      • 車輛燃料節減을 위한 세라믹히터裝置 開發硏究

        In a carburating system, the fuel keeps vaporizing after sprayed to the carburator as droplets. But in the case of cold weather, plenty of them remain in the liquid phase, causing the increase of fuel consumption rates and harmful exhaust gas amounts. Those problems were known to be solved using the PTC ceramic heater for heating up the fuel into the cylinder in being supplied. Purpose of this research is the development of a PTC ceramic heater for automotive fuel saying. This research emphasized the fabrication of newly developed step-shaped PTC heaters assembly and the obtaining the application result after installing them on the 1500cc engine. The combustion pressure, the indicated mean effective pressure, the fuel consumption rate, the heat release, tile burned mass fraction of gas of the engine between with and without the PTC heater were compared as a function of crank angle. The reults were as follow: 1) With the PTC heater installed, the deviations of the maximum combustion pressure and the indicated mean effective pressure were improved by 2.0% and 0.8%, which brought the smoothing of drivability and the increase of engine power compared with engine without the heater. 2) The fuel consumption rates per unit power with PTC heater installed at 2000 rpm and the boost pressure of 300 mmHg and 400 mmHg were increased by 0.6∼8.1% compared with no PTC heater. 3) With 180℃ newly developed PTC heater installed, heat release time delays at the boost pressure of 300mmHg were made quicker by 1∼3 deg and the main combustion time by 5 deg compared with no PTC heater. 4) The 180℃ heater was the most effective of the three developed ones. 5) The introduction of new PTC heater improved the engine performance, which could bring the fuel saving and reduction of the harmful exhaust gas.

        Ⅲ급 부정교합의 수술-교정 치료시 상악 소구치 발치가 치열궁 폭경 변화에 미치는 영향

        본 연구에서는 Ⅲ급 수술-교정 치료 방법에 영향을 미치는 치열 상의 요소를 파악함으로써 술전 교정시 상악 소구치 발치와 비치의 판단에 필요한 임상적 정보를 얻고자 골격성 Ⅲ급 부정교합 환자의 수술-교정 치료시 흔히 선택되는 상악 제1소구치 발치로 치료된 군과 비발치로 치료된 군 간의 치료전/후 상/하악 개별 치아 이동 양상과 치열궁 폭경의 변화 양상을 비교 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 비발치로 Ⅲ급 수술-교정 치료를 마친 환자 (24명) 와 술전교정 치료시 상악 제1소구치가 발치된 환자 (31명) 의 치료 전/후 모형 상에서 개개 치아의 근원심/협설측 각도변화와 상/하 치열궁 폭경의 변화를 측정한 후, 두 군 사이의 교정적 치아 이동 양상을 비교 분석한 후 상/하 치열궁의 조화를 이루는데 필요한 치열궁 폭경의 변화와 이에 기여하는 치아 변위와의 관계를 분석하기 위하여 상관 분석과 회귀 분석을 시행한 결과 발치 군은 비발치 군에 비하여 상악 치열궁 폭경의 감소가 컸으며, 이는 상악 구치의 inclination 감소에 크게 영향 받은 것으로 관찰되었다. 하악 치열에서는 inclination의 증가와 폭경의 증가가 있었으나, 비발치/발치군간의 차이는 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구의 결과 결론적으로 Ⅲ급 수술-교정 치료시 술전 상악소구치 발치는 상악 구치부 치열궁 폭경의 감소에 크게 영향을 미치므로, 상악 소구치 발치에 대한 판단은 상/하악 치열궁의 폭경 및 구치부 경사도 문제와 연계하여 고려해야 할 사항으로 생각되었다. Collective changes caused by orthodontic tooth movement evaluated in a specific treatment modality could give suggestive information on the specific treatment strategy. The aim of this study was to investigate retrospectively the characteristics of the orthodontic tooth movement during surgical-orthodontic treatment in order to provide an effective presurgical orthodontic treatment planning for the maxillary premolar extraction modality in the skeletal Class Ⅲ malocclusion patient. Pre- and post-treatment dental casts of skeletal Class Ⅲ malocclusion patients with nonextraction (N=24) and the maxillary premolar extraction (N=31) were collected. The angulation and inclination measuring gauge (Invisitech Co. Seoul, Korea) was used to evaluate the orthodontic tooth movement. The changes in the maxillary and mandibular dental arch widths were also measured from the canines to the second molars. As a result, more palatal Inclination change in the maxillary dentition was found with the premolar extraction modality than with the nonextraction modality. Linear regression analysis showed that the inter-arch width coordination was mainly due to the inclination changes of maxillary posterior teeth. We conclude that the indications and proper treatment planning for surgical-orthodontic treatment in skeletal Class Ⅲ malocclusion with maxillary premolar extraction could depend partly on the magnitude of the transverse inter-arch coordination especially in the maxillary dentition.

