This study analzed AEMG, muscle activity duration time, peak value and work load of six high school student players, three college student players, three business team players in order to analyze Arm's EMG when they play games with two-handed backhand stroke. The instruments of measuring EMG are muscle tester ME3000p. And measured parts of muscle are the triceps brachii, biceps brachii, brachioradialis and flexor carpi radialis of body left and right arm. The following is the result according to the analysis of raw data and statistics. 1. The AEMG of trained group was higher than the untrained. In both groups AEMG of right arm was higher than left one. And AEMG of forearm was higher than upperarm. The order of high AEMG among the trained is as followed ; right biceps brachii, left brachii, right brachioradialis. Among the untrained ; right brachioradialis, left brachioradialis, biceps brachii. 2. The muscle activity duration time of the trained group was totally shorter than the untrained. In both groups muscle activity duration time of the right arm was shorter than the left one. As to trained muscle activity duration time of upperarm is shorter than the forearm. Contrarily, as to untrained muscle activity duration time forearm is shorter than the upperarm. The order of short muscle activity duration time among the trained is as followed ; right biceps brachii, triceps brachii, left flexor carpi radialis. 3. The peak value of trained group was higher than the untrained. In body groups peak value of the right arm was higher than the left one. As to the trained the peak of the upperarm is higher than the forearm. Contrarily, as to the untrained, the peak value of the forearm was higher the upperarm. The order of high peak value among the trained is as followed ; right biceps brachii, left biceps brachii, right brachioradialis. Among the untrained, right brachioradialis, left biceps brachii, brachioradialis.
각종 치과레이저의 Streptococcus mutans에 대한 증식 기능억제 효과

레이저의 구강내 산 생성 세균인 S. mutans에 대한 증식 및 기능 억제효과를 평가하기 위하여 S. mutans KCTC 3065가 포함된 세균 pellet에 Er:YAG 레이저와 Nd:YAG 레이저를 비접촉식 방법으로, 조사세기 50mJ, 조사시간 5초, 그리고 pulse repetition rate를 각각 10Hz와 30Hz로 하여 조사하고 세균 군락수, 산 생성능, 불용성 세포외다당류의 합성량을 측정하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. Chinese ink로 photosensitization을 시행한 후 Nd:YAG 레이저를 조사한 경우가 S. mutans의 증식을 가장 많이 억제하였으며 Er:YAG 레이저 조사도 증식을 억제하였다. Chinese ink를 사용하지 않고 ND:YAG 레이저를 단독으로 조사한 경우는 S. mutans의 증식을 억제하지 못하였다. 2. Chinese ink로 photosensitization을 시행한 후 Nd:YAG 레이저를 조사한 경우가 일정기간 동안 S. mutans의 산생성능을 가장 많이 억제하였으며 Er:YAG 레이저 조사도 산 생성능을 억제하였다. Chinese ink를 사용하지 않고 Nd:YAG 레이저를 단독으로 조사한 경우는 S. mutans의 산 생성능을 억제하지 못하였다. Er:YAG 레이저와 Chinese ink로 photosensitization을 시행한 후 Nd:YAG 레이저를 조사한 경우는 pulse repetition rate가 클수록 전반적으로 세균의 산생성능을 더 많이 억제하였다. 3. 레이저 조사는 S. mutans의 불용성 세포외다당류의 합성에 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 이상의 결과로 보아 Er:YAG 레이저와 Chinese ink로 photosensitization을 시행한 후의 Nd:YAG 레이저 조사는 일정시간 동안 S. mutans의 증식과 산 생성능을 억제시키므로써 치아우식증 예방효과를 얻을 수 있다고 사료되나 억제효과가 오래가지 않아 임상적으로 효과를 얻기 위해서는 자주 조사를 해주어야 한다는 문제점을 안고 있어 임상적으로 치아우식증 예방이란 단독 목적으로 사용하기에는 실용성이 크지 않다고 사료된다. This was performed to evaluate the inhibitory effect of laser on the growth of S. mutans. The bacterial pallets containing S. mutans KCTC 3065 were irradiated with Er:YAG laser and Nd:YAG laser by non-contact method at an intensity of 50mJ for 5 sec with the pulse repetition rates of 10Hz and 30Hz, respectively. The following results were obtained on colony count, acid producing ability, and the amount of insoluble extracellular polysaccharide synthesis. 1. The irradiation of Nd:YAG laser after photosensitization with Chinese ink inhibited the proliferation of S. mutans the most, and the irradiation of Er:YAG also inhibited the proliferation. However, the irradiation of Nd:YAG laser alone could not inhibited the proliferation of S. mutans. The pulse repetition rate did not affect significantly on the proliferation of bacteria in overall. 2. The irradiation of Nd:YAG laser after the photosensitization with Chinese ink inhibited the acid production of S. mutans the most for a certain period of time. Er:YAG laser also inhibited acid production. When Nd:YAG laser was used alone, the acid production of S. mutans was not been inhibited. The irradiation of Nd:YAG laser after photosensitization with Chinese ink inhibited the acid production ability of bacteria the most as the pulse repetition rate increased. 3. Laser irradiation did not inhibited the synthesis of insoluble extracellular polysaccharide of S. mutans. From these results, we conclude that the irradiatioin of Er:YAG laser and Nd:YAG laser after photosensitization with Chinese ink would inhibit the proliferation and acid production by S. mutans, which may prenent dental caries. However, this effect does not last long time so that the laser irradiation should be repeated frequently in order to obtain clinical effect; thus, this laser irradiation would not have a clinical usefulness in preventing dental caries when used solely.

