The purpose of this study is to develop an air-passing soundproofing panel with more improved structure to reduce the CO2 emission and installation cost. To reduce the emission of CO2 ; it is suggested to choose low CO2 emission material relative to the aluminum and to reduce the materials by developing a specially designed air-passing soundproofing panel structure. First of all, we performed the flow analysis to predict the wind pressure according to the open angle of the air-passing soundproofing panel and the noise level analysis at the receiver point. To verify the simulation, a prototype of the soundproofing panel was made. The flow test in the wind tunnel and load test were performed. The economic evaluation for the installation of the air-passing soundproofing panel was performed and specifications of the installation was prepared. As the results of this research, it was verified that the wind load was reduced about 40% to that of the conventional one at 25m/s wind speed in the wind tunnel test. By applying the 4m span soundproofing wall with air-passing soundproofing panel and under the cost of 250 thousand won/m2 instead of the conventional 2m span panel, the installation cost will always be lowered than the conventional one in the combination of (60:40~50:50) conventional to air-passing soundproofing panel from the economic evaluation. The 20% reduction of CO2 was found by changing the 50% of aluminum soundproof panel to air-passing soundproofing panel.

Objectives : This study was carried out to suggest preventive methods for hypertension in cold-exposed workers. Methods : In 11 refs·iteration industries, 68 workers working in refrigerated areas more than one time per day were selected as the exposed group, and 68 workers not exposed to cold were selected as the control group. We interviewed the subjects with a questionnaire covering occupational history, and conducted clinical and laboratory tests including measurements of blood pressure and core temperature. Results : The systolic blood pressure in the exposed group(130.0±13.3 mmHg) was significantly higher than that recorded In the control group(118.3±12.1 mmHg), as was the diastolic blood pressure in the exposed group(82.7±8.5 mmHg) versus the control group(77.4±8.7 mmHg). The core temperature in the exposed group(36.1±0.7℃) was significantly lower than that experienced in the control group (36.4±0.5℃). In logistic regression analysis, age, cold exposure severity and milk intake were significant variables, with odds ratios of 5.204(95 % CI 1.440∼18.812), 2.674(95 % CI 1.080∼6.618), and 0.364(95 % Cl 0.141∼0.942) , respectively. Conclusions : Our study suggests that cold-exposed workers have higher a higher risk of hypertension, and that their core temperature is lower. Risk factors affecting hyper-tension of cold-exposed workers include age, cold exposure severity and milk intake. For the prevention of hypertension, cold-exposed workers should minimize cold-exposure time as much as possible.
Encephalomyocarditis Virus 표면항원의 단일항체생산 세포주의 크론과 이의 면역학 및 생화학적 연구(I)

To determine the immunological and biochemical properties of monoclonal antibody against encephalomyocardins viral surface antigen, Balb/c female mice were immuunized with the purified viral surface protein of D-variant of encephalomyocarditis virus and then fused with niyeloma cells(NS-l). Sixteen monocloiial antibody-producing hybridoma cell lines were selected from non-producing hybridoma cell lines. Among them, three hybridoma cell lines produced IgG2b and other thirteen hybridoma cell lines produced IgG1. Two hybridoma cell lines, EDH-S-23 and EDH-S-24, Produced IgG2b and showed highest neutralization titer, 236. The antigenic specificity of these monoclonal antibodies was specific to D-variant of encephalomyocarditis virus. VIoreover, the monoclonal antibody showed specifically the curring effect on diabetes mellitus of mice, which was induced by the D-variant of encephalomyocarditis virus.
Butyl acetate-MEK 혼합용매를 이용한 초산분리에 관한 연구

We studied on the phase equilibria of quaternary liquid-liquid extraction system containing acetic acid-water-binary solvent at 25℃, MEK-butyl acetate were used as binary solvents. Binodal curve, tie-line, distribution and selectivity for each quaternary system have been determined in order to investigate the effect of using binary solvent in extracting acetic acid from aqueous solution. And these experimental tie-line data were also compared with the values predicted by WAC model. It was shown that UNIFAC model is capable of predicting the tie-line in these quaternary systems within an average RSDM of 3.76 mol%.

Due to the rising cost of energy, new separation processes based on extraction are becoming more attractive than before. Thus, the need for claculating and predicting liquid-liquid equilibria(LLE) compositions has very much increased. The purpose of this study is to determine the binodal curves, tie-lines, plait-point, distribution and selectivity for the ternary systems of acetic acid-water with methyl ethyl ketone(MEK), methyl isobutyl ketone(MBK), ethylacetate(EAc), butylacetate(BAc), toluene and o-xylene as solvents at 25℃. And those tie-line data were used to examine thermodynamic consistency. The experimental tie-line data were correlated with NRTL and UNIQUAC models.