      • 항공기용 단순싸이클식 공기냉동기의 작동성능 모사

        최소한 제한된 용도의 범위에서 공기압축식 냉동싸이클(ACM)의 성능을 전형적인 증기압축식 냉동싸이클의 성능과 비교될 만큼 향상시킬수 있는 가능성이 검토되었다. 몇가지 종류의 ACM중 단순식 싸이클을 연구대상으로 선택한 이유는 장치구성이 간단하고 경량이며 제조비용이 상대적으로 저렴하기 때문이다. 선정된 시스템의 성능을 모사하기 위해 수치적인 절차가 수립되었으며 각 주요 구성요소의 성능과 관련된 변수들을 고려하기 위해 수치 프로그램에 적절한 방정식들이 이용되었다. ACM의 성능계수와 냉각효과를 향상시키는 중요한 인자는 엔진에서 추가되는 블리드 공기의 온도와 압력이다. 충분히 낮은 온도와 높은 압력으로 bleed air가 ACM에 공급된다면 그 성능은 증기압축식 시스템의 성능과 비교될 수 있다. 더우기 시스템의 성능은 터빈의 팽창과정전 열교환기의 거동에 거의 비례한다. 따라서 별도의 압력용기를 이용하여 터빈으로 유입되기전 냉매공기를 냉각시킬 수 있다면 시스템의 냉각효과는 향상되리라 기대된다. An air-cycle machine(ACM) was investigated for the possibility of improving its performance to a comparable level, at least in a limited range of usage, with the conventional vapor-compression type refregeration system. A simple-cycle system was studied among several types of ACM for its brevity in structure, light weight and low manufacturing cost. A numerical procedure was established to simulate the performance of the selected system. Appropriate equations were incorporated into a computer program to account for associated performance variables in each major component: heat exchanger, fan, and turbine. The major factors for improving the coefficient of performance and the cooling effect of the ACM were identified as the temperature and the pressure of the inlet bleed air from the engine. Provided that some means are adopted to lower the temperature and to increase the pressure of the bleed air, the simple-cycle ACM may exhibit a comparable performance with the vapor compression system. In addition, the system performance showed almost proportional behavior to that of the heat exchanger prior to the turbine expansion. Use of a separate pressure tank which allows the compressed air to cool down before expantion is suggested to enhance the cooling effect.

      • 合成樹脂型 齒周包帶가 組織에 미치는 影響에 關한 硏究

        The purpose of this study is to determine the pattern of the histological changes and resorption of cyanoacrylate which have been used as plastic tissue adhesive and periodontal dressing materials. For this experimental study, 20 male mice were injected the cyanoacrylate into subcutaneous tissue of posterior femur area by syringe. The results were examined by light microscope for the histologic appearance with conventional stainable specimen. The results were as follows ; 1. Edematous tissue changes and infiltration of acute inflammatory cell were revealed on the subcutaneous tissue in early stage. 2. From the 14th days, the loss of edematous changes and dense fibrous tissue encapsulation surround the cyanoacrylate by collagenesis from granulation tissue were shown. 3. polynuclear giant cell were observed since 3 rd week, but there were not revealed resorptive phenomenon caused by them. 4. In the case of injected to muscle fiber, cyanoacrylate seperated the muscle fiber bundle. 5. During the whole period of this study, the amount of infiltration of inflammatory cell observed in the subcutaneous tissue less than in the muscle fiber.

      • 초음파 센서를 이용한 물체 인식에 관한 연구

        The object recognition using the ultrasonic resonator is reconstructed computationally on a CRT. The recognition information is obtained sequentially by the scanning the transmitter-receider unit in twodimension by the fan-beam method. The system consists of the scanning transmitter-receiver unit, step motor for position control, computing part and display unit including a CRT. The distance between sensor and object was measured quickly in each sampling point. The resolution of disk shape of 25cm diameter and the square shape of 25cm x 25cm were 77%, 61% each. The object recognition using the ultrasonic wave was carried out in air.

