        This paper is designed to equalize the points obtained from different tests of agility by means of equipercentile equating in accordance with grade and sex. The subjects consist of 923 high school students who have ever gone through the tests of power. As a result, I have reached the following conclusion. 1. I used equipercentile equating for recording the tests of power of the first male graders, coming up with equalized values such as 223㎝ in a standing board jump, 33.7m in five seconds' running and 42m in throwing, and 53m in a vertical jump at the 50 percent level. 2. The second male graders, coming up with equalized values such as 232㎝ in a standing board jump, 33.5m in five seconds' running and 42m in throwing, and 57㎝ in a vertical jump at the 50 percent level. 3. The third male grades, coming up with equalized values such as 242㎝ in a standing board jump, 34.8m in five seconds' running and 45m in throwing, and 57㎝ in a vertical jump at the 50 percent level. 4. The first female graders, coming up with equalized values such as 168㎝ in a standing board jump, 25.8m in five seconds' running and 10m in throwing, and 34㎝ in a vertical jump at the 50 percent level. 5. The second female grader, coming up with equalized values such as 174㎝ in a standing board jump, 25.8m in five seconds' running and 17m in throwing, and 31㎝ in a vertical jump at the 50 percent level. 6. The third male graders, coming up with equalized values such as 187㎝ in a standing board jump, 27m in five seconds' running and 16.6m in throwing, and 30㎝ in a vertical jump at the 50 percent level.

      • 問項反應理論을 適用한 TENNIS FORHAND STROKE의 難易度

        The purpose of this study was to identity the applications of rating scale toward an evaluation of tennis forhand stroke. The ability test of tennis volley presented in AAHPERD research, Rasch Model, was adapted and it's rate point was used in FACETS (lincere, 1994). First, The functional ability in tennis stroke was aimed to be efficiently by using RASCH'S rating scale based on six positions. Test difficulties were shown between -0.15 to 0.15. The easiest position amonsg those 6 was #3(-0.15) and #2(-0.09) in order and the most difficult position was known as #4(0.15). Second, a logit point of subjects was shown in difference when logit average was set on zero. Test 2,3,4, and 5 were revealecl to be valid as a stroke test in which subject's functional ability of tennis forehand stroke coned be identified. Third, the difficulty rate based on position was ordered by #1, #3, and #6 position as low change position #4 and #5 as high change Finally, the positional test in 6 position' base was regarded as a valid test method to evaluate tennis forehand stroke. Rasch's rating scale model was identified as a well appllied model to measure the difficulty rate in tennis forehand stroke.

        대체 소화제의 열역학적 물성 비교

        몬트리올 의정서에 의해서 규제받는 CFCs와 Halon의 대체 물질인 HFC-23, HFC-125, HFC-227ea, HFC-236fa와 불활성 화합물 Ar, N₂, CO₂의 열역학적 물성인 포화압력, 밀도, 엔탈피, 점도를 비교하였다. 본 연구에서는 소화제의 물성을 문헌값을 온도의 함수로서 표시하였다. HFC화합물의 열역학적 물성은 Halon-1301과 비슷하게 나타내었다. 불활성 화합물은 주로 혼합물로 이용되지만, 불활성 화합물의 물성은 Halon-13O1에 비하며 바람직하지 않았다. For CFCs and Halons regulated by Montreal Protocol and their alternatives of HFC-23, HFC-125, HFC-227ea, HFC-236fa and the mixtures of inert gases of Ar, N₂ and CO₂, the thermodynamic properties of saturated pressure, density, enthalpy and viscosity were compared. In this study, the data from literature were expressed as a function of temperature. Thermodynamic properties of HFC compounds were similar to those of Halon-1301. Inert gas was mainly used as a mixture, but the physical properties of the inert gas does not have the favorable advantages over those of Halon-1301.

