNH was resected due to uncertainty of diagnosis, or incidentally during hepatectomy in patients with other liver disease. In the former, differential diagnosis with hepatic adenoma or HCC was a major problem despite extensive work-up including dynamic CT or biopsy. (Korean J Hepatol 2004;10:135-141)

      • N-Oxyldiethylenebenzothiazole-2-sulfenamide의-S-N= 결합에 대한 전기화학적 환원

        N-Oxyldiethylenebenzothiazole-2-sulfenamide(ODBS ; 가황촉진제)의 전기화학적 환원을 직류와 시차펄스 폴라로그래피 순환 전압전류법, 조절전위 전기량법으로 연구하였다. ODBS의 전극환원과정은 단일 환원파(-1.86 volts vs. Ag/0.1M AgNO₃ in AN)에서 비가역으로 3전자가 이동하는 E-C-E-C 반응메카니즘으로 진행되었다. 조절전위 전기분해 결과 sulfenamide(-S-N=) 결합이 끊어지고 mercaptobenzothiazole(MBT)과 benzothiazole disulfide(MBT dimer) 그리고 유리된 sulfur 등이 생성물로 얻어졌다. pH 변화에 따른 폴라로그램의 해석과 생성물 분석의 결과를 바탕으로하여 전기화학적 반응 메카니즘을 제안하였다. The electrochemical reduction of N-oxyldiethylenebenzothiazole-2-sulfenamide(ODBS; vulcanization accelerator) was investigated by direct current polarography, differential pulse polarography, cyclic voltammetry and controlled potential coulometry. The irreversible electrode reduction of ODBS proceeded E-C-E-C reaction mechanism by three electrons transfer with irreversible one wave(-1.86 volts vs. Ag/0.1M AgNO₃ in AN). As the results of controlled potential electrolysis, mercaptobenzothiazole(MBT), benzothiazole disulfide(MBT dimer) and extricated sulfur were products which followed by cleavage of the sulfenamide(-S-N=) bond. Upon the basis of products analysis and polarogram interpretation with pH variable, electrochemical reaction mechanism was suggested.

        분무 열분해에 의한 Ba1-xSrxFe12O19계 자성 미립자의 제조 및 특성 변화

        Magnetic particles with alternating magnetic field are expected to be useful as thermoseeds in hyperthermic cancer treatment, since they can be targeted and confined to the cancer site. Hard magnetic ferrites such as barium ferrite and strontium ferrite are good candidates for thermoseeds of hyperthermia because of their great hysteresis loss. In order to verify the effect of Sr-substitution to Ba-site, synthesized Ba1-xSrxFe12O19 microspheres with various compositions through spray pyrolysis followed by sol synthesis using barium nitrate, strontium acetate and iron nitrate. Coercive force was increased with increasing substitution amount of Sr whereas magnetic saturation was almost constant. Spherical microspheres with average diameter of 11.7~17.0 ㎛ were produced by spray pyrolysis at 400~1000℃. The mean size was dependent on the pyrolysis temperature and flow rate of carrier gas. In order to obtain a single phase of SrFe12O19 crystal, the spray pyrolyzed spheres were undertaken subsequent heat-treatment above 1000℃. During the subsequent heat-treatment, however, spherical microspheres were agglomerated because of necking between particles. Further study has to be continued working on synthesis of pure SrFe12O19 crystal by means of improvement of pyrolysis temperature scheme and extend the heating period.

        카이토산을 이용한 방사성스트론튬 오염의 치료

        본 연구에서는 마우스에 이미 오염된 방사성스트론튬(Sr-85)을 제거하는데 수용성카이토산이 어느정도 효과가 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. Sr-85를 정맥주사한 경우 주사후 1일째의 체내 잔류량은 72.9 ±5.7%, 5일째는 57.7 ±1.9%, 7일째는 54.2 ±1.4%로 서서히 감소하였으며, Sr-85를 복강내 주사한 경우는 주사후 5일째 54.4 ±1.2%, 15일째 50.6 ±0.8%로 정맥주사에 비해 낮은 잔류량을 보였다(5일째 잔류량의 비교, P<0.05), 0.3% 수용성카이토산을 1회 정맥주사해준 제21군 및 10% 수용성카이토산을 식이중에 섞어 먹인 제5군은 각각의 대조군에 비해 체내 잔류방사능의 차이가 없었으나 (P>0.05), 0.3% 수용성카이토산을 3일간 정맥주사한 제3군과 3% 수용성카이토산을 이틀 간격으로 15일간 복강내 주사한 제6군에서는 각각의 대조군에 비해 낮은 잔류방사능을 보였다. (P<0.01). 결론적으로 수용성카이토산을 연속적으로 정맥투여하거나 복강내 투여하는 경우에는 스트론튬의 골대사촉진 또는 골중의 스트론튬과의 반응등을 통해 그 배출을 촉진시킬 것으로 사료되었다. The aim of the present study was to elucidate the effect of the water soluble chitosans on the removal of contaminated radiostrontium(Sr-85) from the bone of mice. The remaining radioactivities in intravenously injected controls(group 1) were higher than in intraperitoneally injected controls (group 4, P<0.01). The % retention at day 5 were 57.7 ±1.9%, 54.4 ±1.2%, respectively. Single intravenous injection of 0.3% water soluble chitosan and continuous oral ingestion of 10% water soluble chitosan for 15 days were ineffective on the removal of contaminated radiostrontiums. Multiple intravenous or intraperitoneal injections of water soluble chitosan effectively removed contaminated radiostrontiums (P<0.01 vs controls). In conclusion, water soluble chitosan might remove once incorporated radiostrontium from bones of mice. further studies were needed to elucidate the mechanism of the removal.