      • 地域經濟活性化를 위한 農村市場開發에 관한 硏究 : 忠南 禮山地域市場을 中心으로

        Since the first year economic development plan, imblanced development of national territory during the economic development process has aggravated remarkable disparity between urban and rural areas. For this reason, this study introduced the development of rural market as one of the development strategies of regional economic to correct the imblance and relieve regional disparity. The purpose of this study were to look into the present situation of traditional rural market and to analyze the problems for the rural development in view of the current road situations in the rural areas and status of marketing facilities in market center and to measure the degree of rural area people's satisfaction to the rural market and to suggest the development plan of activating for rural market center. To collect data, the Yesan Gun rural market were selected and a total of 591 residents and 178 merchants were sampled as final subjects of survey. Interview and/or questionnaire method was the main method of data collection. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1) The population of Yesan Gun has decreased 2.85 persons per year from in 1984, but the number of vehicles were increased 2.85 times than in 1989. And the parking capacity of Yesan Eup was only 129 vehicles which were below of the total vehicles of Yesan Gun area (14,352). The number of Yesan area markets were 8 markets which consisted of 1 permanent market and 7 periodic markets. But as the economy has been developed, the conditions of rural markets have been changing. That is, the role of periodic market tends to be weakened with the growth of large cities, reinforcement of permanent markets, development of traffic facilities, large production, preferring high quality goods. 3) Generally, the people of Yesan Gun were attached for purchasing the necessaries of life and comodities and farming materials to ① Yesan Eup ② Seoul ③ Chonan Shi ④ Hongsung gun ⑤ Daejeon Shi. 4) The degree of community people's satisfaction to the town market presented 26.6% which meaned higher than dissatisfaction(9.5%). And the degree of people's inconvenience of accessibility to market center by transferring of bus terminal presented 64.2% which meaned higher than average. 5) The degree of people's dissatisfaction of traffic system in Yesan gun area presented followings: the road networks(61.5%), parking facility(68%), bus route(54%). 6) By the survey of merchants of Yesan gun area, on the average, it showed followings: the size of store was 6-10 pyeong(40%), the type of enterprise was retail dealer(70.9%), and purchasing place was wholesale dealer from Seoul(51.8%). 7) And they thought that Yesan town market were too small(70.8%), and the diversifying of goods was not enough(35.5%). 8) The merchants of Yesan area showed that the degree of into venience to traffic system was 72.7% and its to parking facility was 83.3%. And they complained that community administration agency have not tried to activate market(79.1%). Based on the results of this study, the following recommendation were made for activating regional economy and community market. That is, it is to strengthen the economic function in community market so as to suffice the economic and social activities for settlement area as their living space. And it is necessary to improve the interrelationship of the central functions. 1) So, the accessibility between market center and its surrounding areas must be rised. ① the enforcing preferentially to pave the bus terminal and market center to link two place. ② the running of shuttle-bus two place every regular market day. ③ the widening and connecting the road to rise accessibility between market center and its surrounding area. ④ the enforcement of parking facility around market center. ⑤ the constructing marketing centered area as intergrated body of various marketing facilities in the adjacent site is the centered area planned to achieve efficient marketing. 2) The modernization and specialization market center facilities. 3) The strengthening of drawing surrounding area people into Yesan market center. So, the following recommended: ① the development of special products market ② inducing special projects ③ the development tour and leisure course drawing industrial facilities. 4) And it needs to enforce community people's local patriotism and to support community markets by administration agency.