The purpose of this study was to examine EMG changes of the body according to method the holding during carrying object. The experiments were conducted with utilizing EMG analyses for five male and five female adults as subjects. The results were as followed. 1. The higher muscle action potential of vertical holding was shown than that of right holding when carrying objects in MMH work in proportion to the weight of the object. The came from the subjects using their brachial muscles much to maintain the angles of their wrist joints and elbow joints for keeping their stable postures while walking. 2. The higher muscle action potential of right holding was shown in right and left elector-muscles of their spines(L1-L2, L4-L5) while carrying in all stages of weights except 25kg objects than that of vertical holding. These results were caused from more use of brachial muscles than elector-muscles of spines in carrying weight objects. So vertical holding is more effective in carrying weight objects at a short distance than right holding.
비만 여성을 대상으로 한 해조류 추출물의 국부처치와 운동 병행을 통한 지방분해 효과의 임상적 검정

This study was carried out to test the body fat breakdown during topical seaweed extract treatment and in combination with the aerobic exercise. Of 20 female obesity subjects, ten treated a cream types of seaweed extract(control group) and ten treated a placebo cream(placebo group). Topical treatment of each sample was designed for 4 weeks, and treated with 2 times a day about 10ml on the abdomen and the thigh, respectively. All subjects were participated aerobic dance half hour a day and four times a week. After 4 weeks of topical treatment and exercise, they were measured body fat, skinfold thickness, body circumference. Then venous blood samples were taken and analyzed blood cells, serum enzymes, and serum lipids. There were reduction of body weight, % of body fat, antebrachium, brachium, chest, waist, thigh circumference and abdomen thickness between pre and post treatment in both group. Especially, body weight and % of body fat significantly reduced in the subjects treating the seaweed extract than those treating the placebo. There were significant decrement in total cholesterol and LDL whereas increment in HDL and TBIL in the control group, but no significant difference in the placebo group. In conclusion, there were 7.6% of body fat reduction during 4 weeks of aerobic exercise and 21% of body fat reducement in combination of topical seaweed treatment and exercise, respectively. These results suggest that the topical treatment of seaweed extract should be very effective for fat breakdown. Especially, the body fat breakdown maximized in the combination with the topical seaweed extracts treatment and the aerobic exercise.

<P>Resistive random access memory (ReRAM) is a promising candidate for future nonvolatile memories. Resistive switching in a metal–insulator–metal structure is generally assumed to be caused by the formation/rupture of nanoscale conductive filaments (CFs) under an applied electric field. The critical issue of ReRAM for practical memory applications, however, is insufficient repeatability of the operating voltage and resistance ratio. Here, we present an innovative approach to reliably and reproducibly control the CF growth in unipolar NiO resistive memory by exploiting uniform formation of insulating SiO<SUB><I>x</I></SUB> nanostructures from the self-assembly of a Si-containing block copolymer. In this way, the standard deviation (SD) of set and reset voltages was markedly reduced by 76.9% and 59.4%, respectively. The SD of high resistance state also decreased significantly, from 6.3 × 10<SUP>7</SUP> Ω to 5.4 × 10<SUP>4</SUP> Ω.
