      • Sm₂O₃doped CeO₂의 미분말 합성 및 소결특성

        10mol% Sm₂O₃ CeO₂fine powders were synthesized by the coprecipitation method and then their powder characteristics and sintering behavior were studied. The characterization of powders has been investigated using thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis for thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction for phase identification, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller, X-ray diffraction-line broadening and transmission electron microscopy for particle size and morphology determination. The sintering behavior were investigated by means of the sintering density measurements. The characteristics of powders prepared by the coprecipitaion method and their sintering behavior are discussed.

      • 전남지역 태권도장의 실태와 운영현황에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare the management of Taekwondo-jang in the Province of Chonnam and to present an effective strategy to increase consumers. Survey method was used for this study. Total of 50 subjects were selected. To compare management of their facilities, the subjects were divided into 2 groups, the well managed and the poor managed, based on the number of students, frequency of instructor’s participating in educational meeting and frequency of student’s participating in competition, This grouping was based on the opinion of the Chonnam Taekwondo Association director. The questionnaire consisted of the total number of 33 questions. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistic method, percentage, frequency, Chi-square and Discriminant Analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, there was no significant difference between the well managed facilities and the poor managed facilities in term of instructors’ demographical characteristics, while there was a statistically significant difference (p<5) in term of the educational experience ; that is, the well managed have the higher educational experience. Second, the well managed facilities were mainly located in the apartment-shopping area, while the poor managed were mainly located in the residence district. The average area of the well managed was 17.41㎡, while the poor 13.16㎡. Third, the well managed mainly used the computer programs to manage the students, while the poor used the book. The average number of the well managed were 133 students, while the poor were 59 students.

        In this paper, we present a speech end-point detection method for real time speech processing. The algorithm uses short time energy and zero crossing rate as a statistical feature of speech. Statistical thresholds of energy and zero crossing rate are periodically recalculated from the background noise if the speech start-point has not been detected. And if speech does not continue for pre-defined period of time, A/D conversion stops. In experiments, the real-time end-point detector on Pentium III PC shows the error rate of 2% in an office environment.

        IAEA의 기준모델과 MASCOT 프로그램을 이용한 중저준위방사성폐기물 천층처분시설 안전성평가

        IAEA가 제시한 중·저준위 방사성폐기물 천층처분시설 기준 안전성평가 사례에 대해 MASCOT프로그램을 이용하여 안전성평가를 수행하였다. 이를 위해 기준시나리오에 대한 개념 모델을 개발하였다. 지질계와 생태계의 연결매체인 우물을 통한 지하수 이동경로에 대한 평가를 수행하였고 생태계 모델에서는 구획모델을 적용하여 인간활동을 통한 최종 방사선적 영향을 평가하였으며, 다른 평가 결과와의 비교를 통해 기준시나리오에 대한 개념모델의 적합성을 조사하였다. 본 연구 결과는 구획모델을 이용한 지하수 유동경로에 대한 대표적인 개념모델을 총체적인 처분시스템의 안전성평가에 만족스럽게 이용할 수 있다는 것을 보여주었다. 또한 MASCOT프로그램을 이용하여 복잡하고 다양한 이동경로를 통한 천층처분시설의 방사선적 안전성평가가 가능함을 보였다. A reference scenario of vault safety case prepared by the IAEA for the near-surface disposal facility of low-and intermediate-level radioactive wastes is assessed with the MASCOT program. The appropriate conceptual models for the MASCOT implementation is developed. An assessment of groundwater pathway through a drinking well as a geosphere-biosphere interface is performed first, then biosphere pathway is analysed to estimate the radiological consequences of the disposed radionuclides based on compartment modeling approach. The validity of conceptual modeling for the reference scenario is investigated where possible comparing to the results generated by the other assessment. The result of this study shows that the typical conceptual model for groundwater pathway represented by the compartment model can be satisfactorily used for safety assessment of the entire disposal system in a consistent way. It is also shown that safety assessment of a disposal facility considering complex and various pathways would be possible by the MASCOT program.

        Highly cohesive classes define only a data factor(instance variable) whose all methods(or operations) refer to, or have the maximum connection among elements in a class. Therefore, an increase in the number of the data factors, and the operations to obstruct the maximum connection among elements in a class are the main factors to decrease the class cohesion. In this paper, we propose a new measure, called CCM(Class Cohesion Measure), which can measure the class cohesion more consistently with our intuition on the basis of factors to decrease it. We use the reference graph in order to find the decreasing factors of the class cohesion, and measure the class cohesion on the basizs of analysis of the domain reference graph. CCM can provide more upgraded measures than the existing measures through comparing it with the measures of existing cohesion.

        The UCS (Universal Multiple-Octet Coded Character Set), ISO/IEC 10646, is applicable to the representation, transmission, interchange, processing, storage, input and presentation of the written form of the language (scripts) throughout the world. It- includes many thousands of characters used in international text as well as additional symbols. This scheme provides codes for more than 65,000 characters, huge increase over ASCII's code capacity of 128 characters. To keep character coding simple and efficient, the UCS standard assigns each character a unique 16-bit value (UCS-2), and does not use complex modes or escape codes to specify modified characters or special case. The simplicity and efficiency makes it easy for commuters and software to handle UCS-encoded text files. Computer users who deal with multilingual text will all find that the UCS encoding greatly simplifies their work. In case of Hangul, all the modern Hangul of 11,172 syllables is allocated to the BMP (Basic Multilingual Plane) of the UCS standard according to the phonetic order. Old Hangul can be composed of 240 Hangul Jamo's (Hangul elementary characters) which are allocated to the BMP. The UCS standard also accommodates 20,902 ideographs used in Korean, Chinese, and Japanese text. In this paper, code conversion utilities among the UCS code system and the current code system like IBM and Microsoft code systems are studied and implemented in order to accommodate the necessities and requirements derived from computer and information industry. Recently, the leading-edge companies from the industry, such as IBM, Microsoft, etc, are implementing the UCS code into their newly announced products as internal code. Therefore, it is so important and necessary to guide on and to provide the code conversion services to their customers during the customer systems are upgraded and migrated to the environment which the UCS code system is used and/or the current code systems, i.e., ASCII PC code and EBCDIC host code, are used with the UCS together. Code conversion utility including the mapping table between the UCS and IBM new host code (Code Page : 834) is shown for the purpose of the explanation of code conversion algorithm and its implementation in the system. The programs are sucessfully executed in the real system environments and so can be delivered to the customer during its migration stage from the UCS to the current IBM code system and vice versa.