      • 韓國産 蓼(여뀌)科 植物에 관한 本草學的 硏究 (I)

        For the purpose of developing Korean Herbalogy with the plants of Polygonaceae which grow wild and is planted in Korea, the these and writings on herbalogy, from literature of successive generations, have been thoroughly investigative and the results obtained were as follows: 1. There were totaled to 16 genera and 156 species in Korea and among them medicinal plants are 12 genera, 47 species, some 30% in total, but the number of species may be added because of the similiar plants. 2. According to the oriental names which can be used for medical purpose, the medicinal plants belonging to the Polygonaceae family were classified as Herba 21, Radix 12, Foilum 8, Lignum 5, Flos 4, Fructus 5, Ramulus 2 and Semen 1. Thus it was noticed that Herba was the main kind. 3. According to sum of 156 species in Polygonaceae family, they were classified into Persicaria genera 63, Polygonum genera 23, Rumex genera 22, Bistorta genera 14, Aconogonum genera 6, Fagopyrum genera 5, Bilderdykia genera 4, Amblygonum genera 3, Reynoutria genera 3, Rheum genera 3, Pleuropterus genera 2, Pleuropteropyrum genera 2, Tovara genera 2, Ampelygonum genera 1, Homalocladium genera 1 and Oxyria genera 1. Thus it was noticed that Persicaria genera was the main kind, some 40.3% in total. 4. According to nature and flavour of medicinal plants, they were classified into cold, cool; 23 each, warmth, heat; 11 each, balance 11 and unidentified 5. Thus it was noticed that cold, cool is the main in nature and flavour of medicinal plants. From this result, it was revealed that the plants for medical purpose in Polygonaceae was 30% of the whole, in which HERBA was mostly abundunt and toxic plants was slightly poisonous that it will be used for clinical treatments more easily. It is considered that many experiements and clinical approaches must be continued to use Polygonaceae plants widely.

        한랭노출과 고혈압의 연관성

        Objectives : This study was carried out to suggest preventive methods for hypertension in cold-exposed workers. Methods : In 11 refs·iteration industries, 68 workers working in refrigerated areas more than one time per day were selected as the exposed group, and 68 workers not exposed to cold were selected as the control group. We interviewed the subjects with a questionnaire covering occupational history, and conducted clinical and laboratory tests including measurements of blood pressure and core temperature. Results : The systolic blood pressure in the exposed group(130.0±13.3 mmHg) was significantly higher than that recorded In the control group(118.3±12.1 mmHg), as was the diastolic blood pressure in the exposed group(82.7±8.5 mmHg) versus the control group(77.4±8.7 mmHg). The core temperature in the exposed group(36.1±0.7℃) was significantly lower than that experienced in the control group (36.4±0.5℃). In logistic regression analysis, age, cold exposure severity and milk intake were significant variables, with odds ratios of 5.204(95 % CI 1.440∼18.812), 2.674(95 % CI 1.080∼6.618), and 0.364(95 % Cl 0.141∼0.942) , respectively. Conclusions : Our study suggests that cold-exposed workers have higher a higher risk of hypertension, and that their core temperature is lower. Risk factors affecting hyper-tension of cold-exposed workers include age, cold exposure severity and milk intake. For the prevention of hypertension, cold-exposed workers should minimize cold-exposure time as much as possible.

      • F-106 Indeterminate result of interferon-gamma release assays in patients with diabetes mellitus: Propensity score matching analysis

        Background: The sensitivity of the interferon-gamma release assays (IGRAs) in the detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection could be affected by immune dysregulated conditions. In this reason, diabetes mellitus (DM) may increase the frequency of indeterminate result of IGRAs. However, the evidence about whether DM could affect the results of IGRAs has not been proved. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed all patients underwent IGRAs at Chonnam National University Hospital between 2013 and 2014. A total 3,391 patients were selected (negative 1,860 [54.9%], indeterminate 266 [7.8%], and positive 1,265 [37.3%]). Results: In the multiple logistic regression analysis according to negative, indeterminate, and positive groups, DM, malignancy, liver cirrhosis, systemic corticosteroids, lymphocytopenia, anemia, lower level of albumin, and higher level of C-reactive protein (CRP) were significantly common in the indeterminate group (all P values < 0.05). After propensity score matching with covariates of age, sex, rheumatologic disease, malignancy, bone marrow transplantation, dialysis, liver cirrhosis, corticosteroids or immunosuppressive agent use, lymphocytopenia, anemia, albumin, and CRP, each 476 patients and 382 patients were selected in negative and indeterminate groups, and positive and indeterminate groups. In the logistic regression analysis, DM did not increase the indeterminate result of IGRAs compared to negative and positive groups after propensity score matching. Conclusions: In this large cohort study, indeterminate results of IGRAs are not affected by DM.