      • 실리카 지지 백금에 있어서 일산화탄소의 흡착에 관한 연구

        실리카 지지 백금에서 백금의 함량, 일산화탄소의 압력, 그리고 흡착온도의 변화에 따른 CO의 흡착 및 탈착거동에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 선형결합한 일산화탄소에 의한 C-O 신축진동 적외선 흡수띠가 백금 함량이 4%인 경우 ??, 2%인 경우 ??, 1%인경우 ??, 다리 또는 다중결합한 일산화탄소 C-O신축진동 적외선 흡수띠는 ??, 계단자리 또는 모서리에 결합한 일산화탄소에 의한 C-O 신축진동 적외선 흡수띠는 ?? 나타났다. 일산화탄소의 압력을 변화시킬 때(0.2∼50torr), 위에 언급한 흡수띠들이 어느 정도 단파장 쪽으로 이동하고?? 백금 함량 4%의 흡수띠의 세기는 큰 변화가 없지만 백금 함량 1%와 2%의 경우는 커다란 변화가 있었다. 진공탈착시켰을 때 짧은 시간(1시간) 탈착시키면 흡수띠 세기는 큰 변화가 없지만 오랜 시간(12시간) 탈착시키면 그 세기는 현저하게 작아지고 백금 함량이 1%인 경우에는 흡수띠가 거의 사라졌다. 백금 함량 4% 시료에 대해 일정한 일산화탄소 압력(1.0torr)에서 흡착 온도를 변화시켰을 때 선형결합한 일산화탄소에 의한 C-O 신축진동 적외선 흡수띠가 약간 장파장으로 이동하며(?? 온도가 높아질수록 흡수띠의 나비가 점점 넓어졌다. 100℃ 이상부터 나타나는 이 흡수띠 어깨 ?? 실리카 흡수띠에 의하여 생성되는 것으로 볼 수 있다. We have investigated the infrared spectra for CO adsorbed on silica supported platinum at various CO partial pressures and various temperatures within the frequency range of ??. Due to the linear bonded CO, the ?? bands in 4 wt% Pt/SiO₂, the ?? bands in 2 wt% Pt/SiO₂, and the?? bands in 1 wt% Pt/SiO₂ were observed. Also the?? bands due to bridged or multiple bonded CO and the ?? bands due to CO adsorbed on step and edge site were observed. With increasing CO pressure all the above bands showed blue shifts and the intensities of the bands in 4 wt% Pt/SiO₂ increased a little but those in 2 wt% Pt/SiO₂ and in 1 wt% Pt/SiO₂ increased much within our experimental CO pressure range. With pumping for evacuation during 1 hour the intensities of the bands decreased a little but with pumping during 12 hour the intensities of the bands decreased much. Especially the bands in 1 wt% Pt/SiO₂. were almost disappeared. With increasing temperature of the 4 wt% Pt/SiO₂ sample at constant CO pressure(1.0torr) the linear adsorption band showed red shift ?? and the width of the band went broad.       • 인간의 시각 특성을 고려한 JPEG 기반의 양자화기 설계

        JPEG, which is a standard compression algorithm for the still image, was designed in consideration of general characteristics of the images. So, it can't reflect local characteristics such as edges well when compressing image. Therefore, lots of data loss are occurred at edges which are very sensitive to human visual system(HVS). In this paper, a scheme is proposed that improves those defects of JPEG is proposed. The sequence of the proposed scheme is as follow. First, we analyze the DCT coefficients of an image and judge the edges in the image. Second, if edges are existed, we enhance the edges by weighting the frequency parts sensitive to HVS and more compressing the frequency parts insensitive to HVS of the coefficients that are related to the edges. Computer simulation results show that the proposed compression scheme has a little inferior performance in the objective assessments such as compression ratio and PSNR, however gives superior performance of image quality improvement in the subjective assessment to JPEG.

        STS316L 용접부의 피로거동 및 초음파시럼에 의한 열화특성 평가

        STS316L은 인성, 연성, 부식저항성 등 우수한 기계적 성질 때문에 에너지환경설비 등 구조물에 널리 이용되고 있다. 그러나, 용접구조물은 가혹한 환경하에서 경년열화가 심각하다. 지금까지의 연구들은 주로 용접부의 피로균열진전거동에 관하여 수행되었고, 피로균열진전속도식의 재료상수와 비파괴적 평가의 상관성에 관한 연구는 거의 없었다. 본 연구는 STS316L 용접부의 피로균열진전 거동을 조사하고, 초음파 파라미터로 열화특성을 평가하고 시간-주파수 분석으로 해석을 하였다. 본 연구 결과는 용접구조물의 사용기간 중 피로수명 등을 예측하기 위한 기초 데이터로서 사용될 수 있다. STS316L had been used as the structural material for energy environmental facilities, because austenite stainless steels like 316L have superior mechanical properties of which toughness, ductility, corrosion resistant and etc. However, those welded structures are receiving severe damage due to increasing of the aged degradation. Most studies until now have been carried out against fatigue bahaviors of weldments, and were not well studied on nondestructive evaluation methods. In this study, the fatigue crack propagation behavior of STS316L weldment usually used for vessels of the nuclear power plant was investigated. Also, the degradation characterstics of 316L stainless steel weldments were evaluated by the ultrasonic parameter such as ultrasonic velocity, attenuation factor and time-frequency analysis. The results of this study can be used as a basic data for the prediction of the fatigue crack life of weldments structures without disjointing or stopping service of structures in service.

      • 낮은 레이놀즈 수에서의 나선형 구조물 유동 특성

        We investigated the Reynolds number effects on the flow over a twisted structure in the range of 60 ≤ Re ≤ 150 . We mainly consider drag and lift coefficients to analyze characteristics of the twisted cylinder at Re=100. In particular, the r.m.s lift values of the twisted structures show substantial decrease of approximately 68% compared with the smooth cylinder. Several peaks appear on the drag coefficient of the twisted structure. The twisted structures generate three dimension flow behind the twisted cylinder at low Reynolds numbers because of sectional shape change along the spanwise direction. Consequently, the twisted structure effectively control the vortex induced vibration at low Reynolds numbers.