      • CeO₂에서의 Gd₂O₃및 Sm₂O₃첨가량변화에 따른 특성변화

        Sintering behavior and electrical properties of CeO₂system were investigated as a function of the amount of Gd₂O₃and Sm₂O₃addition. Doped CeO₂consisted of a homogeneous solid solution of the cubic fluorite structure within the amount of addition from 0 mol% to 15 mol%. Grain growth rate of Gd₂O₃doped CeO₂was much smaller than that of pure CeO₂, while densification rate considerably larger. Thus doped CeO₂showed a higher density than pure CeO₂. The electrical conductivity of ?? was increased up to x=0.1, however, with further increasing dopant concentrations, the magnitude of the conductivity was found to decrease remarkably. The ionic conductivity value obtained at 700℃ for 10 mol% Sm₂O₃doped CeO₂electrolyte was 4.6×??.

        6개의 원소로 이루어진 오르토히드록시짝이중결합화합물, 즉 시남알데히드-오르토-히드록시아닐(cinnam-aldehyde-ortho-hydroxyanil), 벤질모노히드록시아닐(benzil-mono-hydroxyanil), 오르토-히드록시벤잘아세톤페논(ortho-hydroxy benzalacetophenone)과 알진트리클로라이드(AsCI_3)와의 반응으로부터 고체반응생성물을 분리해 냈다. 이들 반응생성물의 적외선 및 자외선분광학으로부터, 이들 모든 반응생성물은 비소의 전하이동착물임을 획인했다. 이 반응으로부터 3원자가 비소화합물의 화학적거동이 인의 3원자가 화합물과 유사하지 않다는 것을 알 수 있었다. Solid products were isolated by the reaction of orthohydroxy-6-membered conjugated system such as cinnamaldehyde-ortho-hydroxyanil, benzil-mono-orthohydroxyanil and ortho-hydroxybenzalacetophenon with AsCl_3. All of these products were confirmed to be Charge-transfer complexes of As from the examination of IR and UV spectra. It could be found that the chemical behavior of trivalent As is not analogous with that of triv alent P.

      • 경사진 트레드밀에서 후방보행운동을 통한 넙다리네갈래근 강화와 요통의 관계

        목적: 본 연구에서는 경사진 트레드밀에서의 후방 보행 훈련을 통한 넙다리네갈래근의 강화가 요통 환자의 치료에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 대상: 만성 요통을 호소하는 16명의 환자를 대상으로 연구를 실시 하였다. 방법: 트레드밀을 10° 경사로 맞춰놓은 상태에서 대상자들은 하루 20분, 일주일에 3회의 빈도로 2주 동안 훈련을 하였다. 표면 근전도를 가지고 넓다리 곧은근, 안쪽 넓은근, 가쪽 넓은근, 척추 세움근의 %MVIC를 측정하였고, KODI와 VAS를 통해 대상자들의 통증정도를 측정하였다. 결과: 넓다리 곧은근은 훈련전에 비해 훈련을 하고 난 후 상대적으로 높은 근전도를 보였고, 통계적으로 유의하였다(p<.05). 안쪽 넓은근과 가쪽 넓은근 또한 높은 근전도율을 보였지만 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았다. 척추 세움근은 훈련전에 비해 훈련을 하고 난 후 높은 근전도율을 보여주었고, 통계적으로 유의하였다(p<.05). VAS와 KODI의 평균값은 명백하게 감소되었고, 통계적으로 유의하였다(p<.05). 결론: 이상의 결론을 종합하면, 후방보행을 통한 넙다리네갈래근의 강화는 요통의 감소에 효과적이라고 사료되며, 더불어 넙다리네갈래근으로 접근하여 요통을 경감하는 중재방법이 효과적인 치료 방법이 될 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. Purpose: This study was to investigate the influence of strengthening the Quadriceps femoris through backward walking treadmill training in the patients who have lower back pain. Subjects: Sixteen subjects with chronic lower back pain were included. Method: In the training, the treadmill was set to have a inclination of 10 degrees, and the subjects were trained for 20 minutes a day, 3 times a week, for 2 weeks. %MVIC(muscle power) of rectus femoris, vastus medialis oblique, vastus lateralis and erctor spinae were measured with surface EMG, and KODI and VAS were used to measure the subject's level of pain. Results: Quadriceps femoris showed relatively higher average electromyogram rates than that before training(p<.05). Vastus medialis oblique and vastus lateralis also showed higher average electromyogram rates, but no significant change in them was noted. Erector spinae showed higher average electromyogram rates than that before training(p<.05). The average points of VAS and KODI clearly decreased(p<.05). Conclusion: Strengthening Quadriceps femoris seems to be efficient for relieving lower back pain in this study.
